I've visited Titus bakery twice before, both on Saturday later mornings (10 am) and they stay booked and busy! I had to wait in the entryway at first before getting to line up inside. There's a few tables on the inside but also a drive thru option. I've had mainly only the donuts, I really like the Bismarcks with all the different cream fillings you can choose from. A close second choice is a Pershing donut, with a maple frosting. You do have to get at least 7 donuts if you want a box, which it would be nice if you could order fewer donuts to be able to get a smaller box. A stop at Titus donuts is essential for the city folk who are making a road trip to Chicago! read more

Stopped on road trip as we like to try local spots. This was a must stop if you're in the area! Wasn't sure what to expect with the sandwiches as there aren't many reviews but here to say they're awesome! Fresh hoagie bread and fresh deli meat and cheese with all the toppings you could ask for! The staff was super friendly and poured us a cup of their specialty coffee as they were cleaning up- cinnamon flavor and so good! We also tried their specialty donut- the Pershing - soo delicious! We made a pit stop for lunch on our way from Chicago to Lexington, KY. First impressions? Cute place, and the smell--oh man, the smell. Like walking into a warm hug from a bakery. The donuts looked incredible, but I had to make some tough life choices. Pastries or bourbon? Pasta or steak? You get it. Priorities. We went for a half-sandwich and a cup of soup. The soup was a potato-bacon situation--good flavor, plenty of diced potatoes, and thankfully not thickened with a ton of flour or starch. But wow, was it salty. And listen, I love salt. I practically season my food like I'm warding off evil spirits. But even I had to take a pause. For sandwiches, I got the Hoagie, and my husband went with the Moovelus. Both were... fine. Just fine. We were gifted a gift certificate for this bakery and omg they are amazing! We got a variety of different donuts, iced sugar cookies, popcorn, and apple fritter. Everything was so good. I absolutely love this place. These are some of the best homemade donuts on this side of Texas! You've got to try the Persing. it's a yummy donut with a maple glaze on top! It's fabulous! You will be glad to know that you can go through the drive-through to get your donut fix. Not only do they have donuts they have cookies and cannolis. Titus Bakery is kind of a big deal, institution in Lebanon. There is always a line to pick up donuts, coffee or sandwiches at the drive-up. My daughter picks up donuts for her office mates, which makes her popular. This was my first visit. I'm not really a donut person, but I had to see what all the fuss as behind the brightly colored facade. Sweets greet you from the minute you walk in the door. There is an abundance of beautifully iced, colorful donuts and the unmistakable aromas of the bakery. The donuts are incredibly fresh. The clerk is friendly and offers suggestions. I get a blueberry cake donut, avoiding the sugary temptations. They have fresh coffee, too. The donut is light and fresh. Excellent. They also have a sandwich menu featuring Boars Head meats. Next time. There are a few dine-in tables. The dining room is old school homey and clean. The parking is complicated and tight. There is a parking lot for pick up and another lot for eat-in. Titus was a pleasant surprise! Every doughnut was delicious. The cherry fritter was wonderful not too sweet but just enough to have you come back for another bite and when that bite hits with the Cherry it takes it to the next level of yummy good. Oreo cream, banana pudding, cherry filled oh my!! lol. The doughnuts were not stale or dry they fresh moist and had a wonderful texture inside of soft moist doughy!! It wass that doughy!!! Titus is not far off of I65 and these are some of the best donuts I have ever eaten. Get some!!

The Pershing coffee and Pershing doughnut are a must! Great job Titus. Only beef would be to get rid of the styrofoam coffee cup. Truly sucks. Lid is the worse. I can't fault the quality of product but the styrofoam cup needs to go. read more

While passing through Indiana I had to stop at Titus for some donuts. Since it is a bakery, there was more than just donuts offered. I had a cookie sample and it was okay. I didn't expect much from the donuts, because they were not all that visually appealing. The donuts looked big and dry and I had zero interest in the other baked goods such as cookies or cake. The lady at the counter was nice and helpful with my carefully selected choice donuts. I bought 6 to-go and the lady was gracious enough to throw in an extra one for me to try! I started with the glazed when I got home and it was not bad. Oh boy was I surprised! These oversized donuts were wonderful and highly above my expectations. I typically don't like anything chocolate or filled when it comes to donuts. The dough was mildly dense, moist, and each one had the perfect amount of sweetness. The black forest and the chocolate cream were memorable. What I didn't eat on the first day held up very well on the second and third day by maintaining its freshness and appearance throughout. I would say the glazed was my least favorite, but I loved them all. These were great donuts at a fair price. If I an ever passing by again, I am definitely stopping by for some more donut goodness! read more

