I had my baby with me in a carrier, and from the moment I walked in, I felt like I was being closely watched. While I was in the dressing room trying on clothes, I was talking softly to my baby to comfort her. The employee stood right outside the dressing room and was giggling at what I was saying, which made it very clear she was listening and hovering nearby. Instead of feeling like a customer, I felt like I was being monitored, as if there was concern I might steal something. And then as I came out of the fitting room and let her know I didn't find anything and thanked her, she went straight into the room, I have no doubt to make sure I didn't steal anything. As a mom just trying to shop with her baby, this felt really discouraging and unwelcoming. I left feeling uncomfortable and out of place. I hope the boutique can work on creating a more inclusive and respectful environment for all customers.

When trying things on she urged us to be careful with the dresses as if saying they wouldn't fit and then allowed absolutely no kind customer service to shine through in our interaction. While we could hear her interactions with other customers as sub par customer service, we were disappointed by how she acted towards us considering we are frequent customers. This was a very unfriendly experience and environment and I hope nobody else has an interaction like that!

Though I didn't get them, I tried on loads of clothes while my husband had a long and extremely enjoyable conversation about music with the absolutely wonderful sales clerk. Truth be told, all of the brands I tried on are national and could be gotten anywhere but I did end up with one pair of pants at a great sale price. They had beach and outdoorsy themes that were perfect for what I was looking for. They also carry women's and men's clothes, jewelry, knick knacks, candles and other gifts. The assistant manager rushed me out of the store even though I made a $440 purchase. She shoved everything in a tiny bag and said we had to go. I went on a business trip, used one outfit and then when I got back and tried to return the other (unworn, with tags) she said it'd been 3 weeks and couldn't return or even get store credit. She never mentioned that short policy during checkout even though she knew I was on the fence about that outfit. If you want bad customer service and a two week return policy this place would be great for you. Otherwise, don't shop at this place.
