He really seemed to enjoy his job and genuinely enjoyed working. let me add.. the drinks were delish. I believe his name may have been Braydon (spelling). He was a very nice young man and provided excellent service. I just wanted to take a moment to recognize him and let you know that his positive attitude and professionalism really stood out. Luma Bar was such a pleasant surprise! We usually don't sit at the bar because the experience often depends on the bartender, but John completely changed our minds. He was one of the best bartenders we've had in a long time, friendly, fun to talk to, and full of great recommendations. His drink suggestions were spot on. The Espresso Tahini Martini was absolutely amazing, and the THC drink was incredibly relaxing. We also loved the gnocchi and beef appetizer with naan bread and the dipping sauce he recommended. I wish I could remember the name because it was that good! It's the perfect little spot to relax while waiting for a sunset cruise. I rarely leave bad reviews but this one deserved it. Went in last night and everything basically was left with a couple bites taken out of it. The salad that cost $24 was served in a small paper bowl, so not only was it more like a side salad instead of an entree- it wasn't even good or fresh. The mahi tacos were just "ok" and the fried calamari was cold and rubbery. The meal was $90 for one drink, three waters, two "entrees" and an appetizer and it was not worth a dime and all left nearly untouched. Both the bar back and bartender heard us complain but offered to do nothing to rectify the situation. Wont be spending money here ever again. read more

It is a very limited beach bar menu. They have great drinks. The blueberry spritz was amazing.. our second night dining there we went up at 5 PM and told them we had eight and we were going to need two high chairs. The first high chair was still right nearby since we had been there the night before. The entire rooftop was packed and they only had one server. I felt really bad for her trying to keep up with everything. Additionally, because it was Labor Day weekend, they had a very limited menu of hamburgers or mahi tacos, which ended up being cold. But the worst part was we had two toddlers and they were not serving the kids menu! No french fries no chicken tenders. It was a very, very disappointing experience. read more

Beautiful views! I could barely tear myself away. However, the food didn't knock me out and it took a while to get service (even after waving someone down), but I suppose I wasn't dressed like a tourist and not staying at the resort, so maybe that was why. It's really nice that its there and open to everyday people, so I wont complain too much. I ordered the Mahi tacos which were okay and the order came with fries. I will definitely try something different next time as I didnt realize the tacos were flour and I am gluten free. It would have been nice to know that. read more

I'm giving this 4 stars because we were there at 2pm and they were out of Tuna Tartare, Calamari', and something else. So 2/3 of the appetizers weren't available. I can't believe I am only the second person to yelp this place but honestly I have drove by here 1000 times and always thought it was abandoned. Got a few of emails and thought it would be worth checking out. So glad we did! This place is a true hidden gem! You can stop in even if you are not staying here. Plenty of parking and a short walk to to the the bar. Crazy busy and live music. Fun place. Had to grab a bar seat as all the tables were taken but after sitting facing the water we decided these would do. Bartender came out and took drink orders. Nice but you could tell she was busy. Looking over the food menu it all sounded good and I read that the food was pretty good. Started with wings. They weren't dressed but were cooked perfectly. Would've liked them to have a sauce but they were good. For me I had the Double smash with sidewinder fries. Really well made. Good cook and fries were tasty. Deb got the Ahi tuna nachos. Beautiful day at this hidden gem. Service was amazing. Food? That took a long time - longer than necessary and when it arrived it was not super hot - but - and this is big - the service and staff were amazing. Eric the manager made us feel like we mattered and the view cannot be beat. We know this is a fairly new property and there are growing pains. We just hope they figure them out before season. This place is amazing. My wife and I would always see it off the highway while coming from the Skyway bridge into St. Pete. We finally decided to go there and I am so glad we did. Amazing view, amazing staff and amazing food and drinks. I definitely told my friends about this place. They have a great happy hour and bands that play there. After a fun afternoon out on the water, our friends pulled up and docked at this awesome location. They offer plenty of slips and docking here is super easy, thanks to the friendly staff who guide you right to your spot. The atmosphere is wonderfully laid-back, reminiscent of a beach bar, complete with live music and stunning views. I had a craving for a fish sandwich and it was a letdown that they weren't available. I opted for the pulled chicken sandwich instead, and it did not disappoint. The chicken was generously coated in a delectable house-made comeback sauce, adding a delightful kick, and was perfectly complemented by a layer of crunchy pickles on top. I had ordered the house-made chips, but our server mistakenly brought French fries. Surprisingly, it turned out to be a fortunate mix-up, as my husband said the chips were soggy. The fries were unique, and it was clear they were house-made. They were pillowy and soft on the inside, with a crispy, crunch exterior, they were highly addictive. Our friends ordered the soft shell crab sandwich after their first choice was unavailable. My husband decided on the double smash burger. The service was slow, and I'm not sure if it was our server or if the food had been sitting for a while, but our dishes arrived lukewarm. What's more our friends brought their golden retriever along, and our attentive server endured she had plenty of fresh water. She was also a hit at the bar in her cute pink shark life vest! What a great beach cocktail bar! They have 2 levels and both levels have bars. The place is thru a hotel and the area is so cute and makes you feel like you're in the islands somewhere. The food was awesome, the ahi tuna tacos were super fresh. Smoked fish dip amazing and we forgot to take a pic of the smashburger because we dive into it right away. Our waitress Kate was wonderful and it was her first night! You wouldn't have known had she not said anything about it. The entire place is a vibe. It will be a new go to for sure! read more

Tuna tarata was amazing. I almost ordered a second as my meal. Huge pieces of tune and avocado. Wife got the sprout salad and was surprised with the quality. Sat at the bar and had the burger, fries and a drink. All was good but the service by the bartender was not it... the bar back did more than he did. I understand completely if it's busy but we were one of the only ones at the bar/restaurant and after we ordered, he didn't check on us until we were done with our meal (as we watched him talk to another customer the entire time). We live in the neighborhood and were super excited to have another place near by but unfortunately will not be coming back if the service doesn't improve. read more
