Urban Outfitters is one of those cool stores which I can very easily get lost in. Yes, they have clothing, but I come here for the books, the vinyl records and all things from yesteryear. It reminds me of Zia Records in Phoenix, AZ. We stopped in after visiting Paul Martin's HH across the street. Very good btw. I'd describe Urban Outfitters as a mass produced thrift store copycat that costs WAY more. Yesterday I stopped in to take my nieces and nephew (ages 16 - 23) and I almost bought a purple and turquoise Diadora t-shirt because the color scheme looked dope and not many people remember Diadora tennis shoe brand from the 80's/90's. I decided not to buy it because even though it was brand new, it looked like something I'd donate to Goodwill and the price they were charging was too much for a retro shirt. The Victoria Garden's store looks like it needs to be updated and isn't as inviting or intriguing as other U.O's I've been to. Things are spread out all over but there's not much to look at? The people that work there look like customers shopping there so it's hard to find or ask for help. Both of these stores are way overpriced and there was a place for them maybe five or ten years ago, but like many other stores the merchandise you find there is just not worth the price they are charging. The overall selection of Urban Outfitters is nothing special and certainly nothing worth paying double in some cases that you can find elsewhere. trash customer service. Sorry to say, People save yourself the time and energy into walking into this Location.My experience was horrifying. I had entered with a drink and as i was getting rang up a cashier questioned me about my drink and also spoke to me in the most unbelievable way. I couldnt help but to spite back and defend myself. Cashier stated drinks aren't allowed.Yet in the main entrance and waiting also a UO employee seen my drink in my hand beforehand entering store and did not question me nor did she make a comment about no drinks allowed. I couldn't help but to crumble my receipt after it was printed.I now understand no drinks were to be allowed under the premises but that is definitely no Absolute reason for this bimbo (male) employee to speak to me in a uncalled for way. Man I used to work for UO in Santa Monica. This store layout is cool but......The representative who checked me out didn't take the security tag off of one of my pants. She also was presenting a very low energy and shopping experience. I had to go back to the store to resolve this issue. I walked out of the store when I purchased the product and the security alarm sounded, but the representative did not even look in my direction. Also when I entered the store after the purchase, the current representative didn't even look at the door when the alarmed sounded off. Please update your staff on LP protocol. read more

Stopped in to do some last minute Christmas shopping and found a few things that I wanted to purchase. The store is clean and organized and the employees I interacted with were friendly & helpful. I ended up getting a discount for being part of their mailing list so that was cool. Their return policy is nice, I had to ask because I know some stores are strict with the timeframe with after Christmas returns, but the employee was able to give me the timeframe right away. I wandered around before making my purchase and they have a decent sale section and their men and women sections were clean and organized. read more

The staff is always nice when I've gone in. I'm surprised to see people say otherwise. Maybe some people aren't the target demographic and feel out of place, who knows. Selection isn't always amazing given the size of the store but you can order anything online through them so doesn't always matter. My only comment is their phone use or lack thereof. I zoomed over after work to make an exchange for an outfit that I need tomorrow, arrive at the store at 8:20, and the doors are locked! The employee inside said that they were closed, but the posted hours for the store say it closes at 9pm. Horrible customer service!! I was out of town and came here to exchange some items I bought for rolling loud because it was completely freezing and I just wanted a sweat suit. While shopping I was never acknowledged or greeted all the workers were just standing around the register doing absolutely nothing. When I got in line the Asian guy at the register had a attitude for no reason and I can tell he was getting irritated as I was trying to get my receipt in my email. Then he proceeds to tell me that he can't do the return because of a smell mind you I've never worn these clothes and bought them like 3 days prior so idk what he was talking about. Damn it.. I got sucked in! I did it. I paid, probably over paid for a lot of things, but at least it was on sale?! I'll admit it, I love the styles Urban Outfitters offers. The price tag may not always be appealing, but I do love to spoil myself from time to time. This weekend I scored since the sale items were an additional 50% off. I got some BDG tanks that were originally $16, for $2.49! That's like 2 1/2 items from a dollar menu. And all of their jeans were on sale for $39, whereas the original price was $54-64! I got two pairs. And to spoil myself furthermore, I got myself a pair of Jane Aldridge peep toe, suede heels in black. And trust me, they are comfortable for being heels. But these heels do have a story to talk about their service at UO. I tried on my first pair of heels, 7.5 and realized that my left foot fit perfectly. WEIRD, cause I'm definitely not a 7.5. BUT my right foot was too big. Super kawawa. Then I tried a 7, and the right foot fit perfectly, but the left was too loose. Turns out, they mislabeled the heels! Not sure if it was a packaging problem or employee of UO problem at that store. Nevertheless, the case was solved thanks to the employees there :D read more

