So this is a long overdue review. In the past year I have had multiple services done on both my HVAC and Electrical. The photos are of the new doorbells Airstream installed for me last summer and it has already been a huge help along with the porch light in identifying and dealing with unexpected visitors (good and bad, mostly good). As for our HVAC we have had considerable work done on it over the past year, and at every step Airstream was honest, professional, and transparent with their pricing while respecting our budget and time. After the 2026 winter storm, we found that the system had been taxed significantly and Airstream has worked with us over the past few months to get it back into tip-top shape for the summer heat. Each time the work has been done efficiently and with minimal interference in our daily activities and minimal stress on our our pets. I can not recomend this company enough, and look forward to continuing to work with them. read more

I requested service because my A/C was running but blowing hot air. Air Stream was polite, responsive, and arrived sooner than quoted, which I appreciated. The technician, Ryan S., diagnosed a failed condenser and advised that my R-22 unit was too old to repair with current Freon, recommending a complete replacement at an estimated cost of $10,000-$24,000. I requested a written report and photos so I could obtain a second opinion. The report stated that the condenser was not working and that I needed a new A/C, but no photos were provided. I ultimately had my regular A/C technician evaluate the unit. He replaced a faulty capacitor and added one pound of Freon for $180, and the A/C immediately returned to normal operation. One week later, I have had no issues. While Ryan was very courteous, the diagnosis and recommendation were significantly inaccurate. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I will not use Air Stream for future A/C service and will instead wait for my regular technician to become available. read more

Huge waste of time. I scheduled an estimate and they sent someone out to look through a few electrical requests: car charger install, new outlets, low voltage drops, and I was promised an estimate in a few hours or next day. They just never sent an update. When I reached out to check in they said they'll follow up soon, and then continued ghosting. If there's some reason you don't want to take a job then respect my time and say so. Don't promise an estimate to be sent when you were never planning on it. read more

Jake with Airstream Services came to fix a clogged line that had backed up into our drain pan causing a mess and water to come through our bathroom ceiling. He unclogged the line, drained the pan and replaced a valve: what i thought Was a complete repair ended up not being so. When our dry wall man came to fix the ceiling, he noticed water was in the duct work connected to the unit. This should have been caught the first time, and now I've had water sitting up there for days, and had to rearrange my schedule so they could come out and correctly finish a job that should have already been done. read more

I called to get my furnace serviced as the weather was cooling down. They got me in the next day. A prompt lets you know where your tech is so you do not have to stay home all day. Later that night the furnace made a weird noise. When the tech arrived he cleaned the furnace and did the maintenance then did a diagnostic and sent me a quote for: good (fix the sound), better (fix the sound and something he saw that could be a future problem), and best, all the things. The company checked back in and to see if I received the quote. Highly recommend. read more

In performing my EV charger installation, my house created some challenges, but they were very quick to determine options and answers to address them that were satisfactory to me. We've been using Hiller but have been relatively unhappy with their response time and quality of work. We needed two new outlets installed in our home and Airstream Kyle came by within 24 hrs, gave me a reasonable quote, and finished the job that I thought would be a lot more difficult. Kyle was on time, professional, and efficient. I ended up switching my annual care plan from Hiller ($249/yr for just HVAC) to Airstream ($204/yr for HVAC, electric, and plumbing) while he was here. 10/10 so far. read more

4.5 'tis the season. No, not the season for tablescapes and overeating (although, yes). It's the season to make sure that your HVAC is running properly.* Yep, there was once a time when/where I reviewed craft beer bars and clubs. Now, I line up to sing the praises of heating and cooling. Time is a vicious opponent. But I will gladly sing the praises of Airstream. The company is full of highly competent, kind, thorough, and about-business people. These are all qualities you want in a HVAC service. Y'see, back when it used to get cold, I was having some heating issues. My usual HVAC was out of town and this was something that couldn't wait. I hopped on Yelp and searched for professionals. Using Request A Quote, this couldn't be easier. Within 15 minutes of sending an inquiry to Airstream, I was on the phone with the receptionist. Within an hour, I had someone at my house. That 'someone' was Saul. He was personable, courteous and skilled. He diagnosed what was going on and gave me some options. As he went about fixing my issue, he told me about the VIP Club which would offer me some immediate savings. Say less. Because in home ownership it's always something, I had an issue pop up some months later. This was in the summer and had nothing to do with cooling issues. Roofers had knocked the he!! out of my unit, disconnecting pipes and other parts. Seeing as though I didn't want to befall a CO2 issue, I called Airstream who had another tech at my house within the hour. He, too, was kind, skilled and serious. He assessed the several points of concern and what he would need to do (and, order) to get it fixed fast. He gave me a quote and apologized for the cost. I told him not to worry about it because I had every intention on recouping the money from the company that banged up my unit. I agreed. He ordered the parts, came back within a few days and labored until all was well and I wasn't concerned that I was at a safety risk. Airstream *can* be a bit aggressive in its communication (text and email) but that's a small price to pay for a reliable, professional company with which you can trust a major piece of your housing unit (and your family's comfort and safety). My HVAC guy has been through thick and thin with me but Airstream will always be my number 2 with a bullet. If you don't have a HVAC company on call, you can rest easy in making it this one. *Though with the climate change we've been through this year, have you really needed to use your heat? read more

