I have been going to Title Boxing for many years. Recently, I have noticed positive changes in their overall management of clients, staff, and the environment. The place was never dirty, but it is noticeably cleaner. No smudges on the mirrors or dust. Whatever the staff is doing, keep doing it! I inquired about membership fees because I always just came for private training. At some point I signed up for group classes and then decided it wasn't for me. It wasn't canceled the first time I asked another staff member. However, Ashley promptly addressed the issue and asked if I wanted to be refunded or have a credit put on my account. I decided to sign up for more private training sessions and get a kick start on slimming down for summer! I am pleased with the new vibe and hope that they continue to make positive changes. I've been a member at Title for the past 2 years. I took my first class with Penny and have been hooked since. The first class I ever took with Kellcie really inspired me to take my fitness to the next level. I have been a member of her small group training since 2022 when it first started. I look forward to Pat's class every Monday night before our small group. My Sunday morning PT sessions with Kellcie while Jay was on the mic used to be my favorite part of the day (Jay Day). Since starting training, I have lost almost 70 pounds. The community at Title has given me confidence and pushed me to strive to hit my goals. It used to feel like family. With the recent changes in trainers, the schedule and management, the atmosphere is not the same and leaves something to be desired. read more

I was a member for over a year. Spent over $5K in personal training in addition to my membership fees. Classes used to be so much fun, then management turned on the trainers. The management team only cares about making money and they are constantly increasing the fee's. They say the club is like a family and it used to be. Not anymore. The owner and the managers don't even know the members name. The most amazing trainers in the club left or got their hours cut. Pat & Melissa are the heart and soul of the Club and unfortunately management doesn't appreciate the hard work they put into their classes and teaching the members. There are so many other gyms in the area, people can go anywhere. They will stay for the atmosphere and the trainers. This is not that place anymore. It's really a shame. read more

At first I couldn't imagine continuing the practice...to be honest, it was really hard! But, at the same time, I thought I can definitely improve my body if I keep working. Thanks to nice instructors and free choices when to go there, I've kept working and feel my body shape became better after taking lessons for few months. Don't sign a contract with these people. I signed up for a year and decided to cancel after about 6 months. I was perfectly okay with paying the cancellation fee. Instead of allowing me to pay that and ending the relationship they demanded that I come to Their location to physically sign a form. So I could only get their on a Saturday and they close early. In the time it took for me to sign that form they got another Month payment out of me. On top of that, after I signed the form they charged me for yet another months payment. So from the time of me asking to cancel my membership and charge me the cancellation fee they sucked two more months payments out of me. I am still not officially cancelled. Now on to the facility. The concept is good. The classes are not. Instructions are far to fast, no time or attention was paid to those that are not keeping up. Instructors spoke to fast over the PA and moved through combinations without letting people understand what the goals where. The facility is to small for the way they have it configured. For some classes I had to share a bag. Okay for a gym that does a bunch of different stuff but this is what this place is for. The staff overall was friendly, my biggest complaints are their manipulative ways to squeeze money out of me after I told them to cancel my membership. If you are done they should respect that. Charge you the fee and move on. Jumping through hoops to prevent your getting out of your contract lets them charge you when you are not using the facility! read more

This coming August I will have been a member of Title North Andover for two years. What got me to start coming to Title was a friend of mine recommended that I try it and take the free class. Her exact words were, "if I can do it, you can do it." The first day I came in the staff was so welcoming and great with making you feel comfortable. Even the members that I met during my free class were so nice and encouraging. I loved my free class so much that I signed right up. Joining Title has truly changed my life. I feel so much healthier, both mentally and physically. I have learned to get back into a workout routine and have stayed with it. I have learned to eat better/healthier but still enjoy sweet treats. Title has help me transform my life! I have lost 54 pounds since joining. An other thing I love about Title North Andover that you can't find at other gyms is that we are a community, we are a family here. We all know and care about each other here. read more

