A very laid back beach vibe. The tacos were good very crisp veggies, and seasoned chicken, and refreshing after a squeeze of lime. The mermaid lemonade was really good not too over bearing with the alcohol, but smooth enough for you to have a few, and the live band adds a certain party atmosphere. Key lime pie was sweet and not too tart. Definitely a good place to go after a beach day and get good food and drinks to keep a chill vibe going. The waiters made us feel like long time friends. And she was very attentive even with having other tables.

I've been coming to Toasted Monkey since January 2022 during my first college visit, and it has always been an amazing experience. The vibes are great, the food is consistently good, and the beach breeze makes it such a fun spot to visit. While they were closed for a few months due to the hurricane, I was so glad to come back once they reopened and were fully restored.

Come for the views, be blown away by the food. We had a lovely Sunday upstairs watching the world go by while enjoying the wonderful Asian lettuce wraps. The sauce was yummy and I'm regretting not getting a second order. Service was wonderful! Excited to go back.

Food- honestly a pretty good amount of seafood. Was a little nervous to try since there was no photos on yelp of this but was pleasantly surprised with how much seafood is on it. It didn't mention Parmesan on the menu so that was also a pleasant surprise. It was good just not excellent but it is a bar so don't expect crazy restaurant experience Service- nice waitress but nothing super attentive to add to the experience Ambiance-cute, went on a weeknight and it was a bit of an older crowd but think it'd be great for families even. Sit on the second floor if you don't want too loud or music Parking- EASY BUT I got there around 630pm on a weeknight. Likely a lot more difficult on the weekend. Parking on street apparently free after 8pm but they do also have two lots.

Great location and the food was also good. We stopped in to watch a college basketball game outside while listening to live music. Great vibe and service and I love that I could take my dog as well!

Annika and Heidi are AMAZING, informative, fun, and overall easy going. Food is so good. This is a laid back beach bar. Don't come here and b1t€h because they don't have valet parking and caviar. I could've spent my whole day with these lady's at the wonder spot with the best views!!

Nice place for drinks and food. This has the look and feel of a locals place, and the view of the water is really nice. Went in on a Tuesday and heard some nice music playing and enjoyed some great drinks and food. Had the peel and eat shrimp, and to my delight, the shrimp were deveined and very easy to peel. Wife ordered majo majo tacos with firecracker sauce, and she enjoyed them. Margarita and painkiller drinks were in order, and both were made top notch.

I had a great experience at Toasted Monkey while on vacation. The food was very delicious (especially the fried pickles). The staff was very fun and welcoming. I loved the live music, the vibes were overall very high!

Great little spot for dinner. Indoor and outdoor seating with several bar areas and love music. This place got packed really early,, but we were able to get a table upstairs after a short wait. The food was really good, we all enjoyed our meals (I got tacos as usual). Only complaint I have is that as I was reaching over the table to grab a zucchini fritter from my dining partner, the assistant server came up and set my food down underneath my arm, to avoid hitting his arm I ended up dropping the fritter (onto my purse, loaded with marinara sauce) and knocking my drink all over the table. He just walked away without acknowledging anything and I was really annoyed but did not say anything to my server...not her fault, she was GREAT. Her name was Anika I believe. We ordered what I call fru-fru (sweet) alcoholic beverages, and they were kind of weak. The live entertainment was pretty good and there was a massive crowd having a great time. They played 80's rock music. Parking can be a challenge on the weekends. We parking about two blocks away in a hotel lot, it was about $18 for 4 hours.

We came here one night for drinks and after seeing the menu knew we had to come back for a meal. The food looked so amazing and it was very hard to choose which option to go with. For the app we had the crab Rangoon dip and the Midwesterner in me was missing my cheese so we also had the Wisconsin cheese curds. The cheese curds were pretty classic and the Parmesan cheese on top added a nice twist. The crab dip... I'm drooling just thinking about it. If you like crab you need to get that app. For the meal, I had the Surf and Turf with coconut shrimp. Sweet Mary was I glad I did. The steak was cooked to absolute perfection and the coconut shrimp with spicy Thai sauce was so good. The shrimp had the perfect crunch while the shrimp themselves were tender. They also have a wide variety of drinks and beers which was nice to try some new things. I do also want to do a shout out to Robert who was our waiter. He was phenomenal! Orders perfectly taken, he was polite yet had some fun and laughs with us, and was very patient when a couple people in our group were "picky" eaters. While he had several tables he was serving he was always right there if he noticed our waters or drinks being close to empty. Food will make people talk, but food and service will bring people back. The food was top notch and the service was some of the best in town. I'll admit, we were hungry and I forgot pictures of the actual food... the desserts (S'Mores Brownie Sundae and the Key Like Pie) were also amazing.

There was a section with some toys to entertain kids which was a nice touch! Service was good and it wasn't super busy when we got there as it was after the lunch rush. Our table ordered a lot of different dishes. We got the bang bang shrimp, which was delicious and probably the highlight of the meal. I got a lobster roll with fries for my entree and it was okay. There was a ton of lettuce on it, which I was not a fan of and the bun split very easily. I ended up just eating the lobster straight off the plate. Definitely not worth the price in my opinion. I'd go with something else. My girlfriend got the Lobster Alfredo and it was not good. The pasta was super doughy and overcooked. The Alfredo sauce itself didn't have a lot flavor either. The whole thing was just not good and once again not worth the price. Our niece got butter noodles and they were the same way. Overcooked and tasted like they'd been sitting in water or something. She didn't eat it. I would skip the pasta entrees. The other item we were disappointed with was the Crab Rangoon dip. It had a fishy tang to it that we weren't a fan of. Someone in our group got the tacos for taco Tuesday and said they were good. Chicken tenders were also yummy. Overall, we had an okay experience. If we came back, we'd go with different items on the menu for sure.

Caddy's held a special place in my family's heart as we visited there often for years, and holds many a fond memory of our times spent at Caddy's. We were heartbroken when we heard about the destruction of this location during the devastating storm a few years back. Fast forward to this past April, we were so thrilled to learn that this Caddy's location was to reopen! So during our vacation this week, back to the area, my family and I were so excited to head to Caddy's to enjoy a dinner once again. We paid for parking and made our way quickly to the bar and picnic table area. We didn't see any signage or a hostess stand in the sand area. We were unsure if it was a seat yourself restaurant or we just couldn't find the hostess stand. We encountered a server and politely asked if we should seat ourselves, or do we need to see a host or hostess? The server then proceeded to look at us as if we were stupid and then barked at us, "well obviously if you want to eat at any restaurant you need to be seated by a hostess" She then proceeded to tell us as if we were stupid that they are the ones that give you the menus. She rolled her eyes and laughed in a very condescending way. We were so upset by this disrespectful and demeaning treatment that my husband and I received. I just took our two little daughter's hands and left. We are just devastated by this experience as we were hoping this return to Caddy's would be a highlight of our family vacation...given the many happy memories we have visiting Caddy's! But tonight, we took our business elsewhere.