Came in for turn up, did not put breaker back on which caused the unit not working when outside temperature dropped down to 20s, so for 2 days we stayed in with 50s inside. Finally called them to come back check on the unit, insisted check the problem right away, the technician started pushing in the replacement estimate. Way too expensive and too inexperienced. These are young guys who are just learning. They are not well experienced especially that you're paying for a top dollar guy. Prices are way too high here. They quoted me $550 to change a capacitor come on a $10 part for 10 minutes worth of labor that's ridiculous. Gave them a couple of chances with a couple of different price quotes and they were all insane. Also 500 dollars for a new contact switch at the condenser???Seriously??? Robbery Not saying this is the only place that overcharge, but you really need to do your homework and don't blindly accept the prices of the repairs here because they are way overpriced and a $550 for a capacitor on an outdoor unit that's easily accessible if not overpriced. 20/10 - I've wanted permanent "Christmas Lights" on my home since I was a little girl. A dream for my future home when I grow up. At first the production of RBG LEDs made my dream look like an affordable possibillity, but I was wrong. Until this year when I found Gemstone Lights....These are made in Canada, so I knew they could handle any weather Mother Nature might throw my way, even with Climate Change! But how to get them on my house? They are in Canada, I am in Tennessee!! So...... the search was on and I found Airstream Services who is a Certified Installer of Gemstone Lighting! I submitted a request for a quote via their online page and got an immediate call back. Scheduled for a quote that happened later that week. I do not remember the name of the gentleman who arrived, but he was knowledgeable and professional. I was mostly already sold on the product due to my research, so he quickly got to measuring my home and drawing up an estimate. I couldn't afford the whole house at the moment, so he drew up an estimate for the front only. Well, that was significantly below what I budgeted, so he took the time to come up with coverage that gave the most impact using the complete budget I had! He also took a look at my exterior electrical boxes and advised me that the "tripping" of my breakers when I set up lights in my yard was due to the outlets on the house not being sealed correctly, allowing moisture in, thus tripping the circut, so my house doesn't burn down! I had no idea as this was a brand new custom build when we purchased it! Whew!!! I put 50% down and tried my best to keep my anticipation under control. I tell you, those 10 days were the LONGEST waiting for my lights to be fabricated to specification. When I got the call for install, I could hardly believe it was finally happening! I got a text with a photo of Conner, my tech guy so I'd know who to expect (Very Nice idea, Thank you!) who arrived within an hour of the 2 hour window they provided. Now they are located a little over an hour from my home, but they had no issues with that at all. Conner & Leo arrived & got right to work. It began raining during install, lightly but still, they were WAY up HIGH in some places on ladders!! Eek!! But, they had no problems at all!! Within a few hours, my DREAM of a beautifully lit residence came TRUE!! Now, these lights are completely controlled by an app on my phone. I can control them (on, off, change colors or movement patterns) from Anywhere, as long as I can get on the internet/cloud! For security purposes, this is great! I can be gone, but give the illusion I am there, by changing my lights every night! As I stated, these are manufactured in Canada, so I'm secure in my confidence of the fabrication as well as in my decision to have AirStream handle the install. They responded quickly to any calls made to their office and their employees are professional & friendly. Attached are some pictures of the motionless lights, there are 20 different MOTIONS of the lights, aside from them being static, but I couldn't get the videos to load. Now the lights are much more vivid than these pics show. I obviously need to learn how to photograph LEDs better. There are presets for holidays, as well as presets for things such as Paw Patrol, with each character having their own light pattern. So fun for the kids I babysit! I can't wait for each holiday now, so I can light my house to Represent!! I live just a couple blocks from both Main Street & the county high school in my little town, so I'm looking forward to hearing folks talking about "That house with the crazy lights!" Thank you AirStream for making this Girl's Dream come true! Oh, by the way, the time span from finding AirSteam to the completion of my lights being installed was UNDER 20 days!! That is Service!