I love the classes and workouts but the price is truly ridiculous especially if you're in college/work part time. I pay $80 a month and need to cancel after a year because I just can't keep up with the payments. It really is a shame because the classes are exceptional and give you an amazing work out. The only down fall is the money side. I also really don't appreciate how every time I walk in there someone tries to sell me something. Every. single. time. Whether it's PT or the gloves (which is an additional $50-100) it seriously ruined the experience for me when it began happening repeatedly. I even got text messages from trainers when I inquired about PT one time (annoying)--- Also, why offer gloves to use if you're just going to badger at me to buy my own every time? I am literally broke and I don't think it's exactly polite or smart to push sales onto someone like that (especially me, a college student who is BROKE). I am always late on my monthly membership fee, why do you think I can afford gloves, equipment or PT? I could have been more assertive, but I have a hard time just saying no and the staff just makes you feel that much more pressured. I feel like they don't even care about my fitness? Just their money? I love working out, but I really just want to workout and LEAVE without any talking/hassle and without dealing with any of that and it happened the entire year I was a member and it deferred me from showing up to take classes which I already pay a shit load of money for (for me a broke ass college kid) I recommend trying to up-sale to people who show up almost daily for a while and seem super into it, not people just trying it out to start, no one wants to invest that much money in something they already have to pay $80 a month to try. If you're looking for a high energy workout, this is for you. A 15 minute warm up followed by 30 minutes of punching a heavy bag and a stretch to cap it off. If you're looking to learn how to box, look elsewhere. This is a fitness workout club not a boxing gym. No technique is taught. No sparring. And no contact. I already have 2 gym memberships. I would return for the workouts but don't want a third gym. They do not offer drop in fees so I gave them 4 stars. read more

To "Title Boxing" family, i guess your are part of family only if you keep paying them, the minute you ask to cancel your membership, true colors come out. My experience was just with 1 employee, TIM. You call yourself a manager? You are a JOKE Tim. Ill mannered, unprofessional and ridiculous. He does not even know how to deal with his customers the minute they say they want to cancel their membership. Remember you are in Custmer service business!!I requested for my membership to be cancelled as i have not been to title boxing for almost 3 months because My wife and I are going through medical challenges, yes its my fault that i did not cancel my membership earlier. I called title on 22nd feb to cancel my membership and requested to not charge me for upcoming month. Tim replied sayin i am going to get charge regardless because thats how the contract is. So i wanted to reach out and talk in person to explain my situation and why i am canceling my membership and it would be appreciated if he doesnt charge me for one extra month since i have already paid for last 2-3 months without using services. Even after leaving several text messages and voicemails, I did not receive any response or call back. So i went to the boxing club in hopes to get some answers.When i saw Tim, He tells me ," we shouldn't even have a conversation," i said Tim i am at title that is very rude for you to say i cant have a conversation with you right now, he replied, " i have had few drinks, i dont want to have a conversation. So i respectfully asked him if we could talk Monday? Tim rudely responded" you wont hear from me, no matter what you do your are still going to get charged." Conversation ends there. It felt so rude after being a part of title family for almost 2 years, it was very hurtful to be treated this way. They call themselves "Title family", i dont think anyone treats their family member so rudely by ignoring their call and messages and then when you see them they talk to you so rudely. It was so insulting. Guys dont take me wrong, i have never written any online reviews for anything, this is the first review i am writing because i felt so insulted and humiliated. I love all other employees and trainers at Title. But TIM, you should be ashamed of your behavior and may be rake a few lessons in customer service and management. Great staff. Friendly and accommodating. The instructors coach well. Most important, they motivate me to move while hitting the bag to obtain the optimum workout. Bobbing and weaving doesn't come naturally to me but it makes for a total body workout. The 15 minute warm-up is killer for old flabby me but it's worth it. Next comes 8 rounds of 3 minutes separated by 1 minute recovery/water breaks. At the end, I'm always punched out. The session ends with 15 minutes of core work. Grueling but important. Some people leave but I try to stay because I really need it. Most important, the other boxers are mostly friendly. Of course, YMMV. Hit it hard and hit it often! read more

Staff is friendly and motivating. The workouts are really good , with a perfect mix of core, boxing and cardio. Nice to have an impact sport to complement all the non-impact stuff I do. I really like learning a new skill (boxing) while I am getting exercise. They have technique classses for those who want to refine their skills which makes the fitness classes more enjoyable, because you can feel the efficiency in your motion and have a more satisfying workout. read more

