I've been to this TJ Maxx location a handful of times over the years, and it's definitely one of the larger ones I've visited. I usually end up walking most of the store because I always seem to find something I didn't come in for. I can honestly say I've never left this location without making a purchase. I tend to visit more often around the holidays, and one thing I really appreciate is that they bring on additional staff during that time. Unlike some retail stores where checkout can easily take 10 minutes or more, the wait here is usually just a few minutes, which makes a big difference when the store is busy. I do not want this review to be fueled by emotion but in honesty.. there is no other way. I came to purchase a purse. Nothing too expensive as I do that online. I was literally CURSED OUT by a customer, who was not wearing a mask, who told ME to keep my A$$ AT HOME if I was scared of catching COVID. I said nothing to this lady. she kept cursing to the point where I turned around as asked ... are you talking about me? I did not speak to her until her curse rants seemed personal. She said yes and then directed her profanities to me. I put down all my items and left. I am not trying to be on CNN beating down this chick. Ladies, if you have a hair weave, all we need to do is grab that weave, snatch you to to ground and start kicking. IJS I will NEVER enter this store again. No one from mgmt intervened. UPDATE: so official word from TJ Maxx is they require masks but can't enforce because customers curse at them just like they cursed at me. i said I understand and may all your stores be full of cursing customers just like that. This is a solid TJ Maxx. I was surprised to see a YSL bag there. The jewelry section is reasonably priced. I like coming here when I am in the area, even if it's too browse. Great selection on quality goods! The store is also very organized which is good. read more

I really like this T.J. Maxx. It's smaller than other locations however the selection is solid and the store is VERY organized. I specifically went in looking for khaki shorts. I ended up with khaki shorts, another pair or shorts, and 3 swim suits. Although the selection was solid there were only a few sizes for each item. The swimsuits had nice brands - I settled on an aerie, J.Crew, and athletica swimsuits. The swim suits were kind of high - the last two 39.99 - but then again it's #swimsuitseason. I also got to peak at the girls section. A lot of Justice (shirts, tops, swimsuits). Ironically I was at the outlet in January and purchased a lot of Justice items that were in T.J. Maxx. I guess there stock is kinda in date. It wasn't crowded - but it was a Monday. Store associates very friendly. I'd definitely be back. I like the little shopping center also. read more

I shop WAY too much at TJ Maxx and Marshall's stores. Man. If I could just avoid going in, I would save a lot of money. This is the TJ Maxx closest to my home. The store isn't always the tidiest, but they have alot of good stuff. I always ended up a lighter pocketbook. OK not really cause I pay with card. But you get the point. I usually go in for just a few items and end up with a cart load of things. And I waste way too much of my afternoon there. lol. So overall, a good shopping experience. read more

I wanted to have a good experience coming into the store to get a new outfit for work and I was met with absolute rudeness from a worker called Glenda. she rushed me when I asked where the shoes were and gave me a look like I wasnt even a person, almost glaring at me? I was so frustrated that I didn't even want to buy anything anymore, management needs to do something about her because I don't take blatant disrespect lightly.She also mumbled something under her breathe that sounded like a curse word but I couldn't hear it well. very unhappy. read more

I finally figured out what it is about this store that leads me to travel to Buckhead Loop instead of this location, which is much closer to my home. The interior is dimly lit. There's not enough lighting throughout the space, so it feels kind of depressing. The small layout is also a factor. It feels tight in there. I have never met such a rude and racist manger, as I did tonight. I spent over two hours in the store picking out items for my vacation, when I got to the checkout I realized I had left my wallet at home. I asked if they accepted Apple Pay and was told no they only accept Samsung pay. The kind cashier told me that I could put the items on hold, come and purchase items tomorrow. As I was trying to put the items on hold the manager came up and began "barking orders" at me, as if I were a child. Her racism was apparent from how she spoke to me, to how she spoke to other African Americans(complete 180 degree difference). The manager was so incredibly rude that her employees actually apologized for her behavior. Long story short, she decided, last minute, that I couldn't place anything on hold because I had a couple of items of clearance. If someone from the upper management team at T.J. Maxx reads this, I hope you investigate her. She is a terrible example to her employees and a terrible representative of your company. This event happened on February 6th, 2018 @ 7pm. read more

