My favorite tjmaxx I always find what I need here. Will say this store does have more security compared to other locations. Mostly due to shoplifters. But for the most part just wished they stocked consistently. The workers are nice here.

Fall has hit! Checking it out! Lots of good and different stuff. Fall soap dispensers and a pretty Fall wreath picked. It was busy! Safe, clean and practiced. Some workers have masks on. The worker was very nice at checkout. Wished a good day at checkout. Good service and store! Recommended!

Found the cutest casual top when I stopped in yesterday! It was marked down to $12 and had great detailing on the shoulders. I didn't recognize the label...Jane and Delaney, but I'm definitely not a fashionista! I also found some really cute flip-flops for $12.99, they were made by Rocket Dog and are super comfy. Besides clothing, shoes and purses, they also had home decor, kitchen items and linens. I'll have to stop in from time to time just to check out what's new. The store wasn't busy when I was there and I was able to walk right up to the checkout counter. Friendly cashier.

Their register is pretty neat and friendly staff

Adrian overcharged me and seemed annoyed when I asked about it. He also didn't say sorry once.

Recently went to this TJ Maxx around 8pm, the parking lot was pitch black. Not a safe environment for customers.

I didn't know what to expect as we have seen long lines some times outside especially at the Clovis locations.

Sale prices were $10 for each item (pants, shirts, dresses and shoes) The store was super cluttered and it was hard to walk through. Boys clothes were on the left and girl's clothes, bows, necklaces and other accessories were everywhere else. Everything was super cute but very pricey! A lot of shirts/pants/outfits weren't organized together and sizes weren't in order. It was really hard for me to really just look through because the racks would also be so tight. I felt quite overwhelmed with the overstock that was laid out all over the store. The lady in the store was nice. She was busy helping another customer though. The store was extremely cold which felt really nice on this hot day. The lights went out suddenly. The employee said it happens all the time... I decided to leave since I couldn't really see much. About 1 or 2 minutes later the lights came back on. I really wanted to like this store but the prices and the clutter was a turn off for me. I hope they organize, get a bigger store and lower the prices a bit. I would be back if that happened.

Remember my Living Spaces post? With a similar unexpected drop-in quality, Enter "Purpose Built."…read moreIt's located on the NW corner of Shaw and Blackstone. This location once had one of the ugliest buildings in town. Man, was that 60's, Aztec inspired building mess, dated. Now having had a Stunning remodel it IS one of the most lovely. And that landscaping! Don't get me started! Like the last posting with the living spaces, there was a completely random element that contributed to the absolute joy of this perfect day! It began with needing a hardy post-workout day breakfast. I decided to go over to Yosemite Falls. Driving closer, I discovered that there was a LARGE car show going on. In addition to the farmers market that is held there every Saturday, every space was packed. It was the same with Yosemite Falls... EVERY inch and spot to park taken, it was perhaps one of the worst days to consider eating there. I drove on by.. Upon my return home, I decided to stop in at the farmers market. Awesome within itself, I thought, why would I ever get vegetables or fruit in the store again? That good! The car show was a blast. Family friendly, it had animals, interesting vehicles from different eras and the folks attending were so friendly! As a curious person who enjoys the learning process, it was fun asking some specific questions of some of the car owners. This fun experience made me think I'd like to attend more car shows in the future! In the back corner, next to the car show, was Purpose Built. It's a large 'trades based' clothing and accessory store with a tremendous variety of brands. Like you've never seen.... Apparently, they had moved in October of last year. Still relatively new and unknown, I felt compelled to share it with you. Guys, this store is something special. Apparently they have 7 stores and an on-line store as well. Today, as it would happen, there was live music/entertainment. Yes, thankfully I had my earplugs in me pocket! VOLUME does damage! The store had rolled up their windowed, side garage door opening the space of the store up. A cool vintage 'Purpose Build truck' parked outside of it. They even have a framed/uncompleted kids playhouse structure that mimics a building site. The staff here were excellent, knowledgeable and authentic. Authenticity is always the most important part, in my book. That connection! This store had staggering array of durable clothes, shoes, belts, and accessories.. actually, some of the most guy desirable stuff! I'm checking for room in my closet. :) There was a live band performing in the store.... A big raffle going on and a bit of a carnival-like atmosphere throughout. Anyway, for those interested, we now have a great--NOT DUPLICATED--business in the city, and one fully devoted to the trades. I hope there are MORE car shows here as well. It was an apsolute blast checking out the fun just around the corner from us. A cool addition to the neighborhood. As such, both the large structure and landscaping remodel and Purpose Built are worth checking out! It's like home improvement done right for our city! And personally, I celebrate things that are NOT another chicken place, a dispensary or a furniture store! I bet you do, too! Go check them out! https://purpose-built.com/ -G