I went to a class for the first time last month to see if it was something i would be interested in doing. Never boxed before and I have to say I LOVED it. The workout was amazing. I left there feeling ready to go for the day. The trainer was very helpful. I forget her name but she was passionate about her job. I believe she was the only staff member in the whole place that was decently happy to be there. If i could give a rating for my Boxing experience it would be at least a four. But i can't give this place a 4. The other staff member that I met that day was awful. First let me start off when I walked in the club there was a girl at the desk that just looked unhappy. (i believe her name was Amy) After my class she was pushy. It was almost as if she was not interested in helping me get fit she was looking for my money. Which is a HUGE turn off for me. After her being so pushy I was considering signing up but when I walked away from the front desk because I had a phone call I couldn't focus on my phone call because I over heard her talking about other staff members. Now I know everyone has issues with other co workers but the words that was coming out of her mouth were so inappropriate and I would never want her to work for my establishment. I was just completely turned off at this point. Needless to say, i have a wife and 4 teenagers that I wanted to take a class to see if they liked it and if they did we were all going to sign up, but not after how I was being forced to sign up and how she treats others. read more

This is my third week at Title Boxing North Andover...and I honestly can't say enough good things about this gym, the staff and the members! I signed up for the 6 week challenge after seeing it advertised on Facebook...I had gained some weight after the death of my beautiful 22yo son from Leukemia a year ago June 1st. Grief hits everyone differently...but losing a child is a different animal. I am a psychotherapist on the North Shore and know how important both your physical and mental health is...this workout routine absolutely helps with both! The day I went for my consult, I was met by this amazing person...Abby...who was to do my paperwork. In minutes, I was sobbing and had shared why I was wanting to come into the gym. I told her that a month prior they had donated to my son's Night of Giving fundraiser for the foundation I started for him (Reid Landry Garrant Foundation www.reidsrebels.com). Abby also had tears in her eyes and I could feel her compassion for what had happened to my son...she got why I needed to be there. She made me feel comfortable and said that this was going to help me all the way around! I signed up and started class the following Monday. I went to Pat's 6:00 class...I was told to come a 1/2 prior to get help putting my wraps on my hands and to go over the punches on the bag...I could only think of one thing...beating the crap out of Leukemia by hitting the bag. I was met by Monica who helped me wrap my hands and showed me the punches...I thought to myself...I am so out of shape right now...how am I going to be able to do this? I was also invigorated by the atmosphere, the music, the buzz of the members...who clearly love this place! I spoke to a few members prior to the start of class who told me, "You will feel badass after taking these classes!" She was right! I told her that I bought orange wraps, as that was the color for Leukemia and that with every punch I was honoring my son. The class began and I started doing jumping jacks with everyone else...It was the first exercise I had done in over a year...I again thought to myself...what are you doing? Are you crazy? You are so winded and have to modify all of your moves...you lost your flexibility and there are so many "in shape" people surrounding you...then I thought...this could be me!! Prior to my son's death, I was in incredible shape and worked out 4-5 days per week. Pat kept coming over to me and checking in and asked me how many classes I had been to...I told him that this was my first...he said, "I can't believe it...you would never know"...I became emotional in class towards the end...thinking about why I was there...because I want to take my anger out on the Leukemia that took my son from me...Title Boxing has given me this outlet...Shelly, the manager from the gym is also wonderful and is always there for any questions you may have...I still have a long way to go...but feel like I have found a new home here! I can't say enough about Title, N Andover. I've only been there for three weeks but have already seen improvement in EVERYTHING (weight loss, strength, confidence, technique, you name it.) Shelly was so friendly and informative about different types of memberships which helped me out financially. She always has a smile on her face and remembered my name after only being there once! Brandon is my favorite trainer. Even in the group classes he truly focuses on you, your technique, and overall how you're doing when he steps up to your bag. He pushes me to try my best every single time and I always feel proud of myself leaving. The entire staff is friendly and are always willing to answer questions. I generally don't enjoy going to the gym, but a friend convinced me to try this boxing gym. I love the work out and the classes. It is a bit expensive, but way less than a crossfit gym - and you get the motivation to come every day. So glad I made the decision to join. read more

