I have no contract, agreement, or paperwork on file with them as I am a member at my home location in New York! I pay for nationwide access to classes as I travel a lot for work. I was lied to and maliciously charged fees after being denied to work out at this (Pensacola, FL) location. I never authorized this and the front desk, Heather lied to my face, took my card and fraudulently took a payment without any paperwork then denied me working out stating I missed the 5 minute mark of the class start time- which they knew as they were asking me to fill out numerous papers (Again, I'm already a member). And it's not about the money, solely the principle. The racial undertone in this experience is very evident. No one else in there would have been treated like this!!! I've been a member for exactly 1 year and this is the worst that I've ever been treated out of the mini locations I've utilized during my membership!! This location is not for US unfortunately...

I can only pray. With his way of thinking this is doubtful. They most likely will keep much more money than they should. Stay away unless your willing to go along with every arrogant extra charge and lack of follow through they dish out. The instructor was very to the point and did a great job explaining and guiding us through the class, which I really appreciated--especially as someone who likes clear direction. My intro class was with Jill, I signed up the same day. I loved it that much. I have gone seven different times since then and used Sarah, Wendy and Dawn. And every single one of them was more than competent and skillful and knowledgeable at what they do. I am the type to ask questions if I don't understand, especially about form and nobody seems aggravated or "too good" to help me with my questions. It honestly feels like a family , which I love. There are two different membership options to choose from , 1 is eight classes a month and the other is unlimited. I chose the latter option. I love that you can book ahead and see all of the classes on an app. The machines are always clean and ready for the next group . The equipment is all new and not heavily used, which I love. Bathrooms are always clean, fully stopped with any of the extra feminine necessities you might need while stretching your body in abnormal ways I would love for you to join me for a class! I was nervous when I first began here as I'd never focused on strength or skill work before, but they welcome people of all fitness levels. The instructors are amazing at scaling so you still see progress, but are staying safe. I'm four months in and already the strongest I've ever been in my life! 10/10 would recommend!

When following up I was "referred to legal" despite the owner telling me it was no problem prior. How can I give a 30 days notice if classes changed in that time? Would not recommend to those tight on their budgets.

The location of the Y was poorly planned. The building is small, parking is atrocious. It is a…read morenice facility, but for the increasing number of members, there shouldn't be a reason that you have to consistently look for non-peak times to get in a workout. The pool is TINY. Only 4 lanes with one being for walk aerobics. You usually have to share your lane with one to two other swimmers. You also have to walk to the pool from the locker room area next to the lobby. That makes absolutely no sense. The pool is also located in a glassed area next to the upper level workout rooms. So, be prepared for LOUD music being played while you swim and constant traffic from gym members. Front desk staff haven't been trained in customer service. No greetings, have their phones in front of them, when you have questions, they just point to self-service. Not quite sure why there needs to be a paid position for someone who doesn't seem to have a purpose being there. No way to improve on this except for moving to a bigger, better planned building and hire new staff or retrain existing staff.
