A family tradition for decades. Don't sleep on the Meatball sub with cheese! Automated and efficient with a wide variety of chips and drinks ranging from healthy to pure sugar and/or caffeine. Nicest staff. Small eat in counter and huge take away business. Don't forget napkins!

Still tastes as good as it did in high school 20 years ago! Got the half Sanchez and half Phat Lady. The chicken cutlets were so crispy and juicy in the Sanchez, and the cheesesteak in the Phat Lady had great flavor. I also loved the mozzarella sticks in both hoagies. Came out quick and piping hot.

This is your classic fat sandwich you'll want to reach for during your college days, game days, drunk nights, and cheat days. At this grab and go spot, you can save some $$$ by ordering at the counter and paying all in cash. There are a couple of park benches outside, but make sure to grab lots of napkins as it gets messy fast! - Sanchez: 3/5, lots of tangy sauce, fries, mozzarella sticks, chicken tenders... and it tastes exactly what is described all mushed together. The bread however was nice and soft - Buffalo Cheese fries: 4/5, blue cheese on top, with Frank's red hot sauce. It tasted like a buffalo dip with crispy potatoes, but on this cold day the cheese solidified and it was a giant blob which made it hard to eat We got our sandwich relatively quickly. Service was fine, but the food didn't really sit well with me ://

An iconic spot in Princeton -- famous among students and tourists! They're best known for their hot sub sandwiches, which are packed with meat and fun and unconventional sandwich fillers like mozzarella sticks, hash browns, fried eggs, and more. These sandwiches are quite large, so I like to share a full one with a friend. It's not exactly the healthiest meal but it's a savory treat (though I don't think their cold subs are half bad either!) This is largely a takeout place and there's limited seating inside. You can place an order in advance for pickup as well and prices are reasonable. I'll have to give it a five just given what a culturally important place this is for me.

Got the 1/2 Sanchez sandwich. I ordered through their digital kiosk so the ordering process was simple. I was surprised though, for just about $10, this was a pretty big sandwich! The sanchez sandwich is basically fried chicken cutlet with cheesy mozzarella sticks. I think it was the first time I had mozzarella in a sandwich so that's a nice experience!

If I went to college at Princeton I'd be 300lbs.... This is what blacked out dreams are made of. The food is everything you want when you're pissed up or want to hate yourself. Think of any of your favorite deep friends apps, cover them in a heavy mayo based chipotle sauce, and stuff them in a hoagie roll. Thats what you get when you go here The service is as fast as can be. It's a little storefront with no seating and you grab your hoagies to go to eat right outside or in the car. It's always been packed when I go and everyone knows what they're there for, to be an absolute glutton.

Inside vibes. Note counter/stainless steel table. You can't get past them, making the space even smaller than years previous

Hoagie was good and a fair price. Their sauce is a little too tangy for me... I would suggest cutting the sauce amount in half.

We were seated at a table below a tree in the bar area, which is very aesthetically pleasing with a natural wood bar and industrial touches. The salmon with crispy rice was the only dish we enjoyed. The squash was terrible and smothered in mayo sauce, and even the steak was disappointing. The chicken was decent, but the multiple sauces made the flavors strange and muddled. Probably one of my most disappointing meals in recent months. Such a shame because I used to really love this place.

They only accept walk-ins. We had a fun server named Conner. He made great suggestions, especially for cocktails and food choices. We both started with their Pear Paloma-tequila, pear, cardamom, lime, grapefruit soda. It was refreshing and good. It was the perfect drink to try. We were looking to get a quick bite just to tie us over. This place came recommended by a close friend. We ordered a few appetizers. Spicy Tuna Roll- tuna, spicy mayo, masago, scallion, sambal, eel sauce, sesame seeds add avocado + $1, add pickled mango + $1 I chose the mango for a twist. It was fresh and delicious. We also ordered a California Roll- kani, cucumber, avocado, nori, sushi rice, sesame seeds. You can add pickled mango + $1 or avocado for + $1. We added the mango for a twist. It was very good. Next time I come I want to try their Buttermilk Fried Chicken Bao Buns-sriracha slaw, house made pickled cucumber, micro cilantro, asian glaze. It looked so good. There was a couple sharing our high top and they ordered several orders of these and they told us it's a must try. I would've ordered more food, but we were going to another place and I didn't want to fill up. The staff is very nice here all very friendly and welcoming. There's no children's menu. This place is a bit small so I don't recommend it for young children and it would be difficult for handicapped unless you're able to get a table outside. We will definitely be back.

Friends picked us up at the Princeton Junction train station and drove into Princeton. We had lunch at Witherspoon, one of their favorites, before heading to the Princeton University Art Museum. My friend and I shared the grilled shrimp salad, and they kindly split it in the kitchen for us. Hardly any black beans, at least in mine, but two large shrimp (one of my favorite oxymorons!) and lots of shredded romaine, topped with about half a sliced avocado. Came with a creamy dressing on the side, no great shakes to me but my friend loved it. My husband had a whole grilled shrimp salad to himself, ignored the dressing, and really liked the salad. Our other friend had 2 appetizers as his meal - lobster bisque and a poke cup that was on the menu as a tuna martini, or something like that. Cute title. Two of us had unsweetened iced tea, one had a cup of hot water. My iced tea was good, our friend got a refill of his. I'm not sure if he was charged for it but I don't think so.
