He also remodeled the master bath and did a very creative install of multi section mirror/cabinet on a wall with a pocket door. And the floors, AMAZING FLOORS! The repaired, sanded and beautifully restained the entire white oak first floor. I was there when his team was working and they had great care and passion for their work and it shows. We had a 1987 badly designed kitchen that was falling apart. They did a full gut and also remodeled a bar area in living room and laundry room. The price was very fair, the work was amazing. As expected a project this size was not without some challenge's. But the team at Design Craft was extremely responsive and was always on top of things. Here we sit a year later and there was a drawer that was not closing correctly. I called and they scheduled a team member to come out and they adjusted and fixed the drawer promptly. I am happy to recommend Design Craft to anyone. Their install teams are wonderful people and we welcomed them in our home. The work they did was solid, they do not cut corners. Overall, I feel lucky to have found Celebration Homes as they are semi-custom and could really offer us everything we wanted in our dream home! You read about home builders that try to cut corners or refuse to do stuff after you sign on the dotted line, however Celebration is not like that. I have owned my home for almost 2 years and have invested several thousand dollars trying to bring it into codes all the while being mocked and ridiculed by the builder because I was pointing out the flaws. From the electrician to the plumber to the painters and finishers they fell way short of what quality work is supposed to look and feel like. The only sub that got it right in my book is the HVAC contractor and he went out of his way to make sure my house was warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Shout out to Claud Heating and air conditioning. Everyone else involved in the build should have all their licenses revoked and be banned from ever being allowed to build much less sell another one of these houses. Good luck if you screwed up and bought a celebration home. The Carpet Den in Franklin,Tn. can't spell LVP much less lay it. The plumbing contractor wouldn't know how to lay a shower pan if he had a YouTube video to help and the electrician, oh my the electrician, I am betting they get electrocuted a lot on the job site. Timberland cabinets really needs classes on how to mount cabinets before they are allowed to quote another job seeing how I had to add blocking in because my cabinets were falling off the wall and they wanted to argue with me. Make sure and do your walk thrus, we did catch some things but they were quickly fixed. If you make changes after you sign with them, you'll be charged but that's standard. What's not standard is that the contract price is the final price no matter how long it takes. Fair and easy to work with I think. We've been in our home six months and love it, only a minor issue with doors and they came right out and fixed.

Starting with Shad who walked me though the entire process of what a build would be like and worked closely with me to come up with the perfect floor plan. He answered all my questions and never made be feel as if i was bothering him with some silly questions I had. Next, Thaddeus who was our contact through the entire build. He was our life line through the process and made sure to communicate throughly any changes or updates. He was always happy and available to answer questions or explain changes. He is super organized and really knows what he is doing and does it well. Lastly Trevor who was on site with the contractors and making sure everything with the house was going smoothly. We didn't have much direct communication with him expect for walkthroughs but if we had questions about anything specific on the job he would jump on the call to explain it to us and what our options were. He was great during the walk throughs to make us feel comfortable with what was going on and would be the first to point out something he felt wasn't up to standards even if we missed it, and have it fixed. We were building from out of state and were very nervous about the communication with a builder from so far away. Little did we know Sherlock Homes Builders would be excellent in this department, They kept us updated weekly, often sent pictures of new things happening and if we asked from more or specific photos of something they got them to us quickly. They accommodated our tight schedule with flights to TN during COVID and made sure we had all our appointments for finishes lined up. All the vendors they used were very helpful and had great products. All this added up gave us the dream home we had hoped for in the end! We have now been living in the house almost 2 months LOVE it. The small things that have come up that have needed repair or we noticed weren't quite as expected, they have been quick to get someone out to take care of the problem.
