It is pretty great but is it possible to have too many hats. I had trouble telling which ones were male or female. I am not sure if the little metal predators, robots and tanks are for sale or not. If there were more stars for this place I would have given them. Great service from both of the reps and excellent selection. As far as price is concerned its hard to put a price range on it. Some of the brans go over $200 but nothing is over priced and they have everything from stylish to goofy. I absolutely live this place every time we go to Venice beach we stop by and every time we buy a new hat. They had the off white panama straw hat we had looked everywhere for. I was on a mission to buy a cowboy hat and boots, and I thought I'd accomplish it here because they had this insane collection of hats in general, many were cowboy hats, and some other nifty ones, but some were just too hipster for me. The shoes and clothes were fabulous, though on the hipster side again, and that also means that everything was overpriced but a fun store nonetheless. They had these cool cast iron sculptures laid out in a row, and it took me a minute but I did figure it out, they were all Star Wars characters. read more

Recieved a metal figurine as a gift and when I opened the box the arm was broken. When I called to ask if they can repair it Sean was very rude and was trying to blame ups. It was a nice gift from a friend unfortunately this place does not want to repair it. I will not recommend this place to anyone. Terrible customer service. Really disappointed. read more

Its the best of the best, there store was AWESOME!! The hats were pretty darn good but what really caught my eye was the metal sculptures that were made of metal nails and other mechanic stuff. I would definitely recommend going there if I were you. read more

I brought my boyfriend here this weekend for his birthday from San Diego to buy a hat. Hes been wanting to buy a Ivy style hat, but like me, he has a big head. Nothing at regular stores comes close to fitting him. Ive been in this store before and knew we would walk out of this place with a hat for him! It was a little overwhelming with the enormous inventory but we were soon helped by 1, and then 2 other employees. All of them were super helpful. We let them know our price range, hat style, color and fabric and they found many hats we liked. We wanted 2 hats, but only planned on spending around $50 for a hat. The Ivy my boyfriend went with fit perfect and looked so good! It was $38 which i though was a very reasonable price for the style and quality. It was a little warm in there, so with A/C, we could of spent hours in there. So if your looking for a hat and think you have a big or small head, there WILL be something for you here with great employees to help you. read more

It's a unique store, and the first place I would go if I needed a new hat. There are quite a lot of hats, an overwhelming selection in fact, though much of the inventory trends toward the same sort of style. Lots of douchey Jersey Shore deconstructionist type stuff. Also a huge selection of driving hats and fedoras. The British guy (the owner i guess) walks around and offers to make a deal with everybody, so don't pay the price on the sticker. read more

My daughter and I sought out this store after I had read about it in Popular Photography of all places. If you like hats, this is the place. Sometimes I'm quite content to through myself into the hands of competent and knowledgeable sales person, and my daughter and I had a wonderful time being led through a series of hats that were accompanied by styling tips, anecdotes, and incredible enthusiasm. If you are the type who likes to be left alone and browse, I'm certain they would respect that, but you'd be missing out on half the fun, and maybe miss half the opportunities: the store is loaded with hats, and two of the three my daughter bought hadn't even been taken out of their new inventory and placed on display! Altogether: six hats and we couldn't have been more satisfied! It is an experience not to be missed if you really care about what you put on your head! read more

My husband and I were on vacation and he forgot to pack a hat. He typically wears baseball caps so we stopped in to pick one out. Simple right? Well, we walked deeper into the store and Carl started putting very cool hats our heads. He has this way of picking out fantastic hats and placing it just so on your head. So we left with two hats, one for me, one for my husband (neither were baseball caps). Every time I wear my hat out I get compliments. Coolest store on Venice beach. The metal sculptures are amazing. I ended up buying 2 Star Wars themed figures and I'm more than happy with them. I just wish they sold these figures online :(. Staff are very friendly, helpful and easy to barter with. read more
