On the left, full-set that Tommy applied. These nails are awful. Throughout the process, I kept mentioning that I was dissatisfied. Once he completed the full-set, I was charged $60. The next day, I called Tommy to ask if he could cut the nails down, maybe they'll look better. He said the "It wouldn't look right." I asked if he could change the shape to almond. He said these particular nail tips could not be reshaped to almond. He didn't offer any sort of help or resolution. He proceeds to tell me "Just wear them, you're just not use to that shape." I then went to another salon who successfully reshaped my nails. I will not be back to this place. read more

I came here on a Sunday which wasn't too busy. A friend referred me hear. I love the way her nails turn out every time I see them in person so I decided to try this place out. I invited my friend as a girls day, We just wanted to get pampered. One of the ladies greeted my friend and I as we entered, and asked what we wanted. I just wanted a fancy manicure, since it was pretty pricey I opted just for the gel nails my nails are naturally long I just had the lady shape them a little, picked a color. The place is really cute inside, almost like your sitting at a bar, cushioned seats, a fancy white glitter table top. There's plenty of nail colors, the prices are reasonable. All was fine until the next day at work my nails were bothering me, like my cuticles were stinging, in so much pain. I've gotten plenty of shellac nails from different places but this machine was burning every bit of me. The lady kept using the clippers to take off my dead skin going over the same spot more than several times making me feel uncomfortable. However I don't make it a big deal, thank her as my nails look really good. Fast forward to the next day. My fingers, cuticles still hurt. As I looked closer while at work I saw little cuts on several fingernails. There's not a smooth surface around my nails like I had before, now it looks like I bite around my nail, looks so gross. The salon boasts brand new pedicure chairs, a gorgeous granite manicure bar, two giant TV for clients, and SEVERAL hundred different colors of gel polish. Private alcove with 2 pedicure chairs available also. -MANICURE Skill: I saw Linda for my acrylic set with gel polish. The time, attention to detail, and general artistry she displayed was amazing (see photos) 10/10 would re-book with her! Vivian was the nail artist responsible for my middle finger accent art! I really sad to go but I don't remain with techs when nails lift more than twice plus prices for refill were a bit inconsistent from month to month . read more

I thought I should give this place a shot because I came in last time to get my lip waxed and I was impressed by the clean interior and wall of nail polishes. Yes they use new tools and scrubs for pedicures every single time. My mom said her massage wasn't good and we both had bad service. No one here seems happy and they do not like to smile. I got an acrylic fill and I left unsatisfied.. They came out THICK. Polish painted on blotchy. And my acrylic never cracks or chips. This place is a hit or miss and my most recent visit was a miss. I'm all for paying for the service that was performed what I'm not ok with is the hidden service fee. They charge additional to shape your nail as only " square" shape is free. However, coffin shape is an additional fee, how so? When you have to cut the sides of each nail in order to properly achieve the look in doing so you're not even getting the full nail on each finger yet they have the nerve to charge you for it. At this point it's the principal and when a person request that shape they need to advise of the additional fee upfront and not tally it up at the end, allow the paying customer the opportunity to decide if they still want it before proceeding to shape the nail not say anything about the fee and then add it on at the end. Poor business practices and I will never return as there is no reason this place should have hidden fees. read more

