My go-to order right now is the birria ramen, and I highly recommend it. The portion is generous, and it's packed with flavor. The food has been consistently good, for the two times I have been. I will say it's a little on the pricey side for this type of restaurant, but the quality of the food makes it worth it. It's a bit out of the way for me, so I don't make it there often, but whenever I'm in the area, it's definitely one of the places on my list to stop at.

One thing that makes this place a little different is the ordering process. There's no interaction with a cashier -- you place your order at a kiosk, grab your number, sit down, and someone brings the food out to your table when it's ready. It's simple, quick, and actually makes the whole experience feel pretty smooth. I tend to stick with the same three tacos every time because they never disappoint: the birria tacos, the shrimp taco, and the carne asada tacos. All three are packed with flavor and always taste fresh. The birria tacos are rich and savory, the shrimp taco is well-seasoned and satisfying, and the carne asada has great flavor and texture. Even when I order takeout, the tacos are still in great shape by the time I get home -- not soggy, which is a big plus. Their lemonade is really good too, especially the mango and blueberry flavors. It is on the sweeter side, but still refreshing and pairs well with the tacos. I've dined in before and once ordered chicken strips for my daughter. They were pretty good -- most likely frozen and not hand-breaded -- but still decent enough and she enjoyed them, so no complaints there. For my usual order, the total usually comes out to around $50-$60, which feels fair considering the quality and how filling everything is. Overall, this is hands-down my go-to taco spot right now. The food is consistently good, the system is convenient, and to me they serve some of the best tacos around. Definitely worth the drive, and I'll keep coming back.

Started our catch up session with a couple of brews and their salsa, I'll call it a flight - medium, a tomatillo verde, and a spicier one - delightful. Their small cheese dip was also great - next time I think I'll try the Spinach Cheese dip but needed a baseline to taste first. I got the chicken and chorizo which was also great, and the chicken fajitas came out sizzling hot! Our server was such a delight, we let her know it was the middle for us to meet and couldn't believe we had both driven 45+ min but was grateful we did and even made recommendations for when we come back. We enjoyed their outdoor seating and had a great time with good food.

One of their salsas has some heat which gave it an enjoyable tingle for my taste buds. Dinner options are broad. While my family got chimis and quesadilla (which were good) I enjoyed This and That, with 2 spicy crabmeat and shrimp burritos and 2 chicken flautas. What a great variety of flavors you n one plate, again with a little bit of heat. I didn't partake in the drink menu this visit but they offered traditional Mexican soft drinks and of course margaritas. There's some guys finishing up at the table and a couple others picking up and a couple people with a literature cart so I'm feeling comfortable here. I ask for two each steak and chicken tacos and pick up a little something to read while I wait. A couple minutes later my food is ready and I'm getting some blazing-hot-sauce and heading to the little white truck to get out of the blowy cold. Tacos are lightly seasoned and topped with pico and avacado, onions and lime on the side. Chicken is cooked through but still soft and moist. Same for the steak but with some crispy edges. Grilled onions and lime squeezings make for a fine dinner. Yay! I'm a fan!

The menu has a few item types with a large variety of meat choices, or vegetables. There is also a special of three tacos with rice and beans for $7, which is what I got. The food was prepared to order and took about five minutes. The tacos were overstuffed (that's a good thing) with meat and onions. The green salsa was excellent and not too spicy and next time I will try the next spice level up. Oh yeah, the beans are fantastic...but the tacos are definitely the stand out here.
