I recently switched from Anytime Fitness to Title Boxing Club, and I must say, I have not had a single regret about my decision. When I signed up for my first FREE class, I was nervous, didn't know what I was getting myself into, and wanted to just turn around and go home. But, after pushing through, I realized that one hour of boxing was one of the best workouts I've had in the two years that I've been consistently going to just a regular gym. And now, it's an addiction. I'm back and forth between Tampa and Orlando, and whenever I'm in Tampa, I visit this location because it's the closest to my house. When I walked in for my first class at this particular location, the trainers and management immediately recognized that I was a new, and didn't hesitate to introduce themselves. The workout is basically broken down the same way for each location--15 min. warm up, 30 min. boxing, and 15 min. core/sculpting--but each trainer is different. However, the trainers at Carrollwood all have one thing in common; they all love to turn up during their sessions, which makes working out with them all the more fun. The trainers are also very interactive with their classes. They'll help you with your form, encourage you to keep going, and motivate you finish strong. The club itself is actually pretty big compared to others, and there's other fitness equipment that you can use to warm up. Having just recently moved down to the Tampa area this past summer and not having anyone around to motivate me, I was slacking on my workout regimen. Interested in trying boxing, I googled boxing clubs on a whim and found that Title in Carrollwood was only a short distance from my house, something I never had before in my small hometown, or at college. I went for my first free class in August, and never looked back. 6 months later, I'm still screaming throughout every workout, but the feeling when I walk out exhausted hasn't gotten old! Not only is each workout an intense, full-body burner, but the trainers make it fun an entertaining, engaging each member and making sure no one feels left out or lost. In my experience, this especially applies to Jay's classes. Even when I feel like I could pass out from the exertion, Jay makes everyone laugh and keeps us going with his commentary and encouragement. Knowing he awards a "power hour champion" at the end only makes you push yourself that much harder. Being a part of Title has not only made me feel like I have an encouraging community here, but has also made me stronger than ever before. Title Boxing Carrollwood. I've been coming to this club for approximately two years and still love it. I see that there are some one-star reviews and all I can say to them is give it another try. There is a new owner and a new vibe to the club these days. If you don't already know how to box or kickbox, come a little early and ask one of the trainers to help you. They are very friendly and willing to help those who are looking for help. But realize, the main focus is on burning calories and building strength and stamina. This is not a boxing gym with sparring. It's a wonderful thing to hit something that doesn't hit you back! The exercise is intense. The trainers are very motivational throughout the class, but as with any exercise program, you get out of it what you put into it. If you don't like to sweat, this may not be the place for you. But if you like to get a great workout with a feeling of accomplishment, not to mention punching and kicking out whatever frustrations you're dealing with, I highly recommend Title Boxing Carrollwood. read more

My family has been members of Title Boxing Club in Carrollwood since August 2014, and We Love it there so much. The entire staff makes us feel right at home and greet us with a smile the minute We walk in the door. The trainers there are the best around and take the time to train you in proper boxing and kick boxing technique. You are guaranteed to have a fun time in every class you take. Another bonus is that you will make friends because the members Love the classes so much you run into them multiple times a week! If you are bored with your regular gym routine and want to move more instead of relying on weights and machines Title Boxing Club is the place to be. The staff is friendly and very helpful and every trainer is motivating and inspiring and brings a different style so the workouts are never the same. I have been going to Title in Carrollwood for almost two years and am never bored...which I was at a regular gym My old gym routine used to consist of cardio and then I would look at the weights, cables and other machines and turn around and leave the gym! The workouts are intense, but the trainers are focused on helping you through every step of the class. The good thing is that you work at your own level and each week you will see improvement on your focus, endurance, and in developing your skills. I attend the 6am warriors class. The trainers are awesome! They have high energy, break down the combination, and give modifications if needed. If any member needs more instruction on hand wrapping, form, or coordination the trainers are eager to take their time before and after class to do so. The club recommends a private training session if you are a beginner. As an occupational therapist, any beginner should take precautionary measures to prevent their own injury. Any member who became injured due to taking a class did not stand up for their own body. Know your body, respect the journey. The class is meant for high fat burning intense cardio. It's more about quick hands than about hard hits. The strength and endurance comes after speed and agility just like any sport. Don't get mad, get fit. One of the best decisions I have ever made was to join Title a little over a year ago. I was never big on working out, but this place changed my whole outlook. Not only have I lost about 40lbs and eat more now than I ever did...but for a woman in my 40's, I'm in the best shape of my life! I have had personal trainers in the past. I have had gym memberships for years and never stepped foot in the gym. With Title, I actually look forward to going!! I have been a member of Title Boxing for the last 4 months and have nothing but great things to say about them. I attend the Carollwood location 4-6 days a week and get a great work out every time. The trainers are top notch, especially Jay ('The Wolf') and Ivan ('Angrybird'). They are high energy and try to keep everyone motivated. In my time of going there, I have dropped 3 pant sizes, lost 15 lbs, and have gained a good amount of muscle. The classes are fast paced and varied. They focus on cardio as well as technique and will help you out if you need assistance in catching up. I have been coming to this gym for three weeks and absolutely love it. I have never been one to exercise and It was time I did so I called and spoke with Taylor who was really nice and informative! The next day I came in and did a class and fell in love! I didn't feel intimidated as I have in regular gyms, the trainers are very nice and helpful! I now go three times a week and love being a part of "the Wolfpack" Jay motivates and helps you with form and makes the class fun which also makes the time fly by! I've been going to Title Boxing for A year, and it has truly changed my life. Absolutely amazing boxing instructor Nicole, Shey and Jenny (their nick name is "Charlie Angel" I made up)! The instructors are knowledgeable, supportive, and make sure everyone feels welcome, no matter their fitness level. The workouts are challenging, fun, and incredibly motivating. Joined 2 weeks ago and love it. Very extensive cardio workout reminds me of wrestling practice back in the day. And the bonus is you get to learn boxing too. It's true it can be a little overwhelming for your first class, but if you stick it out after a few classes it gets much easier and the different punches and technique start to make sense. Love the workout and the training staff. Friendly, helpful and they teach you how to box to get the benefits! I feel better now at mid 40s than I did when I was in my 30s! You get out what you put in and you really can feel yourself getting stronger as time goes on. 3 times a week is perfect for me. Once you start here it's hard to go anywhere else because the energy here is unmatched. All of the trainers and the owner are amazing and create a friendly/family-like environment.
