I had heard great things about this place, so I decided to stop in on Friday night and treat myself to a cheat meal. I couldn't decide what to get, so I went with the Trio--and wow, I'm glad I did! Let me tell you, I haven't had tacos with this much flavor in a long time. I ordered and took a seat, and the staff was super friendly. A gentleman--maybe the owner?--was walking around checking on everyone, which was a nice touch. The rice had a little kick to it, but nothing I couldn't handle. As for the tacos: the Carne Asada was hands-down my favorite. So flavorful! The Bang Bang Shrimp was a close second, and the Birria Taco was solid too. I'll definitely be back!

I ordered to go! The Birria is moist and packed with flavor. They are small but decent sized. I wished my shells were doused in sauce. I felt completely satiated. The queso wasn't authentic. It was canned cheese and very salty. So, beware. It was a quick in/out with a kiosk ordering system. Completely no frils but I was greeted by the server. It's small, very cozy and mysterious spot. I would come back and try more.

Talking Tacos offers an experience, blending Mexican food with an automated ordering system. They have videos of their food preparation process on loop to wet your whistle. Now "the" lowdown: * Ordering: Step into the future of tacos! Everything is automated. You'll need to use a kiosk to place your order. Their system isn't the best interface. The search isn't exhaustive and there are so many items. There are two ordering kiosks. The ordering system also doesn't allow for many customizations. They call you and send a text when your order is ready. * Wait Time: Be prepared to wait around seven minutes for your order to be prepared, if there's no one ahead of you. * Food: My chicken tacos were delicious. My entree was well-presented, and the juicy lime wedges are the perfect touch. Please eat them fresh, because they don't hold up to reheating at all! If you warm them in the microwave or air fryer, they turn rubbery. * Portion Size & Price: While the entrees, starting around $14 each, aren't very big the quality of the food is good. Please also expect them to shake you down pretty doggone hard for a tip at the kiosks. * Ambiance: With bright murals of The Catrina painted on stark black walls, The Day of the Dead theme is bold. It's all table service and a very casual vibe. They have an Instagram/Yelp photo wall that reads "feed me tacos and tell me I am pretty." In my big grown age, I felt far too adult to stand there and snap a pic. While that part isn't for me, I would go back.

I had high hopes when I saw the menu. Lots of interesting looking dishes. You order at a kiosk and then they bring the food to you. We ordered the birria grilled cheese, Caribbean carne tacos and a quesadilla. The birria meat was a little dry for my taste. Usually when I've had birria it's usually very juicy and dripping flavor. The tacos we ordered without cilantro but they were still covered. Not a big deal but a minor disappointment. The plantains gave a little sweet flavor, I wish there had been more.

I heard there was a new taco spot in town so I had to check it out. The atmosphere is dark as it's lit up with black lights and bright paint on the wall xso there is a really cool vibe. You place your order at a kiosk and when it's ready they bring it out to you. I had birria tacos which were very good and the consome was also good. There are no soda options for drinks, so don't expect that when you go. The service was fast and friendly and the place was kept clean I'm looking forward to going back and trying something else.

Amazing new taco spot in Concord! I placed an online order and got a text that my food was ready pretty quick! I went up to the pickup counter and my order was ready there. I ordered the taco trio because I wanted to try a few different tacos. The beef birria was amazing! It was super tender and juicy and the consume that it came with was flavorful as well. The steak al pastor was also very good. I also loved the southwest chicken taco. The tacos were also loaded up with lots of meat and toppings! Overall, the tacos were great! I will definitely come back to try more!

It was my daughter's birthday and she wanted a Birria bowl from here so I ordered also. On picture it looked amazing. Normally I would try giving chances, but I was shocked at how long it took to receive my order and it wasn't busy at all. The service was somewhat slow and there wasn't many people inside. The food was really salty and just didn't look like what I expected... I want to give this place a second chance, but I'm hoping that the food is better next time.

