Do go here - take negative reviews with a grain of thought: Unfortunately with avenues like Yelp, oftentimes people only take the time to review when they're frustrated and those who are satisfied don't think to review. This, & all of the TLCs in town, do what you pay for. I've had a monthly membership for over 2 years - none of the reviewers you see have spent as much time & $ as I have - and I'll say there is no reason not to go here. Oil changes, inspections, car washes - all are to my expectations and what I pay for. Does my car look showroom clean? No, but I paid $10 for a 4-minute car wash. To expect more would be ignorant on my part. Why only 3 stars? 3 stars is what I expect; 4 stars means I got more than I expected; 5 stars means I said, "Wow"!at least once. read more

DO NOT USE THIS CAR WASH!!!! You have now been warned. There is not soap used. There is no pre-spray or quick brush down to the grill of the vehicle or anything. It's a waste of $10. Yup, I hate to say it but TLC must stand for something else besides tender loving care. TLC has multiple locations in Fayetteville and a Hope Mills. I'm a fast pass user at any and all locations. I must admit, the location in Hope Mills is much better than the near Lowes here on Raeford. I would also suggest, if you're in the area of Ramsey, that location is great. I continue to use TLC for convenience... that's it. It's much like MiCasita here in fayetteville. They are the o it show in town that is easy to get to. I hope that get their act together. The customer service is below par and to be honest anyone there doesn't seem to really care about their job. read more

My Car: 2010 Black Mazda 3 Price for what I got= 0 Wash process=0 Cleanliness of car post was=0 Vacuums=0 If I could give this car wash a zero I would. We visited this car was in a Sunday morning. The girl that helped me chose a wash was helpful...but that was about it. I bought the most basic car wash (about $6) and paid extra for my rims to be cleaned ($2). When my car went into the tunnel I noticed three major things during the wash process: 1. There was NO soap/suds. If was like car was just being washed with water. 2. It reeked of mold. Yes. My husband and I could smell it from inside my car. 3. The tools were raggedy and the shammies looked like they use to be blue, but had black dirt (maybe mold?) all of it and were shredded. This was the kicker...when we got to the end, the price I paid did not include my car being blow dried or dried with shammies. But wait...THERE'S MORE!!, lol. My car was still dirty, just wet!!! When we parked to use the use the free vacuums and dry off my soaking wet car with a towel I had, three of the vacuums we had tried had little to no suction. It could barely get the dirt out of my car mats. A car that entered after us pulled up next to us and he also expressed displeasure. He said he's never been to such a sorry car wash. I've been to two other TLCs; one on Skibo and the one further south on Raeford across from East Hoke Middle school. Both are like car spas compare to this TLC. You've been warned. read more

Be honest, provide the service that was paid for and you would do well. Had an oil change two days ago and asked if the fluids were topped off along with air pressure for the tires. I was told it was part of the service. While paying, asked if everything was topped off and told by a different employee that it was as annotated on the receipt. Taking an opportunity to teach my son how to check the air pressure, we examined the tires in TLC's parking lot, right after they had completed the job I paid. Receipt stated all tires were at 35 psi. The first 2 tires we checked were at 30 psi and the third one was at 15 psi. I went back in and asked the same mechanic that worked on the car if the air was checked. He stated the tires were checked. I mentioned the tire at 15 psi at which time he made an excuse that the hose didn't reach the tire and asked if I could pull into the next bay. Really???? So, they would have been good that we left with one tire at 15 psi? Overlook something and own it, we'd be okay. Lie to me and make an excuse, it is a character and culture issue. The excuse that followed didn't sit well with me. I sent an email to TLC with no response at this time. I have supported TLC previously through business and purchasing coupons in support of school fundraisers. After this experience and hearing some negative feedback elsewhere, I am done taking my business to TLC. read more

Oh why did I go this route?!?!? I never take my vehicle to a drive through car wash but considering how busy they always are and how lazy I was at the moment, I decided to take the gamble. Service was subpar and was provided by what seemed to be careless individuals who swung vacuums around carelessly. I'd be lying if I said I didn't keep a watchful eye on my truck the entire time. On top of that, the price was absolutely RIDICULOUS!!! I paid $65 to get my truck washed (interior and exterior) when I normally pay around $40 for a full detail excluding car wax. Absolutely the WORSE experience!!!! For a $25 car wash with upgrades my car was just as dirty after the car wash as it was before. Customer service was horrific!!! I attempted to ask the attendant for assistance and he never opened his mouth he solely responded with hand gestures and head nods. You're better off washing your vehicle in a mud hole. I paid $25 for the Max Wash. I should have inspected my car before leaving. They missed spots when drying and vacuuming. I have a dog and expected the hair to be at least a bit cleaned up. It's was still all over the place! For $25 I would expect much more! I was also made to feel uncomfortable by the attendants checking me out and making comments about my appearance. When made it clear that I wasn't playing along by maintaining a professional demeanor, they became unfriendly. I guess that's better than feeling like a piece of meat! Lost my business. No better than the automatic unmanned wash places that are CHEAPER! I have not been here in a while. But when did they stop vacuuming out the car for you?!?! I have a hard time doing this myself and that was the reason I came here. I will seek another place to have this done from now on. read more