They have a drive though, but for my first visit I went inside. They have other goods besides donuts, like mugs, popcorn, cakes, and a menu board of sandwiches. They have an area with about five tables and chairs. The employees were friendly, given how busy they were too. They managed both the drive through and the front counter, with smiles and patience. It was so hard choosing what to order, but the employee who helped me answered my questions and I settled on three donuts ... The pumpkin cake donut. They had a piece of paper taped to their window announcing they've arrived, so I had to try it. And yeah, best choice of the day. The donut had the fall flavors of spice that you want in a fall themed donut. The outside had a simple sugar glaze. The inside cake was moist and and fluffy. Cake texture but lighter. This was super good and I would go back there again for this. The fried danish was a surprisingly good find! The glaze is a bit sweet and soaks into the danish part, but uhhh, that's why I went cause I wanted something sweet, ya? This was so light in texture too. The fritters are massive and you can actually see and taste the fruit. Several coffee and latte choices to wash them down. They are doing holiday cookies now and need 48 hours notice if interested. Fair warning to give yourself time in the indoor or drive-thru lines - we found that both move at about the same pace so your call! For starters, I love that Titus Bakery started in Lebanon which used to be known as a smaller town but seems to have exploded in the last few years. They now have a second location in Westfield as well (funny enough, another "small town" that has exploded with great new businesses and growth). If you go to Titus Bakery and order only one thing, let it be their oh-so-popular Pershing which consists of a cinnamon-based inside and maple iced topping. Even for us out-of-Towners, they took the time to explain what the place is most known for and talked us through the entire order. Came here pretty late and they still had yeast and Pershing donuts! I've only ever had them if someone brought them to work and they were always delicious. This was my first time getting them myself since I was passing by on 65N. It is quite the distance. Cute artwork on the building and signs. They have a drive up window to order that I didn't realize until I parked. There's a menu on the side of the building as well. They have sandwiches as well. The place was cute, finally got to stop in as Hubby sometimes will bring me an apple fritter treat. Yikes, coffee and doughnuts with no restroom? Not a wonderful combo, but there is a gas station down the road. We got two different doughnuts to split and they were awesome, of course we had to get the apple fritters to go...I'm just sorry they were not as big or "apple-like" as when I'd get them as a treat. This small local traditional donut place is a charm. Different from the major donut chain, they also have long john selection. First time I see bacons on top of a long john, very rare! I should have gotten one and see what does it taste like. I like donut, but the donuts I had in the U.S. always way too sweet, way too much sugar. I usually can only have a bit or two then have to stop, and have to drink hot tea to wash off the sweetness. The dirty nut from Titus was not too sweet, I ate it all without saying "ah, it's too sweet, I cannot eat it", so that's good. Apple fritter is purely eating sugar, just sweet, sweet, and sweet. My hubby loves it, not me. They also have sandwiches for lunch, ham and cheeses, popcorn on the menu. I noticed they even have drive through! A small donut shop has drive through, can't believe it! The more I go to Titus, the more I think it might be my favorite donut place in Indy. The staff is so helpful and welcoming even when we take forever to make up our minds. There is a huge variety of donuts including yeast, cake, bismark, fritters, danishes and their specialty- the pershing. The pershing is a cinnamon swirl donut with maple frosting. YEAH. So good. You just can't beat the winning combo of a drive thru, great staff, delicious coffee, and made-to-order sandwiches with all the toppings you could ever want. It could be the maple icing talking, but this is my favorite donut spot in/around the Indy area - hands down. The owner Terry (T-Rake), Parker, and every staff member we have encountered have ensured that our visits to Titus driving waaaaaay outta the way are totally worth it. If you read nothing else, you HAVE to get their Pershing - not a persian, a PERSHING. There is totally a difference, and the Pershing is the best thing in all of the donut having land. I also enjoy the peanut butter fluff stick, the dirty nut stick, and the maple fluff filled bismark, and another 4 Pershings. The ONLY thing that I have had here that was just meh for me was the apple fritter - but I don't like overly fried things, so take that for what it is. Of note, they serve an excellent lunch featuring Boar's Head products. They also have REALLY good flavored popcorn, Pershing chunks made in to a bread pudding-type deal, and even some doggie treats and toys designed to grab and TO GO! You can also get a pre-determined dozen including Pershings, yeasts, or a combo of both for around $15. Now THAT'S a deal! Now no trip to or from Chicago is complete without a stop at Titus. There are so many options for donuts in the indy area now. It seems like an ever growing market. I remember as a child it was difficult to find a donut shop that stayed open for more than a couple years. Usually had to get your donuts at Marsh or the gas station. I've been introduced to Titus through Yelp. Without one close by me, I had only tried them when someone at work brought in a dozen or at a couple Yelp events. Well, I finally stopped by the shop on a road trip recently. First, I was surprised by how small the shop actually was, considering all hype I hear. Kudos that they actually have a seating area though. Second, I was grateful for the abundance of staff and how quick the line went. Third, it was not made clear to me before I got to the counter what their donut options were for the day. All the donuts were displayed in the front glass counter and everyone was standing in front of it, covering it up. So I just had to go with the staple strawberry iced. It would have been nice to have a sign or menu displaying their daily options. With so many donut options now, I don't feel like Titus stands out in the crowd. However, their donuts are not bad and their service is fast. If you live in the area, you should stop by. read more
