Came here with a local while I was in town for business. I ordered the Chump Steak sandwich and was impressed. I asked for it medium, and that's exactly what I got! Nice sear and pink in the center. Came here with 3 girlfriends and we each got a different salad. I got the chicken salad salad, very large ( all the salads were) and very good! Great price! 5.99$ Nice patio, good service. Just a side note to mention. I didn't drink but my friends did and they didn't like that the draft beer came in a plastic cup. To be honest, if it were not for a group event, I would not have eaten here. If your a smoker this is a decent place to eat and drink; on the patio. However if your not this place can be off putting and ruin your experience. The chairs are for lounging not for dining, the salt and pepper shakers were visibly dirty, I saw waiters using the POS while juggling dirty dishes, and the table I sat at was not cleaned. I ordered the "wicked wing sauced" wings. These were the worst wings I have ever had. First of all, they were dry. Not just "no sauce dry" but dry as in overcooked. Most importantly, there was no flavor, not even heat. I also ordered the chili. I do have to admit, the chili was very good. The only complaint with the chili is no crackers, but If it's ordered with something else I could live with it. My daughter ordered the chicken tenders and had no complaints. I had to send my wings back and because of other commitments, I left this place hungry. The service is superb. Drinks are never left unattended and refills always arrive before needed. We had a large group (20+) today for lunch at the Miamisburg TJ Chumps and it was great. Team work was used to take and serve our orders and everything came correctly and in a timely manner. I have gone to a number of local restaurants. The food at the bar was fine but the tall bartender behind the bar was particularly obnoxious. We bought a bunch of ribs to go for a large gathering and through a misunderstanding we got the wrong food. I called them up and they profusely apologized and made up several whole racks of ribs for us to take back. They added some soups for us to try and were just awesome about the whole situation. I love all the food there and the ribs are very special. Soups are all homemade as well. Can't say enough good things about this place, they rock! read more

Chumps serves up awesome on a plate. I live in Miamisburg so maybe I am bias but by far one of my favorite places. I have tried almost everything on the menu for lunch and dinner and never not liked anything I have ordered. Servers are prompt and friendly. The place is always clean. The patio is the best on nice days. I have never had a bad experience. Get the steak wrap with a side of waffle fries and steamed broccoli. My only wish would to have more taps, but the beer selection is always good (bottle or tap) and the taps change out to offer good variety. Rockstar kick for Chumps! read more

We go in at 9:45 and as soon as we walk in the bartender yells that the kitchen closes in 10 minutes. We called before we drove up and we were told that the kitchen would close at 10:30. I'm all for people getting off on time but 1 hour and fifteen minutes before close?! I'm also confused on the two different times we were given!! Went with some guys from work. Nice little place in Miamisburg. Not real big and seems like they had lots of regulars. I had to park a block away to walk there, but it was worth it. Good food, cold beer and a nice atmoshphere...watched some NFL football on some big screens. Nice little sports bar....worth a trip. read more

Went there only once and ordered the wings. Refreshingly good wings! Very meaty, not overly fried, and well-sauced. I would prefer TJ Chumps wings over Hooters, based solely on that one experience. I also remember the curly cheese fries being delicious. They serve the fries with a bowl of cheese sauce on the side. Literally a bowl, no fear of running out of cheese. It was more of nacho cheese sauce rather than real cheese, but I like it that way. The waitress seemed to forget about us once we got our food and I ran out of water for a good while. Very cool atmosphere in downtown Miamisburg.Had a huge back patio but it was a little hot so we opted to sit inside. We ordered buffalo chicken dip and it was good but would rather have shredded chicken then the chunks of chicken they offered. I ordered the ribs and fries. The ribs were cooked perfect and fell right off the bone. I am a sauce aficionado and opted for the honey bbq to dip my fries in. The sauce was thin and had a subtle taste of honey. Very good. Overall good food and atmosphere. The seating is tight and there is only one toilet for each gender but it is to be expected with an establishment in an older building. A dining experience is all about the food and the atmosphere. We'd driven past this place for a year but didn't give them a shot until my employer advertised some kind of incentive. We stopped in on a Monday eve for wings and beer. The experience was great! Wings were good, beer was cold, and the service (Tad) was especially good. His recomendations were spot-on. We ended our "beer and wings" night with grilled salmon (awesome!) and cheesecake. Cost was in line with our expectations, service was well above... and the salmon was an unexpected treat! Well our cycling gang, the Wild Cogs, stopped in to TJ's today for lunch. Handy for us as it's only about 300 feet off the Great Miami Bike Trail in Miamisburg. Great Menu with lots of selection, salads to sandwiched to burgers. Also a nice selection of draft and bottled beers. The 7 of us each had something different, and all were well pleased. I had the Santa Fe burger off the seasonal menu that was wonderful, with onion rings (breaded not battered) which were good enough too. ( can you tell I like battered rings better?) Then we finished it off with a piece of carrot cake ( super terrific) that was big enough for the 7 of us to all enjoy!!! If we ride this trail again, we'll definitely be back! Might even go a few miles out of our way off I75 to have that carrot cake again! Unless you want fine dining, you can't go wrong here. read more

We have been going to Chumps for many years as we live in Miamisburg and like to support our local restaurants. Unfortunately the service has gone down hill such as our experience tonight where we asked that they provide a few minutes between the salad and main course ( why do you have to ask ??? ) and they did not do that , only a couple minutes and they bring the main course - unacceptable. The food used to be very, very good but has gone down lately, for example the ribs we used to love are now not as great as they used to be and tonight were served cold and not even warm ???
