Absolutely loved my Tittle Tattle experience. The menu creatively uses children stories to come up with some tasty cocktails. My favorites were "through the looking glass," which was a piña colada and pandan drink, and the "mushu," which was rum-based, had sesame oil, Szechuan pepper syrup, and came with a freshly baked sesame seed cracker. The mushu was a great savory drink. The "through the looking glass," was good and you get a strong pandan flavor at the end, but I didn't taste anything reminiscent of a piña colada. Our bartender was so nice and gave a great background on all the drinks and made good recommendations. My only qualm was the pricing.

-Ambience 3/5 -Cocktail 1/5 -Price 1/5 Tiny cocktail, very bland and overhyped, didn't taste/ feel any alcohol in the drink at all. Skip this place and go elsewhere. $19 for 3 oz of watered down/ flavored diluted coffee cheer coke cocktail. Flavors tasted like you had a cherry coke with ice, then poured an once of hot coffee in, waited for ice to melt and serve watered down. $25 for 4 oz of watered down pina colada served with a giant ice cube. No alcohol detected at all. Like diluted pina colada wine cooler with a big ol cube. As if it needed to be diluted any further. Pretentious and stupid. No thanks.

Had the Infinity and Beyond and it was the best cocktail I've ever had. Every drink was superb and the conversation with staff (Scout & JC) was natural and stimulating. I highly recommend stopping in for a drink or several!

Came in a bit early in the night and Lloyd killed the game. Gave great background on how he created the drinks, his inspiration for the cocktails, and an overall affect that boosted our night. Couldn't recommend enough

Was the end of the night after a great dinner. So glad we found this gem. Absolutely awesome cocktails and great atmosphere.

Incredible bar. Drinks are wonderful but the vibe and hospitality is the best. Get the White Russian. You'll thank me later.

The first time, the music was extremely loud, and it seemed like they were short-staffed. The bar was completely packed, and there was only one bartender making drinks, so the wait was a bit longer than expected. We decided to give it another try, and I'm so glad we did. The second visit was amazing! The bartender working that night was incredible--she clearly knows her craft and made our drinks quickly without sacrificing quality. Every cocktail was delicious, and the overall experience was much more enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend The Coldroom. My only suggestion would be that, with a space that busy, the bar could really benefit from having an additional bartender during peak hours. It would help keep wait times down and make an already great experience even better.

They took me INSIDE. Through the restaurant. And out the other side into this absolutely fantastic hidden courtyard. Excuse me?? Why did nobody tell me we had upgraded accommodations? The back patio is one of those spaces you'd never know existed from the street. There are stone walls, greenery climbing everywhere, strings of lights overhead and some seriously cool artwork and murals. It feels tucked away from the bustle of Old Montreal and, once the lights came on, had a really warm, relaxed atmosphere. Most importantly, nobody seemed remotely concerned that a tiny Italian Greyhound had joined the dinner party. I was welcomed right in. Mum ordered the trout over couscous, which looked extremely impressive. She did give me some of the trout. Dad ordered the steak frites. I repeat: Dad ordered steak. At a dog-friendly restaurant. While sitting next to a dog. He did not share. I feel like we've covered this issue before. Dad had wine, Mum had a Diet Coke, and I spent much of dinner curled up comfortably with Mum while monitoring the steak situation. There were developments. None favorable to me. But Wolf & Workman is exactly the kind of place we're always hoping to find when traveling: somewhere the humans don't have to compromise on having a genuinely great dinner just because I'm with them. This wasn't simply "there are a couple of tables outside where you can put the dog." I got the good patio. Dogba's verdict: 5 paws out of 5. Dog welcome: enthusiastic Surprise hidden courtyard: exceptional Murals: excellent photo opportunities Evening atmosphere: Mum approved Mum's trout: apparently delicious Dad ordering steak in my presence: provocative Wine for Dad: yes Steak for Dogba: I'd prefer not to discuss it Would absolutely return. Although next time, when someone says Wolf & Workman, I expect considerably more attention to the wolf portion of the clientele.

The vibe was magnetic. Just wanna put this in your little craw: El Pájaro is the sauce. Simple spin on a daiquiri takes house pineapple rum (a mega-layered blend of 7 rums blessed with ananas for a spiky, sweet base) and adds a dash or two of absinthe before flaring it up in a shaken blaze of glory. I mean, get El Pájaro but pretend to look at the other foods because the menu is a baseball card folder with fun and funky players for each of the dranks. Food? They may not have space for much, but they have what matters -plantain chips and a panini press for as authentic a Cubano sandwich as you'll find in Montreal. Slippity slapped and was the best snack to pair with Papa Pájaro. It's Jackson's baby, but Brennan was a delight, too, sharing some insider baseball on other quirky cocktail programs in the area, including Sample (review forthcoming).