Went in on Sunday and got an oil change and check. I've had problems with my vehicle every since then. Went back Tuesday to make them aware. Ask to speak with a manager a young guy said he was and looked up and saw me and told me to go talk to another guy bc he's the manager. Spoke with the guy and expressed my concerns he said I had issues that don't pertain to them. My car was over heating and he said that the didn't add any coolant to my car bc the don't carry my brand. I informed him that he himself was the guy who filled it the last time. He went and check the records came back and said oh yeah we don't have you brand. I had been riding around for two day with no coolant in my vehicle. That's what I took it to them for. It's been downhill from then. Never will go back again but they will be hearing from me soon. read more

Ripoff alert! Went in today to get a safety inspection. They failed my vehicle due to wiper blades. This wouldn't be an issue except for a few things: First the front wiper blades were fine (only a few months old). Second, wiper blades just happen to be the ONE THING they conveniently have on hand and could charge me to replace. Third, if wiper blades really were an issue they probably should have noticed that the rear wiper blade was completely missing - but since they didn't carry the correct size for the back blade they could not make money upcharging for a replacement, and therefore they ignored it completely. They went on to tell me that if I did not get the blades replaced by them today the failed inspection would not be in the computer system and I would have to pay the full $30 for a new inspection instead of $6 for a reinspection. Finally the cashier had the gonads to try to put my change directly into their tip jar. read more

Absolute crap ... $20 dollars for a pass through then informed that it would be another $15 for a wipe down and vacuum. A couple of unsupervised high school kids in there changing oil. A rinse in a rainstorm does a better job. A good all inclusive wash, for a couple bucks more, is just down the road. read more

Ok, so I'm highly disappointed! I was at the car wash for about 45 mins and for the first 40 mins everything was great! The car was clean after going through the wash ( they raised the price for the basic car wash by $1), I spent about 30 minutes cleaning the inside, vacuuming, wiping etc. A few of the workers walked by with a trash can but I didn't think anything of it! When I was finishing up I noticed my to passenger side floor mats were missing! After calling inside 11 times I walked inside where there was no one working and the phone just ringing off the hook! I finally found someone who found someone else and they had here dig through the dumpster which I thought was pretty gross and there were my floor mats! Mind you I had already cleaned them and they were very dirty again and slimy! I would have thought they would have had the courtesy of offering me new mats, a free car wash or something! However I was wrong! The girl did apologize which I appreciated but it's not okay to throw away my property after I've cleaned it and just hand it back to me out a dumpster and pretty much be like, "now be on your way sir!" Anyway I cleaned my mats again, thank goodness I have hand sanitizer in my car and was on my way! I'm not really sure if I'll be coming back! I used to come here all the time when I lived on this side of town, but after today I'm just not sure! read more

Get detailing or deep clean done anywhere else because it won't happen here. Wanted the $75 Cracks and Crevices and a Deluxe exterior, about $100 worth. It was around 6PM and would have to start it the next day. Some lame excuse about locking up vehicles. They wouldn't let me leave my car in the parking lot overnight to start in the morning. So I brought it after they closed. The next morning I showed up and said I'm ready to get this done. He said, "My Manager doesn't want us to start because we might be closing early today". At 8AM you can't get it done because you are closing a few hours earlier!! You close at 7PM!! The truth is that he didn't want to do it. After all the crap I went through to bring my car up after hours. So they have a big list of packages, but unless you want a wash or an oil change, forget it. I'll be telling all my friends and have my daughter tell all her friends to go someplace else. You don't get to screw me over, then get my friend's business too. FOLLOW-UP: They were open all day Friday till 7PM. This place sucks and they're dishonest. That just shows the character of the supervisor on site. So secure your valuables too. read more

I only went to this car was because I had gotten a gift card for a present. As I pulled up to the machine to pay I was met by a guy who worked there and he asked which wash I would like. I explained I had gotten the gift card as a present and was not sure of the amount loaded on the card but I would take the best car wash and pay the difference if there was one which on the machine was $20. He proceeded to tell me that these machines were not accurate and if I wanted to get the best with what the machine listed that I would have to pay him a extra $20. His exact words were I will not touch a car for less that $20...I responded with $20.00 on top of what the machine says and he said yes. Personally I felt like he was trying to pocket 20.00 so I said ill just take the car wash then (20.00 just to run my car through the machine with no dry down, vacuum, or clean in any other way like the machine listed for the $20.00 price). I got to where you put the car on the tracks to ride thru the machine and the guy there lined me up and said put your car in neutral so I did and started moving through the machine. I was sitting there looking on my phone and the next thing I knew it felt like I hit a speed bump and I was just sitting there. They stopped the machine and a guy knocked on my window and asked me what I was doing that I made the car jump the track? I said I wasn't doing anything and he said we have to get you back in the track so he guided me and I was back in the track so he started the machine back and within a few minutes I was back out of the track and sitting in the machine at a side angel facing the machine. They turned the machine back off and He came back again knocked on the window and again asked what I was doing? I replied nothing just sitting here!!!! Again he had to get me straightened up and he had me pull through the machine and he rode back through the car wash with my car. He did have them dry my car as soon as it came out for the inconvenience (the whole time the guy who initially checked me in and wanted a extra $20 for his services was walking back and forth across the parking lot into the building and back looking at me like he was mad that they had to dry my car) then later after I got off work and looked at my car I noticed I have a spot on my bumper where it must of tapped one of the machines getting it out of the car wash!!
