Great selection of products, but slow moving lines. It has been a bit more disorganized since COVID began in the spring, but around the holidays it got better. There are greeters by the door to count how many people come in and another person to wipe down the carts. That has been very consistent and those ladies are always super nice. The women's section is pretty good. The men's section is lacking. It's always hard to find stuff for my boyfriend here. I wish they had a bigger selection of items for men. They have a lot of plant pots here in the spring and summer and they are beautiful and inexpensive. They also have a great selection of holidays snacks and gifts starting in November. Some of the cashiers are very nice, but I've had friends who were accused of switching stickers on items when they did not. The cashier did not even give her the benefit of doubt. read more

Tj maxx is always the go-to for a quick outfit or a new set of sheets. You can also find, randomly, pickled ginger in a jar, organic cookies and coffee. Himalayan sea salt is predominant. The furniture section is minimal, perhaps as to not compete with its sister store. There's a nice sized wall shelved with pillows. Im in the market for pillows but I skipped it this time. When I first moved to Long island I furnished my rooms with items all purchased here or Marshall's and home goods. Favored these stores over BB&Beyond. The clearance sections always impressed. Lately, not so much. The shoe section often has nice selection but typically not in my size and more often 2 right feet (as pictured) I didn't see much for picture frames (i was looking) but I know they rotate stock frequently Overall happy shopping !! read more

Every single time I attempt to buy something here, the line waiting and transaction takes at least 15 to 20 minutes. I don't understand why because there appears to be enough people at the registers. Some of the employees are very courteous but many or most just look pissed off at the world. You can find good deals if you look, but the organization is not great. Also, the bathrooms are downright disgusting. It's a shame because I really love this brand and all the stores under the home goods/Maxx/Marshall's umbrella, but this store is a dud and it's aggravating to shop here every time, without fail. Please someone at corporate help this store out. read more

When I was in Florida this past winter over the holidays I found out that T.J. Maxx has an amazing makeup section now in Boca Raton and the make up was neatly placed , Not broken or missing eyeshadows. When you come to the TJ Maxx in Oceanside it was disgusting lipsticks were half broken because people were using them, some other eyeshadow palettes were missing eyeshadow colors or they were crushed .Also looking through the shelves your hands get sticky because there's make up on the outside of the boxes and even on the make up pallets itself as many of the original boxes were either broken or missing. I will never shop at that store again for make up shame on the store. When I let And associate now at the register she simply said I know that's why I don't purchase make up here and I go to Macy's read more

I'm not a fan of discount department stores. This store has a nice selection of coats. Unfortunately my husband said it was too small on me. Sandy at the register was super friendly when I brought it back. The only reason I gave the store 3 stars instead of 4 was the line was kind of long when I went to purchase and long again for the return. read more

Why is Lana allowed to run a register?! This cashier is ridiculously slow & is constantly making mistakes. Half the time you are at her register, she is busy blowing her nose or listening to other people's conversations. I understand that she made need her job, but for Gods sake, put her on the floor to straighten things up. She should not be on a register. If her light goes on & I am next, I politely let the person behind me go. And then I chuckle to myself as I'm walking out the door and that person is still at Lana's station. This store far surpasses the other TJ Maxx's in our area. The store is a bit smaller but it is neat, clean and organized. The merchandise is fresh and you can see that care is being taken to keep the store in order. The employees are always pleasant as well. It is my new go to TJX. read more

This T.J. Maxx is ok they didn't have as much stuff as all the other T.J. Maxx's I've been too. Their shoe section is disappointing. It's not really organized too well and they also don't have a good variety to select from. You're better off just heading to the Marshalls across from The Sands. read more

This is a decent TJ Maxx. The store is organized and things are easy to find. They have an extensive amount of clothes there for children, adults, and teens. Since the season is changing, they had a fairly large amount of bathing suits on sale. The section with work out clothing was also pretty good. I really like to shop in the housewares department. That section wasn't as large as the other TJ Maxx locations I have been too. Yet they still had some good things for good prices. All in all a good location. I would go back. read more

If I could give this location no stars i would. I had an unforgettable unpleasant experience and will never return to this store again. I was made to feel uncomfortable and it was quite disappointing since I always liked the deals I would get from the retailer. TJ Maxx may lose a customer for life since I don't believe they care much about real customer service and that is enough for me. I paid cash and the manager felt it necessary to announce very loudly that he had to make sure my money wasn't fake. Really? Well I stayed calm but was irritated. When i was trying on the dresses I chose to buy before leaving the fitting room the attendant chased me down before I could go pay to tell me she had to make sure all the tags were still on the clothes. NEVER has that been necessary anywhere I have ever shopped. It was bizarre and weird but i liked all the items so I bought them anyway but I knew this was ridiculous behavior. read more

BAD SERVICE! My wife and I saw a girl and her friend yelled at by a jewelry cashier today. The clerk was slow for them and when the girl got annoyed the clerk wouldn't ring her up and give her change. the cashier made a bunch of snide comments and tried to scare the girl with security and the manager while refusing to give the girl her change making me have to wait 20 mins for my wife while the idiot cashier kept us all waiting on line while the manager fixed everything...Fail..There are better TJ Max read more