I wish I could give zero stars to this place. Don't get me wrong the trainers are great and really know their stuff, but the business side is awful. I signed up for a 2 week trial and I liked it but it was hurting my hands. Their super pushy staff kept telling me to join and try to work on my technique to help my hands. So I asked if I could sign up for a month and try. They told me yes. I asked if after the first month would I have to come in and provide them again with my debit card in order to be charged. They told me yes. Now shame on me for not reading the fine print but for some crazy reason I trusted the staff member. I tried cancelling after the first month when my hands kept getting worse and they said it wasn't within 30 days so I'd automatically be charged $89 for the following month and REFUSED to make any exceptions. Basically I would have had to cancelled the day I signed up to not be charged the next month. I tried explaining the whole situation and they didn't care, they actually told me I could keep coming in for that month since I was going to be charged for it anyway. I was disgusted with their customer service and how little they cared, they are a money hungry company. read more

Love this place!! Officially addicted! mom to two under the age of four-I have no time to mess around at the gym for hours. So... I've had the chance to train (powerhour) with each instructor & all are great. I'm sure everyone will have a favorite but you're able to get a great workout regardless of who's teaching the class. That being said, I absolutely LOVE Stephanie's, Brandon's & Tristian's classes! They are great at engaging the whole class & really motivates you to push through!! read more

I had originally called and the girl on the phone was MISERABLE to talk to but figured she was just the receptionist and the trainers would be better so after getting nothing besides highblood pressure talking to Jen i believe, i went in a few days later and sure enough a bitchy reddish head i only assume was her proceeded with 10sec of disrespect spouted at me so i just left. I love being a member at Title. I tried every type of gym/training before I walked into Title and after my first Power Hour I knew I found the perfect place for me. I love all the trainers, they all have their own personality they bring to the class and at the same time deliver equally challenging classes and I never leave disappointed. Great full body workout! Staff were very friendly setting me up as a new member and they helped show me the common bag punches. I definitely loved the workout and the best part is you get to try your first class for free ( except you pay $6 for hand wraps you get to keep) I plan to sign up for unlimited monthly classes in the future! I am giving this one star only because I have to. My mother and I showed up at 4:40am for a 5am trial class because we were told to be there 20 minutes early. I have boxed before but she hasn't. At 5:10am we were still sitting in the parking lot because no one had shown up to open. We left because if someone ever showed up my mom still needed gloves and to get set up. This is highly unprofessional and has turned me completely against this gym. Not a good start to the day when you try to get your 5am workout in. Title will never have my business. read more

I was looking for not only a different, exciting workout alternative to the standard gym atmosphere but a place that was welcoming and encouraging. I found it at Title Boxing in No. Andover. It's been about 3 months and I can see and feel the physical results. It's a great feeling. You are welcomed with high fives, bump pumps and words of encouragement from the trainers. After a 15 minute warmup you're ready to take the days stress out on the heavy bag! I love that the trainers walk around helping by correcting some of your foot placements, posture, etc. You work at your own pace with encouragement to push yourself. Then it's 15 minutes of core and the final bell of pure accomplishment is yours after 60 minutes. I can't recommend this place enough. It's my sanity break in a hectic week. Come join us. I LOVE Title boxing in North Andover MA. This club opened in Sept 2013 and I have been going faithfully 3-5 times a week. The workout is awesome and whatever your personal goal may be, this program will pull it all together for you. The trainers are fabulous and are held to very high standards. Not everyone that applies to be a trainer will even pass the first round of interviews with this club. They really take the time to hire the best around. The workout is a very high energy workout which consists of 15 min of warm up and cardio, 30 mins of cardio with punching or kickboxing and 15 mins of pure core work. For me, I own my own business and work around my clients needs, which can make finding time to workout challenging. However, Title is open 7 days a week with at 4- 6 classes available a day. With hours like that I am totally able to create a workout schedule that works best for me ! read more
