If I could give 0 star, I would....probably the worst doggy day care I have come across across the states in US. We went for a trial, the worst experience ever. We would never go back. They have about 6 big dogs of their own. Don't know how to take care of dogs. They just want to make money. Pushing customers to send dogs every week even if not needed. If you care about your fur baby do not allow Kim and Steven to watch your pups I relied on their previous reviews and "years of experience" but it was a complete let down. At the meet and greet Kim was great. I made it clear that my dog is not neutered, as he is an Alaskan malamute and only 8 months. If they know anything about the breed then they should know that it's a high energy breed who needs to adhere to a strict schedule. Apparently my dog was mounting everyone, untrained and made all the other dogs tense. As a pet sitter you should be more than aware of the temperaments of dogs based on breed, age and by experience. If one dog is mounting then he needs to be placed in time out, and be separated. I gave Steven a schedule to follow and tips on how to handle my pup, there is no way he could follow that schedule while managing other dogs at the same time. There is no way that temperaments of these dogs blend well, and for Steven and Kim to fully keep an eye. Eventually after the 4-5th time of my dog mounting another one, my dog and and that dog got in an altercation. After that I was told that my dog was resource guarding...why is my 82lb 8 month old in an area with a 10 week old pup?? I got an alarming message while I was at clinical, that they were not going to accept my dog anymore and that he needs rigorous training. After speaking with my personal dog trainer, the onice is on them to handle the situation. There is a development factor, and excitement factor. My dog was overly stimulated and trying to get attention. my pup was new to an environment, Kim claims my dog isn't trained, when I personally know that we have already been through training courses. How can they expect a dog to react to a situation when he is around an unfamiliar environment, overly stimulated, and around other dogs with a wide range of temperaments to breeds. There is a reason why when you drop off your dog at dogtopia or camp bow wow that they separate large and small breeds as well as age. I was not made aware that any issues were happening throughout the day, instead I get a message that my pup was had a cut due to the altercation. I should have received updates if they were having difficulty with him. Frantic at clinical, i rush out to pick up my dog. They made it seem like my dog would put their kids or other dogs in danger. When I pick up my dog, Steven then says "how would you feel if another person was mounting you". You are comparing my reaction to a man humping me, to a reaction of dogs who are suppose to be under a supervised environment. How dare he?! This is your business, you are made more than aware of the situation. Even if my pup was neutered, he could still mount. 2 days later I realize my pup has a wound that has been scabbed over. I rush him to the vet, after worrying of an infection. He gets placed on a week of antibiotics. I contacted Kim and addressed my concerns. My Vet cannot clearly say that the wound is due to the dog altercation however this is his first altercation with another dog, and I believe the scab is due to the altercation. this could be easily missed because of his double coat fur. I've never had any complaints about my Dog until he was under their watch. The vet has stated that the antibiotics are due to a yeast infection of the skin. I just wanted Kim and Steven to admit to their faults and take some kind of ownership. In the future they should not accept dogs who are not neutered since they do not know how to handle when dogs mount. They should accept dogs based on temperament age and breed if they are going to have that many dogs at a time. Also on a dogs first day the dogs should be introduced one at a time in order for the dogs to get acquainted. My dog was overly excited and overwhelmed. With that many distractions he is not going to listen to your commands especially when he has no respect for you as a pet sitter.His wound is scabbed over due to his double coat fur..What a big disappointment.. Do yourself a favor and do not allow them to watch your pups!! read more

Best dog boarding business ever! Dropped my 6 year old beagle here for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I was nervous to leave him, but Steve and Kim sent pictures and updates regularly showing me that my dog was having a good time. I love that my dog had the option to be comfy inside and outside, since he is older and likes to just lay in the AC. I also really like that they have astroturf in their yard. He was very relaxed and happy when we got him back, so we are eager to use Kim and Steve again for when we go out of town in a couple weeks! read more

There's not many boarding facilities or doggy sitters in general that will take on a puppy, let alone a St Bernard, but Kimberly and Stephen did and still do every month. I found them when I needed boarding for my senior boxer and they cared for him just like I did until the end. Now they are giving their all to Minnie (don't let the name fool you)! I know when I leave her with Kimberly and Stephen she will be in the BEST hands possible and I've recommended them to all my friends! read more

My dog, Kota, a 91 lb mixed breed, has been going to Kim and Steven's for over a year and she has a fantastic time at every stay. She now gets excited when we arrive at their place, and she has the biggest doggie smile in every photo they send. She's well cared for and Kim and Steven provide regular updates and are easy to connect with if any unexpected changes come up. They also have a great fenced yard that allows the dogs to run around and play all the time. Kota gets loved on like part of their family and we couldn't be happier to leave our best furry friend with them. Kim and Steven are great with dogs and introduced her slowly to one and then a few dogs (and kids!) during the meet and greet to ensure that we, and she, and they were all comfortable together. Kim and Steven also do a great job of working with our dog's specific quirks (e.g. Kota doesn't tolerate warm weather very well and is better greeting other dogs off leash). We plan to continue booking with Kim and Steven for the foreseeable future and truly appreciate their expertise and care when it comes to dogs (and doggie owners)! read more

My dog has been nervous when dropped off at other doggie daycares and didn't want me to leave. the first time we went to Kim's, we were greeted by Steven and she went with him and didn't look back. The second visit a month later, she started squealing and whining as we turned the corner to arrive. She obviously remembered, and has done it each visit after. I get photos texted to me during her stay. She gets a bath if she gets dirty. she is very happy and content. read more
