At first we thought it was a children's consignment store. We saw racks of clothes outside of the store that were on sale. Sale prices were $10 for each item (pants, shirts, dresses and shoes) The store was super cluttered and it was hard to walk through. Boys clothes were on the left and girl's clothes, bows, necklaces and other accessories were everywhere else. Everything was super cute but very pricey! A lot of shirts/pants/outfits weren't organized together and sizes weren't in order. It was really hard for me to really just look through because the racks would also be so tight. I felt quite overwhelmed with the overstock that was laid out all over the store. The lady in the store was nice. She was busy helping another customer though. The store was extremely cold which felt really nice on this hot day. The lights went out suddenly. The employee said it happens all the time... I decided to leave since I couldn't really see much. About 1 or 2 minutes later the lights came back on. I really wanted to like this store but the prices and the clutter was a turn off for me. I hope they organize, get a bigger store and lower the prices a bit. I would be back if that happened. read more

Person who opened the store-- and who probably owns the store-- was 15 minutes late to open the store. She saw my mother and I, with my baby in the stroller, looking through the window. I told my mom that they must have gone out of town or something and forgot to put the sign out that they would be gone. The lady said "I'm here." In a rude tone of voice. My mom asked her if she was opening the store and the lady rudely responds, "yeah!" No apology for opening later than the sign shows or anything. She gave us the dirtiest look as she grabbed items from her SUV. What happened to customer services? A simple sorry I'm late, something came up would have been much more appropriate than rudely speaking to customers. We left without ever going into the store. How rude... very sad. read more

Came here all the way from Sanger to find big note on the door CLOSED!! Really I drove 50 mins plus construction on highway 99 to see a closed sign. Last time I am coming here. Yes clothes are cute but overpriced and majority of stuff and brands you can buy directly off the internet for a cheaper price. I just like seeing it in person. I was not the only one who came to see this location was closed. Many people drove up and drove away. They are suppose to be open until 6pm today. I walked in this place and could hardly walk around in there. The lady came up to me and asked if I needed help and I told her I was just looking around but thank you. Then I felt like she was watching me as I looked around the store. I felt like I had to buy something because she thought I was going to steal or whatever but everything in the store was way to over priced, couldn't even buy a little bracelet because it was almost $50 when I can go to any other boutique and get the same bracelet for $10 the most. I'll begin with the one and only redeeming quality of the place, which heavily contributed to one of the worst: the employees. Charming and as helpful as anywhere I've been they are sadly and clearly taken advantage of and hugely under appreciated. The owner displayed an almost open contempt for their best efforts in the midst of customers! As to the layout of the store, "Kid Nightmares" would be a far more accurate title. Horrendous product matched with equally horrendous prices are found in quantities and organization that call to mind an episode of Hoarders more than a retail store. I commend those who suffer through working here and can only hope they are able to advance to something better and leave this foul cesspool to its bitter end. read more

After recommendations from friends and family I thought this place would be awesome but it's a crapshoot of stuff.i felt claustrophobic the minute I walked in and the boys section is laughable. I live out of town so finally made it into the store to exchange pair of shoes,owner looked at me and said, "these were purchased in 2013" so? I know what that means? Granted it's been a year and a half and I understand not taking a return after that long but she was so rude and completely unapologetic about it.and you're still carrying the same style shoe!! Love this neighborhood store!! Always unique and special upscale clothing and gifts for children. This store has been around since my 25 year old daughter was born. However it was at a different location then. So glad it's closer to me now. Even though my daughter can't shop there anymore, I Enjoy getting baby announcements because it gives me an excuse to shop at Kid Dreams!!!They have a wonderful selection ! They carry brands you can't find at other stores in Fresno or Clovis. They take time with you and help put outfits together. We got a gift from here for our Baby Shower. It didn't really match anything, it was cute but it wasn't really anything we wanted. I went in to see if they would do just an even exchange for something else- impossible unless you have the original receipt. I totally get that for returns, but an exchange? Store credit? If there was a no star option, I would've given this place no stars. For one, the owner is an absolute hoarder/ scammer. The place is a mess and there are clothes everywhere. Where the workers work in the back, is absolutely sad. They have no room to do anything and the place looks like a fire hazard. The girls look miserable but we're a huge help for me! This older woman who works there was no help and acted as if she didn't know what she was doing and she couldn't help very much. I wouldn't be surprised if roaches infested the place or even bugs are in between each of the clothes because they look like they've been there for so long. As for the younger workers, so helpful and sweet and I feel bad they are trapped working there in that hell hole. As for the owner, rude and buys everything for cheap and sells for triple the price. I bet she buys the buckets at dollar tree then has the workers design on them and sell them for over 20. Not sure how she is still open, I went in at 5:30 and they close at 6:00 and one girl that helped me said I was the first customer. I agree that the store itself is very claustrophobic & overwhelming to walk in & look around. Almost impossible but their children's clothing is adorable & very unique, however it is expensive. This is the worst store I have ever gone to. The return policy is an absolute joke...as you cannot return anything. However, the real problem is the owner who treats customers extremely rude. Wow. I must say Jessica L., that I go into Kid Dreams on a regular basis and have returned items myself with no problem. Its just a simple matter of following their policy. Its a LOCAL boutique. Any other local boutique with my own experience has similar return policies. This children's boutique has always been more then eager to help me with anything I need. Just read all the reviews and agree with all of them except from the one in 2012; owner is rude and very unfriendly; their return policy is absurd........they have a 5 day return for exchange; never stated it has a 5 day return for a store credit; when I tried to return an outfit with a tag on it after 20 days, she stated absolutely not. I told her I bought this outfit at least 2 weeks in advance but now decided to return it since this was a duplicate gift. Owner stated they put a white sticker with a "code" on it to alert them it is a gift; she asked me where it was........I stated that I probably removed it because it looked unsightly on the tag. She said that she could not accept this return. No "sorry" or apology for the inconvenience. She never smiled. The store is a nightmare to walk into since it is crammed with many over priced clothes. I told her that I had 2 granddaughters that I could shop for but would never return or recommend this store to anyone even though I try to shop local. No customer service here! read more
