We walked enough to get a bit of exercise but not to be tired, and we saw some great sites along the tour as it was 1 hour and 50 minutes for us and only one big hill. As a history teacher, I definitely picked up some interesting stories to bring back to class next year, and I learned some cool stats on Nashville and a bit of the behind the scenes on some of the country music stars of the area. It was really worth it. My husband does not love stuff like this, he'd rather grab a bite and do our own adventuring, but he was really pleased we did this as well. It so happens that Erin was our driver/tour guide again as I got a text from her the day before. Unfortunately, the day the trip, Ray turn out to be our guide but Erin was still our driver. It worked out great! We got two for the price of one. Erin mainly drove but did chat here and there on the trip. Ray was very knowledgable on so many topics! He did a great job entertaining us on the ride. Ray was also very thoughtful and considerate of everyone in the van. He made sure we were always hydrated with water and the temperature in the van wasn't too cold. The worst part of the trip was the rain. When we stopped for lunch, Ray and Erin provided us with ponchos just in case. We end up not needing them. When we got to Jack Daniels, both of them were adamant that we should take the ponchos just in case. As it turns out, it down poured right at the start of the tour. I mean as soon as you walk out those doors to take pics and then board the bus, it came down hard!! Thankfully we were able to throw on our ponchos! Upon arrival our shuttle driver helped take our food and drinks over to the pontoon where we met our driver for the pontoon for the few hours we were out. We drove to a side of the lake where it was extremely quiet and peaceful as we anchored down for a little bit and took out our donuts and other water devices. Our pontoon driver was awesome and interactive, taking professional photos for us and engaging in great conversation. People in TN sure are way more friendly than in other places! We got back to shore safely and overall had an incredible experience. Ain't nothing like a day on a lake! Would definitely recommend if you're in the area!

While the transportation service was completed, the billing and communication issues were significant enough that I would not use this company again or recommend them to others.

We were driving our 21-year-old Hummer H2, pulling a 24' travel trailer on what has been described as our last adventure. The husband-and-wife campground managers, Pam and Sam went out of the way to help us diagnose the mechanical problem with the Hummer's shift cable. They contacted the owner of the facility and apprised her of our situation, and she suggested that we spend the night in one of cabins for the night as opposed to spending the night in the trailer without being hooked up to sewer, water and electricity. We gladly accepted the offer to spend the night in the air-conditioned cabin. Pam personally moved our overnight belongings in their car to the cabin and Sam came back in the morning to assist us in finding a repair facility for our vehicle. We were humbled by Pam and Sam's overwhelming willingness to help us. Obviously, we were out of our comfort zone and a little rattled by the break down. We were assured that everything would be better the next day. The following morning Sam was available when the wrecker came to get our vehicle. Sam assured me that the repair facility was very competent and had worked on his vehicles in the past which was some comfort in this situation. We would highly recommend Nashville I-24 Campground to everyone. The staff is amazing down-to-earth people and the owner went above and beyond to make us feel at home in a friendly and caring environment Sincerely, Alan DeLee

But our campsite was very small and felt like we were camping in a parking lot. They gave us one of the "buddy sites "where we were facing the front of another RV. We had no fire ring and no picnic table. We met friends for dinner and so didn't spend the evening at the campsite, but if we had wanted to, we would've had nowhere to sit outside. Would not recommend.
