Absolutely atrocious lead vendor please do NOT invest in TJ Telemarketing... I paid $1,050 ($42/lead) for exclusive telemarketed health insurance leads and promised a minimum of 5 qualified leads per week. It has been 5 months and I have received less than 10 total leads and every single lead has been an unqualified candidate. (mostly medicaid/medicare) Paul promised high quality and consistent volume but clearly cannot deliver on the promises made... DO NOT INVEST IN THESE LEADS!!! read more

I regret having ever hired TJ Telemarketing, as TJ Telemarketing and owner Mr. Paul Scheidler have failed to deliver on their promised services despite my polite and professional attempts for them to deliver the services purchased. Running a successful company myself for 34 years, I now am unfortunately having to take my valuable time to filing a dispute with my credit card company (Wells Fargo) to obtain a refund from TJ Telemarketing for $1050 payment made from my Wells Fargo account which the merchant has failed to deliver on. As per my initial discussions with owner Paul Scheidler of TJ Telemarketing and as per their website tjtelemarketing.com, I was informed I would be provided with 5-10 leads weekly, that is business contacts who agreed to talk to me about my professional insurance services. After 8 weeks from my initial payment of $1050 to TJ Telemarketing I have received a total of 4 contacts, which is far less than 1 lead weekly (not the 5-10 leads weekly promised). Understanding it may take 2-3 weeks for TJ Telemarketing to get my order started following receipt of my payment, that's still less than 1 lead weekly. Of the 4 contacts received, one was unreachable despite my ongoing professional and courteous efforts to contact them by phone, email and fax, two didn't want to discuss my insurance services, and one was the employee of an already existent covered business client. My contacts to the owner Mr. Sheidler have yielded no results. read more

I have had very great success using Paul's system at TJ Telemarketing. In my particular case, I prefer the "hourly" calling to specifically target small business owners, Vs the "per lead" system. Paul has done a good job to visit with me one-on-one with a tailored script that has worked well for me to put me in touch with some high-quality people. Also, hats off to Paul's crew - I get a lot of compliments from new potential clients who say the whole reason I'm on the phone with them is that TJ Telemarketing callers were really friendly and professional. After trying things out with smaller orders, I was satisfied where things were going and how they worked and am now committed to ordering about $4,700 worth of "calling" time every 6 weeks. Some will complain, as with any "lead" program, but let's be honest, not all agents following up are bringing the same skills to the table. RIP-OFF!!!!!! I am an financial advisor and have worked with many different LEAD generation companies. With some I have had great success and some I have had little success. But TJ Marketing is by far the BIGGEST rip-off/scam in the LEAD generation industry. They are the poster child for giving LEAD generation companies a bad name. I purchased a sizeable order from them in which they promised to pre-qualify the business owner(s) desiring info. for retirement solutions. In 3 out of every 4 LEADS given to me, the business owner(s) specifically said they "did not want to be contacted". This trend happened over and over again. I can't express enough how much a waste of my time and money it was to try to partner with this unprofessional and unreliable LEAD company. Very poor customer service. I am a life insurance agent with over 40 years in the business who has been using leads for the last few years. Even though they talk a good game, I feel that their leads were expensive for the quality. A full 20% to 25% of the leads told me that they had not given permission to be called and had no interest in life insurance. When I requested replacements, they said that they listened to the calls and refused to do anything. Since another 20% to 25% were not good prospects (which I would expect), that made the few good leads very expensive. You can get better leads for less money! read more
