As she teaches in person classes there I make the hike from northern VA to go to King George to support one of the few local bead stores left in the area. Woman-owned and now belonging to Terry's daughter Aubrey, this is a multigenerational bead store that I hope will continue to be a long time staple and gem to the area. I love all the variety of beads to include Czech, Austrian crystal, Chinese crystals, semiprecious gemstones beads, seed beads, findings and cabs, finished jewelry, trunk shows and kits this store has. Terry and Aubrey do a fantastic job of keeping the store well stocked and great customer service everytime I visit. Spend $300 and get 20 percent off a purchase of anything regular price in the store (not part of trunk shows). The classroom is on the smaller side but it means you have a much more time getting to know fellow students and more time with the instructor. I only wish I lived closer but my wallet would be a lot lighter if that were the case.

They have the most trashy bathroom and the employees cant do anything about it unless they become construction workers. THE AC DOES NOT WORK. ELECTRICAL problems galore and they wont get any of these issues maintained . Multiple customers reported having hair almost caught fire due to faulty outlets. Etc. i could do on. Washer and dryer always breaking so stylists cant do hair, i was even told the "area manager" wasn't even a stylist. How is she/he to know whats good for a salon when they don't actually do any hair ?! Baffles me.