Damn it! How much do i have to pay to make it look like i don't care about what i look like? Despite my excessive complaining about the apathetic hipster lifestyle, this store has the most darlingest clothes, and sometimes I will find myself spending a near $300 for a few man cadigans and couple witty tees. Plus, I always find stuff in my size. Thumbs down to the indie-culture, community college staff who give scathing stares at you when you sift through the pristine pile of jeans they just folded. Also, the lighting in the dressing rooms is hellish in that the uncovered lightbulb hanging directly above your head will excentuate every unwanted curve and make you look like a whale. Thumbs up for the chachkis available for purchase throughout the store. Definite thumbs down to the prices though! I only frequent this place because it's the closet Urban to where I live, and I like to imagine myself looking halfway decent in the cute clothes they have there. As expected, most items at Urban are pretty pricey. Sometimes you can find a decent piece on sale, but rarely, in my opinion. I'd really love this place if more of the employees actually cared about their customers. Most of the time I'm greeted by blank stares and I feel like I've walked into some elite club that I'm not a member of. Not all employees are bad, but it's the general vibe that I get. I ordered shoes on a Sunday evening, and due to needing them for my daughter on Friday, I paid the extra to get the shoes delivered in three days.... I get a shipping notice on Tuesday saying I would get them on Wednesday. Thursday afternoon I get a notification that they would be delayed. This is a day AFTER they were supposed to be delivered. We revived them Friday night and this was after we had to make other arrangements for the show my daughter was in!!!!!! Yes I called, stayed on the line for 45min hung up as I was at work. Within a few minutes someone in that store accessed her Urban Outfitters online and attempted to order things and tried to have them shipped to another address. BEWARE!!! That's what I'm here for... to inform you all that this is one of the best Urban locations I've ever been to. Yes, the store isn't as big as the Pasadena or Melrose location, but the employees are actually interested in helping you have a better shopping experience. And as all of you know, coming across nice associates at UO is about as rare as finding a cute dress for under $20 here. This is one of the larger UO locations I have been to. I was looking for a few specific things for the transition from summer to fall and made a move for UO after having lunch. The hubs and spent about an hour walking around and looking at our options. He surprisingly found a few things he liked despite the fact he hates shopping and isn't too keen on buying stuff for himself. This gave me the opportunity to really check out all the things that caught my eye. I was surprised that they had so many records too, it has been awhile since I've been to a UO and it's cool to see retro technology making a comeback. I found a few pairs of boots that have made themselves cozy in my closet, a few shirts and a few items from the sale area. A free people dress in my size, the only one of its kind and at over 60% off original price. I also bought a few pairs of adorable ballet flats. Filling in the gaps to get me through the winter. I love Urban Outfitters. I love the fashion. I love the style. I love the books. I love the accessories. The one thing that is preventing me from giving them five stars is the price. A lot of it is very pricey. However, that usually doesn't stop me from actually buying things there. It is VERY disappointing, however, to buy an item at full price, and then come back to the store about 3-4 months later and find that the item is now on clearance and about 40-50% cheaper than the original price. First of all, this Urban is very small compared to most stores (at least the one i'm accustomed to in Old Town Pasadena) BUT they have a fairly good size sale section. They had a good amount of shirts, skirts, purses, shoes and two full racks of pretty dresses, my favorite! The lack of stars for my review is because of the snooty brunette that was stationed in the dressing room. She refused to utter one word to me (expect an attitude filled "oh") to make me feel welcomed (great customer service, eh?) but she also continued to give me rude stares when I asked for help. Plus one star for pretty much everyone else that worked there and the selection of clothing at this location. Stopped in today 2/5 to check out some cutie items I saw online and needed to have for a trip. This store was dead when I stopped in around lunch time. The staff was really friendly for the most part and greeted me as soon as I walked in. I browsed around the whole store and finally came across all the items I was looking for. I did ended up having to get a skirt online since they only had a size L in store and a belt I was obsessing over as well. I was bummed about having to order the belt online since the store had so many in stock but every size S I looked at was damaged. The girl who checked me out was less than friendly and didn't utter a word the entire time she rang me up. Awesome store love the clothing however I can't say that for the Mangement ! I went in the store tonight and I was supposedly standing in the wrong line . " The line is over there sweetie " she tells me. I asked again where ? And she replies over there . I then say "oh you mean the resister directly behind you " and walked away. I believe this lady was the manager on duty . Red hair up in a bun and glasses. After I stood in line I watched her leave the register and read her clip board and go to the fitting rooms.
