Stopped by for lunch, looking for something quick, and was curious to try out this new place. I think they opened up sometime in the past month or two. Ordered the Al Pastor tacos and a soda. They were good - meaty and filling (3 tacos). $13.99. I wish these guys well, and look forward to trying others things from the menu.

We ordered six menu items and a horchata. My family liked everything, but I think the Sopes with Al pastor and Quesabirria were tops. I called to pick up and it was ready when I got there and still hot when I got home. Service was very friendly. Good value for the amount of food. We will definitely go back for breakfast. They open at 7 and conveniently located near 206/518.

Tres leche cake And you gotta try the dessert. The dessert is off the charge they even got fresh fruit, and fresh smoothie drinks.

A new lunch spot in Montgomery Township by the Princeton Airport great tortas sandwich great tacos and the tamales are excellent. You gotta try this place. They make their own pico de gallo their own salsa. Yum Yum Yum. take a fresh juice cakes, fresh mangoes you gotta come over hurry

Food is super flavorful and cooked to perfection, they are also very accommodating to any allergies, preferences or religious needs. There's plenty of seating though it is always packed and busy! Highly recommend you try their carne asada or al pastor. Their horchata is always perfectly sweet and a nice treat.

My salad was exactly what I was jonesing for and the lime salad dressing was perfect. I would say don't forget the Agua Fresca. The lime is super yummy. My teen devoured his tacos and refused to share. But from his reaction, I would say they were pretty darn good. We also always look for a place that is gluten-free due to celiac. We did have to talk to a more experienced person at the counter, but they were able to explain that They put down aluminum foil on the grill so that our corn tortillas don't get crossed contaminated by the flour tortillas. And the meat is made only on a grill with meat so you don't have to worry about cross-contamination there. We ate safely, but if you do go, just make sure you advocate for yourself and they will accommodate you.

There are 7 bar stools for counter seating, so either you take it to go or eat there (and then come out smelling like fried food). It's a local hole-in-the-wall that caters to fellow Central Americans, which is why I wanted to try the food. But alas, the food wasn't that great. The drink selection is good, though! Homemade horchata and tamarind drinks, plus a variety of canned drinks and juices, including mango with pulp. At the end of the day, it's worth a try (it's the only one like it in Princeton) but just don't expect too much!

I ordered one of the specials that used skirt steak (sorry, my Spanish is pretty much nonexistent so I forget the exact name) and it was prepared in ~10 minutes or so. I could tell it was fresh, so no complaints there! I took my food to go, and I have to admit that it was pretty challenging to cut up my steak with the provided plastic knife and fork. Granted, I'm not really sure what the solution is - it's not like they're going to give out a quality knife and fork for a take-out order. The steak was definitely tasty and tender for skirt steak, and the sides (rice, black beans, and pasta salad with a jalapeño on top) were all high quality as well. Finally, they offered some side tortillas which were decent but didn't blow me away. The whole meal was only $10, which is extremely reasonable for Princeton. Overall, I was really happy with my experience at Chapin. All of the food was good (with the exception of the side tortillas, which were only decent). I do think that the restaurant could offer a little more information on the ingredients of the specials (I had to use Google!), but I guess I could have just asked the reasonably friendly staff and he would have answered my questions :) But it's nice to just be able to read it off a menu. Anyway, I can definitely see myself coming back!

At first, walking in gave me a wave of nostalgia because it reminded me of the Olives I used to visit in New York City. While it's not the same restaurant, this one absolutely stands on its own. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich, and my husband had a kale salad loaded with vegetables and all kinds of good things like pecans, carrots, red cabbage, chick peas and more...he loved it. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and you could tell the quality of the ingredients was a priority. The pricing was also very reasonable, especially for how good the food was. We took our meals to go and walked down the street to a picnic table, which made for a perfect, relaxed lunch in Princeton. Great food, great value, and a spot I'd happily return to. There were also some really good desserts to pick from as well, but I passed them up. Pro tip... there can be a line to order your food during busy times of the day.
