And this economy, people are making decisions about how they spend money based on the quality of service that they receive. Although we do not have a huge yard, we do have a lot of tree coverage and our front yard is a huge hill, so mowing it ourselves was not going to be an option. 4U has come on time and has done an amazing job each time. During the summer they came every other week and in the fall less frequently. I am billed via email once a month and can pay it securely online. They also contacted me as the fall was starting and gave me a great price to have my gutters cleaned and the leaves collected. They also provide additional services in the spring like aeration of the lawn and trimming to help plants grow better. They do a great job.

It was also located at the top of a bank that leads down to a creek, so the location was tricky. We obtained four estimates before starting our project. Caliber exceeded the other tree companies in every way. Their proposal was professional, specific, and detailed, and they provided information about their licensing and insurance. Both Tim and Julian were very responsive to questions. We had some limitations about where they could go on the property with the heavy equipment, because of the location of our septic field. They put down mats and did their best to minimize the impact of their work on the yard. They used two crews so there were eight men working at once, but they coordinated their efforts so well, and every person was friendly and helpful. They chipped branches and hauled away all the huge trunk sections. I would recommend them very highly for more complicated jobs.

AVOID CNC Tree Service: Requested a quote for work (large job) regarding palm trees on my lot. The…read moreindividual and I went around the property twice to confirm everything who then went with his wife twice around the property as she wrote up the quote. I was informed that I would be called to schedule when the work would begin and that the trees would be identified for the crew. Problem #1: Trees were never identified for the crew; work is done that is not part of the quote. Problem #2: Crew showed up unannounced on two consecutive days. Problem #3: Because the proper work was not done ahead of time work was done that was not part what was agreed upon and the owner (Cody) starts bellyaching about losing money. The owner also complained about the amount of overhead he has which had nothing to do with the work he was hired to do. Problem #4: Owner decided to get paid for what had been completed and walk away from the remainder of the job. CNC Tree Service came recommended by someone else in my neighborhood so I thought finally a reputable tree service. How wrong I was . . . not even close to being reputable.
