But today, when they finally got the parts and had it fixed, Alvin came in to work to find that instead of taking it for its final check at the auto shop, it had been sold to someone else yesterday. Yes, I was disappointed and I am not pleased. But since they used my report to make fixes to the car and sold it to someone else, it seemed the least they could do was pay for that inspection. The owner, Roger Tinsley, just told me he "wasn't doing that" and I "should have bought the car quicker." Since Auto Fleet's inspection didn't find any of the issues found, and they were the ones who said there was a delay in getting the repair parts, I find that an interesting argument.
