Feet shellac

Its probably the cheapest nail salon in dublin! Absolutely amazing range of colours. Friendly staff :) u can find great deals online and u can even book from yelp! Get a glass of water, sit on a massage chair and enjoy pedicure So iam ready, just did my perfect summer shellac. Unfortunately it chipped after 4 days :( and they all gone after 1.5 weeks time.

First thing I did in Dublin a week ago? Manicure! I made an appointment through Yelp (and saved 20%, yay!) at 7pm, you probably wouldn't be able to get an appointment at this time back home in Berlin. Staff was super friendly and quick and they had amazing colours to choose from. The street where TN is located had a great vibe and was fun passing through. Only thing is that one of my nails broke after 2 days which usually shouldn't happen to gel nails. Anyways If I stayed longer I would return to this place!

I recently got my engagement ring back from being resized and in effort to make the most of all the attention it and my hand will be getting I decided to get a manicure. I've been passing TN Beauty Salon for a good while now and it always appears busy with people getting their nails done, so I decided to give them a try. And for 15 EUR for your standard manicure, it was a good choice. The girl shaped my nails perfectly and applied the varnish flawlessly. The girls in work all commented on what a good job it was and how nice my nails were. One even showed interest in going to TN herself for a manicure. When I was paying and leaving, the manicurist helped me with my bag and jacket to ensure I didn't chip my lovely painted nails. Very helpful. Now I am not a girly girl by any means, but I do think I will be back semi regularly for a manicure every now and then.

€12 and a few days later...

Last week I was desperate to find a place for a quick manicure as I had plans to head out of town for a girls trip. I had yet to find a "go to" place in Dublin so pulled up a few of the places I had visited only to find that their lunch-time appointments were booked. This left me with the impossible choice of booking an evening appointment and skipping the gym (the horror!) or trying an unknown spot. Given the amount of wine and cheese I planned to consume on my trip, I opted for the latter... After a quick Yelp search I found TN Beauty which happened to be just a few minutes from my office. I headed out at lunch and was immediately greeted upon walking in the door. They said they could fit me in so I picked out a colour and they got to work. This place is no frills but my lady was meticulous and efficient. In about 20 minutes I had clean cuticles, several coats of polish and nearly dry nails. When it came time to pay I was shocked at the price. €12?!? For a whopping €6 more you can get the full salon manicure so I'm looking forward to coming back for the deluxe treatment. If there is anyone looking for a U.S. nail salon experience in Dublin, look no further than TN Beauty. Oh and bring cash!

Do not go there!!! My nails are in bits after here! I got acrylic nails done there as the price was so good....I then went to have them removed. I had never gotten them done before so I was unaware of the correct way to remove them which involves soaking the nails etc. The nail technician simply cut my nails with a nail clippers and then cut them in at an angle from the side and then ripped them off using a fake nail tip to pry under the nail. This was so sore and the girl laughed and said oh I know it can be sore! As a result my nails are in a terrible state. I have white spots on my nails caused from the ripping off and they are all breaking and splitting up into my nail bed! It may be cheap but its not worth it!

You get what you pay for. It's been about a week and I've already broken a nail

I've been getting my eyebrows threaded at a few different places around the city for the last couple of years, this was by far the best. Almost every other place I've gone to has taken way too much off, despite me telling them I wanted a fuller look to frame my face. The therapist took great detail in explaining the differences in each brow and told me as I'm so fair it could take 2 years for me to achieve the look I want without having to use pencil and powder to fill. Not sure if this was an upsell technique but I appreciated the honesty! She was very careful to remove the bare minimum whilst trying to make them even. Although it's more expensive than a lot of other places I was absolutely delighted with the results, I felt like she really listed to what I wanted and my face looked so different afterwards, being properly framed. I made my follow up appointment on the spot and was given a loyalty card- not sure what exactly this entitles me to. I met a friend for lunch afterwards and even though I was wearing less make up than usual she commented on how well I looked which I definitely think was down to the eyebrows!

The worst customer service ever! I made an appointment for Wicklow St on the morning of my office…read moreparty - they kept sending text messages with constant time changes. Then the day before I got a call saying they could no longer take me in wicklow St but offered an apt in Grand Canal dock which was inconvenient but I accepted as I was really stuck. At 7.30am on the morning of the apt I got another text message cancelling the apt with no alternative offered. At that stage I had my shower without washing my hair and had my makeup on. Office party day and hair in a state. All I wanted was a blow dry! Luckily Peter Marks came to the rescue with a 9am apt. Don't ever book Dry & Fly!!!

I won a competition to get hair extensions applied in Dry & Fly and from the moment I headed to my consultation it was a disaster. The lady at my consultation hadn't a clue about the competition, knew nothing about the voucher, made no attempt to find out about it but matched me up anyway. That was fine I left that day on a low but was excited to get it sorted and get my extensions fitted. Finally the day arrived and I'm in the chair about to get my hair, the colour of the extensions was wrong, there wasn't enough extensions to cover my whole head so the lady had to go into the back and find some different coloured extensions to try finish the job. I knew the colour was a bit off but I didn't realise how bad it was until I got home and washed it. The colour wasn't anywhere near the same as my hair, the stylist threw a few random brown pieces in, the cut was uneven. When I contacted the salon I was informed my hair was "too short for extensions" and that I wasn't styling them properly. My hair still a year later is thin and raggedy from being chopped into by the stylist to try cover for the fact she hadn't enough extensions. I should have pushed back harder at the time but because it was a competition I felt I had no right. I paid for them to be removed in a different salon and foolishly let the whole incident sit which I wish I hadn't of done as this was a total mess. It knocked my confidence and something that should have been a great experience in a top salon has ended up costing me a lot to try and get my hair back to normal after a year.

Sorry this was for Malahide Jule…read more My sister and I had a pampering session yesterday eve at Jule. On arrival my first impression was that it's very clean, bright and staff were friendly. We were brought to the relaxation room. It's cosy with huge chairs and cushions. We were brought to our treatment room. I love the way we could get changed into dressing gown in the room. The room was very relaxing. I had the coconut foot soak, hot towel back compress, relaxing back, neck and shoulder massage, Dermalogica Facial and foot massage. From start to finish was so relaxing. Best massage ever. When I went back into the relaxation we had Presecco and chocolates ready for us. And my pet hate .... product pushing I didn't feel there was any pressure to buy any products like some Spas. This was our first visit. We will defo be back and we will probably be now making this a regular visit as we loved it.

I got the Relax & Renew spa package that was reduced from €119 to €69 in December, which included a coconut foot soak, Dermalogica facial, Indian head massage and a back, hand and foot massage. The offers change every month, but I know for January 2016, it €59 for the skin treatments like microdermabrasion and illuminating facials and 40% discount on massages. I've also had a deep tissue massage here which was pretty good but shorter than I expected (~40 mins). The girls here are really nice and friendly and they always do my Shellac perfectly (although they don't do complimentary removal even if you got it there, which costs an extra €5). The nail art is pretty limited in that they don't seem to do the really funky designs. You can get simple things like glitter, stars, hearts etc. though. They also seem to have some unique treatments that you don't come across everyday like ear candling, seaweed facials, body wraps and massage as well as special treatments like laser (non-contract), IPL red vein removal, facial peels and callus removal. The prices in general are slightly lower than most city centre salons (facials cost around €70 up), and the online booking system allows you to made instantaneous appointments via phorest without having to wait for confirmation. Overall, nice salon with friendly staff, a range of treatments and interesting special offers.

She also suggested making our own shade by doing a red base with a darker top... And she nailed it!
