I had received several bids for counter and tile work. After speaking with Mike, I decided to go with TNT. Mike was very much no BS and did not try to upsell anything. He was honest and his price was very fair. The tile turned out perfect. We had all three bathrooms redone, his guys worked the butts off and we're very friendly and made sure to clean up daily. They were contracted to do the flooring for our new custom home. They did a bad job. Boards were cut too short resulting in gaps and TNT answer is to fill gaps with caulking. Boards were not tightly installed resulting in visible gaps between boards all thru the house and TNT answer is to fill gaps with caulking. They made appointments to fix issues after completion but would not show up. The contractors state license board should stop them from repeating the same disaster to other homeowners. read more

TNT Tile and Stone was assigned as our installer by Installation Made Easy. From the beginning there were issues: 1) Installation Made Easy provided incorrect contact information for TNT, delaying initial confirmation of our appointment. 2) We explained the location of our property (Truckee, CA) and expressed concern that an installer from over an hour away had been assigned. Knowing this information, Rebecca from TNT confirmed the appointment and assured us the location wasn't an issue. On Wednesday before out measure, Rebecca emailed to cancel TNT's service altogether, saying the job was too small and location too far away. Bottom line - TNT knew the location and the size of the job when they confirmed my appointment. If the distance was too far or the job too small, they should not have confirmed in the first place. Poor customer service caused us an additional inconvenience in scheduling another contractor and delaying our install. read more

Mike and his team recently re-tiled/remodeled my master bath. The demo went well, but there was a delay when we realized the shower pan had to be hot mopped again. Mike came by every day to check on his team and discuss the work. He offered suggestions along the way, and eventually everything was completed. I have the floor tiled with wood grain ceramic tile, and the shower and bath walls tiled too. The workmanship of his tiling team was first class. Especially Ulysses and Terry. Their attention to detail and my satisfaction was their first priority. The final job was first class, and I would use TNT Tile again for tiling work in a heartbeat. They tiled my bathroom 2 months ago and did a fantastic job after using the shower for a month I noticed the tile Border in my shower was losing its color I contacted Mike and he came out immediately to take a look and determined my tile was defective. Let me start by saying that the quoted price was higher than other quotes, but we went with them because they seemed to do good quality work. From day one, they did not lay down anything on my wood floor to protect it (we had to ask). They laid the tile in the opposite direction of what was asked, and then proceeded to lie about the conversation that was had regarding what was asked. Mike, the owner, tried to tell me what I had said, which was not true. The tile was crooked, causing sharp edges when walked on. They therefore had to take out more than 50% of the tile to fix it. There are still small broken edges from their repair work. They also continued to work on top of the tile, again without protecting it from their tools, etc. So my new tile which should look fresh and clean, has scratches, smudges, and dirty grout lines. They even left behind a towel behind in my shower drain so that when I went to take my first shower, it couldn't drain properly and filled up. It was clear that there was major miscommunication happening between him and his workers and there didn't appear to be mutual respect. Mistakes are bound to happen, but it's how it's dealt with that matters. Mike lied and used condescending/gaslighting techniques, which was completely unprofessional. I have grown up in a family of contractors and know what quality work and professionalism looks like. I will never use them again and would not recommend to others. read more
