We were waiting for help in the Jewelry section, went to ask for help. We had been waiting for awhile. When I approached Edith C and told her we had called for help and no one had came to help. Edith rudely asked who we talked to, I told her it wasn't my job to figure out who I spoke to exactly. I said someone in the front. Then she rudely said it wasn't her job to read my mind and see if I needed help. As a person who works in retail, I understand the frustration of the busy holiday hours. But it's unacceptable to be rude to customers. And as a grown women, Edith needs to work on improving her customer service interaction skills. read more

I normally don't visit hodge podge stores. They remind me of thrift stores where everything is everywhere. I like these stores for bedding. This store had a wonderful selection. From different brands to several color choices of bedding. This location has a small variety of different bedding textures and brands. Different colors to choose from, a person could find what they're looking for here, but probably won't. Selection is too small. Clothing sections by first glance way too messy. I never understood how people can pick through a mess and find what they want or what they need. This type of shopping experience is not for me. read more

I shop at tj maxx several times a week and just moved to the Fontana area. This is by far the worst tj maxx I have ever walked into. The store is a mess and is so unorganized. The floors and store is not maintained and is dirty. Don't waste your time. I'd rather drive 30 minutes to another location then come here again. read more

Management was rude and unprofessional. I came in to inquire about their job opportunities and I was brushed off by the manager on duty, he was acting very immature, left me with a horrible impression of the stores management & it's no longer a location I'd want to work at. He was in a great mood laughing about with another employee and as soon as I came close he acted so irritated and was saying everything he could to clearly just get rid of me, even the other girl was trying to nicely answer my questions and he'd cut her off to get rid of me as soon as possible. Until recently I've had a positive outlook at this Tj Maxx, I recently went on a little shopping trip when I was at the check out and received extremely rude customer service from the worker Lizbeth. I'm not sure if the previous costumer had set this girl off but she took out her attitude on me because the whole check out process was extremely uncomfortable. Hope that Tj Maxx can train their workers to better control their emotions. I live it this TJ MAX. It's organized, staff are friendly. One time I went almost when they were about to close and they still let me look around quick. I did buy so wasn't like I wasted I'm there time I think. Got kitchen items, car charger, couple other items. Feel like they have better quality then other places, marshals, Ross, Burlington. I like how I see staff usually always cleaning/ sanitizing carts, counters. Great place to shop for quality-items. read more

I went looking for shoes they have a mess. The only shoes I found that fit where worn. It wS very noticeable they were used and returned. I really liked them so I asked the evening manager an elder African American woman if I were to purchase them would she give me a discount. She could have just said no and I would have been fine, but what she did was rude, ignorant disrespectful insulting humiliating she went out of her way to insult me she mocked me she told a poor young man who you could tell was afraid of her look come here in a stern voice do you see anything wrong with these shoes you don't don't you I said you don't do you and she went on and on there was no need for that I have contacted corporate. read more

I recently moved here and was excited that this location was 10 min from where I live. I decided to check it out and had such high hopes for this store but I was extremely disappointed. It was a total MESS it was so unorganized, a lot of the packaging on products were half open and they have the smallest selection of make-up, skincare etc . I love the staff in this store when you walk in they greet you every time. This store is right by my gym so I usually do my warm up in here. The jewelry section is very awesome. I did the survey and complained about the girls shorts being too short that they need a variety. Two weeks later they had several longer styles available. Talk about customer service. The sales people on the floor always greet you with a smile. I have been to at least 7 TJmaxx's and this one is always organized and clean from the dressing rooms to the bathroom well done guys. read more

I went into this store today because I wanted to buy some shoes. Now I never write reviews unless something was very unprofessional or made me feel absolutely uncomfortable. I hate pulling the race card I really do, so I'm just going to tell my story and I'll let you decided. I have a two hour split shift so I usually shop during those two hours before heading back to work. I've found a lot of shoes for good prices in this store, but today I've realized I won't shop anywhere with or associated to this place. I'm trying my shoes on and this lady from out of nowhere comes and ask do I need any help? I thought of it as nothing until after I see her speak into her microphone then run to the back. Then didn't ask anybody else she walked pass if they needed help. I hate shopping as is already because of my skin it's annoying already. I know this sounds miniscule which is problematic to explain because this is my own subjective information from my own experience. I have worked in retail before so I'm pretty sure I know what was going on. Just sucks that I looked that suspicious with my Chinese food bag and work badge. Why would I be walking around with my work badge with the information from my work place on it, if I wanted to steal? Just annoyed, do better, and stop profiling because skin color doesn't mean shit anymore.