This location is so bad I almost broke my iPhone, luckily my couch broke the impact and the fall. Does anyone there actually love or at least pretend to want and help a customer? As far as customer service goes it's definitely the worst. I should have read all the ratings at this location before wasting my time and money. If I could rate 0 stars I would, but I settled in taking my business elsewhere. Save yourself the trouble, headache, money and "Shop Online"............For those employees who don't care. keep up with the I don't give a crap about a customer or your job and eventually, your customers will shop online. This TJ Maxx is one of my favorite locations, and also conveniently located very close to my house. It is a little smaller than typical TJ Maxxes, but the selection and variety is exceptional. Their skincare and makeup are absolutely terrific, especially their clearance. I can (and sometimes do) spend hours just looking there! Some of the brands they carry include Milk Makeup, Bliss, L'oreal, Elizabeth Arden, and Burt's Bees. They also have beauty tools like eyelash curlers from Tweezerman, brushes from Wet, and hair dryers. Their haircare section pretty much stays the same, with shampoo, scrunchies, combs, and other hair accessories. The bag section is great but really depends on what time of year you are visiting. I don't typically see a lot of clearance in this section, but I did notice a few brands such as Vera Bradley, Adidas, lots of Michael Kors, and I think I saw a few Coach bags once. The shoe section is amazing--I saw a pair of $29 white Coach sneakers once! Along with that, they carry Nike, lots of Adidas (especially the court ones), Converse (mainly white and black, low tops only), Unisa, Dolce Vita, and Kate Spade flip flops. The socks for women are also closeby, and in the winter/fall they carry fuzzy socks and some are even infused with aloe. Their athletic socks are brands like Under Armour, Adidas, and New Balance, and their everyday socks are brands such as Kate Spade. The clothes section has plenty of steals, but the only negative thing is that sometimes there are just too many clothes to rustle through, and gives an overwhelming vibe. The junior's section has a ton of sweaters and cardigans during the fall/winter time and some jeans. They carry brands such as Hollister, American Eagle, Ivory Ella, Vintage USA, Lilly Pulitzer, and the occasional Champion crewneck sweatshirt. The women's jeans section is a must to stop by, especially their clearance during the winter. I have seen some $8 Lucky Brand skinny jeans there! They also have a pretty nice selection for Activewear, with tons of black leggings (with pockets!), active tops, and sports bras. Most of the brands include 90 Degrees by Reflex, Yogalicious, Adidas, Champion, Under Armour, and some more brands from department stores like Macy's and JC Penney. The swim section normally is up around spring to early fall, but I have seen the occasional swim separate lying around. The food section I personally don't visit too much, but I've heard they have a lot of healthy snacks and unique finds such as macadamia nut milk and pea protein milk. They also have Ghirradeli chocolates (the large kind) for only about $7! The houseware/general area has lots of great finds, and I have seen brands such as Simply Southern, Vera Bradley, Rae Dunn (tons!), Clementine, and Scentsational for candles. They also have very nice blankets for under $20 (Kate Spade, Calvin Klein Home, etc). The kids' section can be a steal too! I have seen brands from Nike, U.S. Polo Assn, Calvin Klein, Under Armour, btween, Nautica, and the occasional Vineyard Vines. I've found a pleated skirt for just $6 in the kids' clearance that fits me! They have a pretty good selection of underwear and socks for both boys and girls, and the lunch bags/sports bags are located right next to the wall. They carry brands like Nike and Adidas. The men's section has a large array of socks, activewear, and personal care items. They carry athletic socks from brands such as Nike (6 pack for $10 I believe), Adidas, Under Armour, and Columbia. They also have cozier, more formal socks from Calvin Klein, U.S. Polo Assn, and more. The personal care shelf has Old Spice deodorant, face wash, men's shampoo, blackhead removers, and I have even found a misplaced Acure shampoo for $4! The staff and cashiers are extremely friendly and helpful in this location. They go out of their ways to make the customer's day feel better, and I really appreciate that. For health and safety measures, masks are mandatory (I have seen some people wearing them wrong, which is quite annoying), the cashiers have plastic protectors, everything is socially distanced, and I have seen employees wiping down shopping carts. Along with those measures, they sanitize the checkout stations after each customer with an alcohol-based cleaning spray. Overall, this location is one of the best in the area, and I will definitely be spending more time after the pandemic! In the meantime, I am mainly browsing the online website for those deals. read more

I do not understand the customer service at this store. I purchased two items on tjmaxx.com and decided to return both items in the store. I purchased a pair of shoes and a handbag. I had both shipping receipt for both items and both items were un worn with tags and box. The shoes was returned with no problem. I was in tjmaxx for over an hour trying to return the handbag. Sharonn the assistant manager was helpful in the return if one item was able to be returened then other should as well. The return policy really needs some work. Shopping at a store suppose to be stress free but to return a item is extremely successful. And a customer should never have to feel like that. I know this company doesnt care but this is my last time ever buying anything with this company. read more

GET INSPIRED! This may be a small Maxx but it has great customer service on the floor and at the registers. i appreciated being checked out in a timely manner, especially during the lunch hour. That would never happen at MY local stores! Also, it was very nice being asked if I needed assistance during my visit. I didn't and was able to find the organizer that I needed at a great price. It had seen one a couple of days ago but it was very cheap and more than double the price at $40. No Thanks! While there, I was really inspired when it came to the holiday home decor and ideas for the perfect stocking stuffers. Definitely recommended! read more

This TJMAXX sucks. The merchandise looks like second-hand rejects from the clothes the other TJMAXX stores didn't want. I can't help feeling like that since I have to go to the buckhead or Howell mill locations to find decent clothes and sizes. Shame on you, TJMAXX if that's what's going on because that forces me to take money out of my own neighborhood and fortify others. The service is okay but the clothes are disgusting! read more

This location sells fake colognes and perfumes. I wasn't expecting the highest quality of goods, but at least offer the consumer a legitimate product. Shopped here before, great store, but I felt it needed to be addressed. Thank You read more