All I have to say is TERRIBLE! Called ahead and made an appt for manicure and pedicure. Came in and was left waiting for 30 minutes. I was pleased to see they use liners for their pedicure bath BUT here are the things I observed the following in the few minutes i waited for my appointment that were complete statebaord violations... *Using a dirty nail file & pumice stone so it's probably safe to assume the metal tools were also dirty. *Grabbed gloves that were inside out. No clean new gloves come from the manufacturer that way. *Scoobed salt scrub bare handed out of the tub *girl finished up with service on one & just dusted off her tools & went to the next her next client only to use the same dirty tools and dirty gloves *jet attachment that is on top of the pedicure liner is not cleaned between clients so what's the point of a new liner? Terrible!!!! So if one client has a communicable disease and goes to the next client and uses the same dirty tools on the next client doesn't that just continue to spread the disease? I just moved to the area and I am trying to find a new salon to get my nails done. I called TN nails to confirm they did dip powder, and scheduled an appointment for later in the day. When I showed up, I had to wait until 20 minutes past my appointment time for them to start the process. The nail technician was very aggressive and ended up causing me to flinch on numerous occasions. She asked me if I wanted to pay additional money for a manicure, and I was surprised that was not included in the fee. About 6 weeks ago I found this nail and spa. I got my nails done, a full set and a pedicure, they were done very nicely and I was impressed. I came back got to fill and a pedicure again, again i was pleased... i liked this place until I went home and a few days later I realized I had fungus under my nail. Underneath the acrylic!!!! So i understand it happends I go back to nailandspa.com and let them know that I need to fill and a pedicure... And that I now have a fungus i am still willing to give them a shot just take care of the fungus. Omg I had to fight with them to get to clip my nail back, put fungus killer and this was a full set THEY PUT ON. It was underneath the acrylic that THEY had placed on my nail! NOW HERES YHE KICKER!!!! When I went to pay.... they charge me more for my fill because they told me they had a lot of work to do on my nails! Which was cleaning the fungus they caused!! Are you F*****g kidding me, i now pay extra for fungus they gave me?!?! Lol this place is a joke!!!! Health warning! Someone else's toe jam and dead skin on the filthy metal nail clippers, nippers and cuticle tools that this gal tried to use on ME! Filthy! Do NOT go here for any pedicure or nail service! This is exactly how blood diseases, skin infections and nail fungus gets passed around! I just walked out... well ran out of this gross place yesterday! I almost threw up after what I saw. It was crowded. Friendly, but non- English speaking staff asked me to find a polish color and go sit down in a spa bath. I did not see anyone clean it out before I sat down and they started filling it with water for my feet. That was my first red flag. Second red flag came when the same employee then ran back across the room to finish up another customer's pedicure. When she finished the other customer's pedicure, I watched her wrap up the dirty nippers, clippers and digger in a dirty paper towel. She ran to the back of the shop, where she disappeared. I assumed she was gathering new clean towels and sanitized, clean pedicure nippers, clippers, nail files and cuticle removers etc... for my feet. (WRONG!) She came out carrying an old towel in one hand and a wrapped up NEW paper towel in the other hand. She placed the worn old towel across the top of the pedicure spa bowl for my feet. Then, she unwrapped a clean looking paper towel to display the 3 different metal pedicure tools that she was obviously planning to use on MY feet! She placed these tools on a tray. Then, she jumped up and ran to the back of the building again. I sat waiting for her return and thankfully glanced down at the suuposedly clean and sanitized pedicure tools. What I saw made me want to vomit! On the tray next to my feet was one of the most revolting things I have EVER seen! The tips of the clippers, nippers and metal cuticle digger were COVERED in repulsive dead skin and toe jam! Yes, I felt my lunch literally come up to the back of my throat. I gagged and choked back the reflex to expel everything I had just eaten about a half an hour earlier. I fought hard not to vomit, as I jumped up out of the massaging chair and flew for the front door! This filthy manicurist was going to use the SAME FILTHY TOOLS ON ME- that she had just used on her last customer! In her rush to get the next new customer- ME- she simply wrapped up her FILTHY pedicure tools in a clean paper towel and hoped that no one would notice! In my rush to escape this nightmarish nail adventure, I did make quite a stir. I spoke up and tried to warn the other customers of what I saw. I encouraged them to get up, walk over and examine the tray! And, take a good look at the filthy nail tools this gal was planning to use on ME. To my amazement.... Everyone just SAT there- with their mouths hanging open, looking at me like a bunch of zombies! I guess some people don't care about contracting green nail fungus, skin infections or passing on blood diseases? LOL Here's the kicker! As I was running out, only ONE customer responded to my words of fair warning. The gal sitting next to me, whose head was bald and wrapped in a pink and white turban, (looking like she was just finishing up her last round of chemo) did eek out a few words. She quietly leaned over and said, "You think this place is bad? You should try the place across the street!" OMGosh! What a day! LOL! What a day! Hey! Happy Mothers Day! Toe jam, skin diseases and nail fungus for everyone!!! Chemo therapy, suppressed immune systems and bald heads be damned! Time to take some BIG risks! Next time, I think I'll stay home and paint my own toenails. The feel of my lunch coming up the back of my throat... the disgusting images now cemented in my memory of someone else's globs of toe jam and dead skin on filthy nail tools...are still so fresh in my mind, as is the bizarre "zombie" reaction of almost everyone in this nail salon! After I left, there was only one thing I wished I would have done- taken a photo with my i-phone, so I could post it on here! But, when you see things like that, first instinct is to RUN! The place looks really nice and clean on the inside. My only problem is that when I was done getting my pedicure the nail polish looked like my 6 year old cousin painted my toes.... The lady missed some parts on my toenails. I asked the lady to remove my ingrown toe nail and she said that she would, but she didn't and just completely ignored it. Don't come here. read more