I read the reviews before I decided to patronize here. The negative reviews were spot on. Not sure how long they have been open but the owners need to go back to the drawing board. We opted to order online and pick up. The online ordering process was easy to navigate. When I went inside, my first impression was not that this was a fresh new business. I knew from the previous reviews that the setup was confusing. I walked in and immediately walked up to what appeared to be the kitchen/cooking/waitress/prepping/and take out area all in one. It was a mess. There was no signage to indicate protocol and no person to direct incoming guest. I see my name and grab my order. The bag was tapped closed, so I open it to make sure my entire order was accounted for. An employee walks up and asked me if it was my order, I said yes. He says, "you're supposed to give your name, can you move your bag over there to check your order?" His tone, pissed me off. Points deducted for customer service. "Over there" meant the cluttered counter/table that the 2 small tablets for incoming guest to place their own orders for dine in, the same counter where you grab napkins, utensils and numbers for inside dining. It looked a hot mess and there was barely any space for me to sit my bag to check my order. Fast forward, I get home, everything looked really good. My daughter had the bang bang shrimp tacos, she said they were good. My husband had the steak burrito. He said the flavor was there but there was barely any steak. I had the birrea tacos. They were good, not the best I've had but good. The birrea sauce was bland. I also ordered the chips/Apps Trio. It came with Pico, cheese dip and guacamole. The guacamole was chunky and acidic like it had not been refrigerated. The pico was mostly tomato, no flavor. The cheese sauce was BURNT tasting. We couldn't even eat it. Looks good in the picture, but it was obvious they scrapped the pan to save the top layer, but the burnt fumes were embedded. Not sure if I'll go back. I'm thinking they need to figure out what they are doing wrong being a new businesss with such low score reviews.

Talkin' Taco is a new option in the Christenbury area, in the strip mall with bad daddy's burgers. We came on a Thursday evening around 6 pm. Honestly, the ordering system is confusing. We walked in and didn't know what to do, we stood there for a bit because we weren't sure if we needed to be helped or whether we just go seat ourselves and our order would be taken. A young lady noticed us and advised us that we had to place our order on one of the tablets they have in the entrance (there were only two tablets). Luckily we were the only ones that walked in at the moment so we didn't have to wait, but I can see this spot getting super crowded really quick and it becoming a pain to try to order. The menu is quite a bit to go through if you've never been here before and don't know the menu, with the added pressure of people waiting for you so they can place their order on one of the only two tablets that they have. Yikes!! Again thankfully we walked in and there was no wait, but people walked in as we were ordering and I felt pressured to just get it over with. The young lady that was there was super helpful and explained the order process thoroughly, she let us know to pick a number at the table next to the tablets and put it next to my name for my order and they will bring your food to you. Thank goodness she explained the process, because again it's quite confusing. The ambiance is nice with really cute murals on the walls, this place is tiny with no outdoor seating so keep that in mind, it got super loud when a larger group of maybe just 6 people walked in. There was a line of people at the kiosk placing their orders and the place was just really loud with chatter and felt so crowded with not to many people. I would not recommend this place for big groups, the way the tables are set up I just couldn't see how they could be able to accommodate large parties. We both ordered a steak burrito I omitted the Taki and beans on mine, because eww! The burritos come with chips, I wish that included some type of dip. I also ordered the sunrise punch which was very good and mango forward! The burrito was okay, even though I requested sour cream on my burrito it didn't have any, I let one of the workers know and she brought me over some sour cream, mild salsa and some of the Avocado sauce. She walked over and asked if I would like guacamole and chips because they made extra, I thought that was nice! The steak was tender and flavorful, a tad bit salty but honestly the weren't stingy with the steak so I can not complain. Overall I'll most likely do takeout instead of dining in, the staff were polite and willing to help, the dining area and the restrooms were clean. Happy to have them in the neighborhood and wish them much success!

Food was great! It tasted really fresh. Hip little restaurant. Everything was VERY clean. All of the sauces were full and not sticky. I really enjoyed the horchata, guacamole, and chicken tacos. My mom struggled with the iPad ordering but I didn't mind lol. Would defo come back! Yall should get a location in Charlotte. My only complaint is the chips were cold. Pretty reasonably priced with generous portions.

