My French bulldog has been a guest here several times. She's always excited to see Sharon, and I believe Sharon often lets her spend time with her in the office, as that is often where she is when I pick her up. And I think it is nice for her -- if I have to leave her with someone -- to have her "vacation" in a nice country setting. Sharon limits the number of guests to no more than 10 (so make your reservations as far in advance as possible, especially during peak times) so I feel like my "baby" gets the individual attention she needs. And if I call or email to see how my dog is doing, I always get a prompt response. read more

Sharon is the best! I have zero reservations about leaving my pooch in Sharon's care (although I would recommend making reservations). The addition of the sidewalk leading to the kennels is much welcomed. read more

I stumbled across this place when visiting family in Columbus and now it's the only place I'd take them. It's located behind the main house and it's a smaller operation that feels much more personal than the larger places that take tons of dogs. Sharon is excellent and treats the dogs like she would her own. I really dislike boarding my dogs in general but I know that they are in good hands here and I don't have to worry about them. I would definitely recommend this location to others. read more

We took our 14 year old Australian Shephard to stay with Sharon at TLC Pet Cottage for 2 1/2 weeks in October 2016, while we went on vacation. We gave her our dogs medications along with instructions. I worked with our vet over the past year to find just the right balance of medication that kept our sweet girl comfortable and healthy. Our dog suffers from anxiety and is given Composure, a natural relaxant. When we returned, Sharon announced that she took it upon herself to stop giving our dog the Composure because "she didn't need it"! When we got home we found that our poor pup's belly was raw and bloody from licking and pulling out her fur! We will NEVER recommend Sharon at TLC Pet Cottage! read more

As pet owners ourselves we know how hard it is to be away from our furry friends. For short times away from home, do you cross your fingers and hope for the best? No! Now you can call TLC Pet Cottage for your dog's vacationing needs! We only accept 10 guests at a time to assure you that your dog is getting the best care possible. We will always keep your pets comfortable and happy. Do not be surprised if your "furkid" wants to stay longer! It is a pleasure for you to return home to find your pup is happy and healthy with a wagging tail. We welcome and encourage you to call and come out to visit with us prior to your pets stay.

Established in 2005.

TLC Pet Cottage will provide your "furkid" with tender loving, comfortable care in our cozy cottage surroundings. We are members of the PCSA (Pet Care Services Association) www.petcareservices.org, which was formerly the ABKA (American Boarding Kennel Association).

Meet the Business Owner: Sharon B.

Sharon has been caring for pets for many years. She is a former member of Pet Sitters International, where she was the "Good Will Ambassador" for the state of Ohio. Sharon is a member of Columbus All Breed Training Club, and involved in Precious Secrets Sheltie Rescue as the Adoption Coordinator.

We've been leaving our senior dogs with Sharon since moving to Columbus 4 years ago. I know they (and all the dogs there) are well loved and cared for. The kennel is always clean and everyone is so friendly. The staff usually have a pet in their arms or at their feet keeping them company whenever we arrive. They're like a family to my pet when I am away. That's comforting to know if I can't be there, someone loving is. read more

You can't go wrong with TLC as your choice for boarding. The owner lives on site and provides top notch care. My pets come home healthy, happy, and always ready to go back. Sharon, the owner spends countless hours, hands on in the kennel making sure all her guests needs are taken care of in a clean environment. read more