So exciting to find something new in the Concord area. When you first walk in it is very confusing to understand how the restaurant runs. There is no one to greet you or guide you so you kind of have to figure it out on your own. I place a pick up order and there was no way to figure out where do I go since you have to order Through tablet, and there is no staff members besides the ones waiting on the tables for those who already placed their order. Stood there for five minutes, waiting for someone, but never got any help . I found my order sitting there and decided to grab it since I had my name on it. Once I went outside, I noticed some items were missing so I had to go back and findsomeone and ask for help. The place is only been open for a few weeks, but it seems like they are still very unorganized. Once I got my order, it honestly looked very awful, and the taste was pretty much close to it. The meat was really good, but the way the order looked compared to the picture to represent it did not match at all. Overall, I think I may not come back for a good few months until I hear people say that it has gotten better. I have heard mixed reviews and my visit pretty much confirmed that this is unfortunately still needing to work on perfecting their menu.

I came here on a Sunday afternoon around 2:30 and it wasn't too busy. I really enjoyed the food here! When you first walk in, the server was very nice and instructed us to order at their kiosk and they will then bring the food out to you. They have booth and chairs for seating and it's not a super large space but definitely good for groups of 4-6. They give pretty decent portions of food and it tasted really fresh! I ordered the bang-bang shrimp tacos, Mexican rice, and a sunrise punch and was so full! My friend ordered the chicken quesabirria and really enjoyed it! The sunrise punch was a little sweeter than I would like, but still really good! They have a pretty decent menu selection and I really wanted to try their Biscoff churros, but just could not find the room. I'll definitely be back!

Today I did lunch at Talkin' Tacos, and got lunch to go. I ordered Birria Grilled Cheese. It came with tomato soup and fries. The bread was done with Texas Toast and it was nice and buttery. I do wish it had a little more of a cheese pull but, the meat was seasoned to perfection! And the fries were crispy on the outside. Since this was my first time there I received assistance from one of the workers (I can't remember her name) but she was very friendly and offered guidance. Now the ordering is different because you place your order at a kiosk. All orders are made fresh so your food will always be hot. Talkin' Tacos has a funky look to it with the paintings on the walls. This is a fun place to have lunch and just kick back. I almost forgot my food was still hot when I got home, I live about 15 minutes away.

After sifting through like 20 options, just picked here and I'm so happy she did! BirriTaco is a cute and fun spot. The decor is of skulls, flower walls, and blackboards where you can write your name or a note. It's a It has a small parking lot in the back and there's also some street parking. We walked in just before 3pm on Saturday and it was fairly empty. A few other tables did come in after us but it was still pretty slow (or maybe I'm just used to the business of NYC restaurants). We were greeted and seated by Angel, who was also our waiter. He was quiet and reserved but very attentive. He checked on us frequently to make sure we had all we needed. Drinks: they have sooo many good options to choose from it was hard! We decided to go with the margarita flights that come with 4 flavors of your choice and there's a lot to choose from! We tried 6 different flavors (see pics) and all of them were REALLY good! I think the guava might've been my favorite but it was a tough choice. Food: they give u chips and salsa on the house. The chips are a little different; it's 4 big circular chips, they don't exactly taste like regular chips but I liked it. My friend had the Caribbean bowl and asked if she could get it with Al pastor instead of the meat options offered and they accommodated her request. She enjoyed her bowl but did say maybe she shouldn't have gotten the al pastor after all lol she thought the pork would've been shredded instead. I went for the tacos. I was so excited that they had chicken birria tacos cuz everywhere usually just sells it with beef which I don't eat. I also had an Al pastor taco. The Al pastor was good but just a bit dry, it was just missing some sauce but the flavors were good. The chicken birria tacos were amazing! The broth was the perfect cherry on top. The chicken was seasoned well and they had just the perfect amount of cheese. They were sooo good I had to order another one and my friend decided to order one of the beef birria tacos as well. While I don't eat beef it looked soo good! My friend loved it and it had an amazing cheese pull (see video). If I lived out here this would def be one of my favorite places! I will definitely go back whenever I come visit. While $5.25 is a bit much for 1 taco, man those birria tacos were worth every bit of it!
