We've been coming here for a long time, lately it seems they are having trouble keeping bartenders. New faces often and only 2 people on a Saturday night so everyone waited for drinks and food. Not a fan of the nachos, very small not a good value. Sandwiches were ok. Prices are pretty high. $6.25 for a bottle of Miller Lite, $10.40 for an IPA. I'm sure we'll be back for a drink occasionally but will pass on the food. read more

A group of us went there to see how their karaoke night worked. Not only was the karaoke great, but the servers we're right on top of their game as well. There were several of us in the group and at one point we had to shuffle chairs and our server was able to keep track of who is with who her ordering. I had a delicious Cuban sandwich which honestly could've been pressed a little bit longer. My wife had a turkey club which she said was delicious. It was a beer and wine place only but they carried my favorite IPA, Elysian space dust. They also had a nice 9 ounce pour of wine so my wife enjoyed a couple of nice Chardonnay's. It's got a nice beachy atmosphere with two walls opening to the outside bar with seating for patrons there as well. read more

So this review is only what I experienced. Kitchen is very limited right now. Still trying to get there place back to "normal". So was looking for a place to sit at the bar and enjoy some food and beers. But again because of the limits didn't offer much. Had chicken nachos. Very small and not a lot of chicken. Beer wasn't the coldest. But the bartender didn't get his name was really nice and very engaging. Probably will try it again when there back up. read more

Decent location across the street from the beach, but there is a giant hotel or condos in front blocking your view of anything so really all you can see is The car is going by in the street that being said the bar itself has a nice vibe to it. Bartender was awful. They're only two other people in the entire place and the guy couldn't have seemed less interested in his job or any of us. I ordered a tap beer and at least a quarter of it maybe a third of the glass was foam now of course you're supposed to put a head on a beer just not nearly that much. Food menu is very limited... This is really more of a bar that has a little bit of food if you were looking for lunch or dinner it's probably not the place for you . We decided to start with the chicken nachos and see if we wanted more food after that. The chicken nachos were very tasty, but it was far and away the smallest order of nachos I've ever seen in my entire life. It was not a good value. It's legit enough for maybe one person.. it advertises itself as a Kansas City Chiefs bar you would think they would have some excellent barbecue, but I guess not. Maybe a decent spot to stop for a couple of drinks but other than that it's a pass. Way too many other great spots in the area.. read more

If you don't like the KC Chiefs, then you won't like the decor. Everything is about them. But that isn't why I'm giving 2 stars. The food was not very good. I ordered the pulled pork sliders. They were served on very burnt (probably Hawaiian sweetbread rolls, which I normally like when not burned). My husband ordered one of the subs which was just basic lunchmeat on a bun and something you can make at home. I do give 5 stars to the bartender Brandon. He was the redeeming factor of that place. read more

The service was really slow and seemed understaffed. We eventually asked about the status of our food, server said the "computer lost the order". She likely never put order in. Waited an hour total for nachos and flatbread both really bad. Drinks made with some sort of wine based alcohol that tasted strange. Would never return or recommend. I'm really happy to see beach places opening back up after the hurricane. This is a chiefs backers bar and the place is super cool. You can sit outside or inside, beer is cold and AC is cranked. We didn't eat but we'll be back. read more

Lucky lizard was a quick 5 minute walk from my hotel. I stopped in for lunch and it was pretty empty. Marty the bartender was friendly and attentive. I ordered a hard cider and the chicken nachos. The cider was ice cold and had great flavor. The nachos came out fast, hot and overflowing on the plate. Every chip had toppings and I couldn't finish the plate. FYI this is a Kansas City Chiefs bar LOL there are KC flags and a Travis Kelce fathead to take pics with if you want. read more

Met friends here for lunch who drove over from Orlando. We arrived shortly after they opened at 11am and opted to sit outside on the patio. We were seated promptly and the food was pretty good. We enjoyed the parmesan garlic pretzel bites with beer cheese and the nachos. I was happy to see a vegetarian nacho option with just black beans, and the toppings were very fresh. Unfortunately, service was not great and the food came out very slowly. A friend's order was not correct until the third time it was brought out. Hopefully our experience is not the norm. read more

Stopped for Monday lunch 2pm. Limited menu. Ordered the nachos and the turkey avocado sandwich. The nacho's with shredded chicken was good and decent size. The sandwich was pretty thin and nothing that great about it. Service was good. I would have given 4 stars but when I got the bill all items were higher priced then what was on the menu. I asked about it and was told that they up charge 4% for credit card. I don't mind if i know about it ahead of time but they brought me the bill without asking me if i was paying cash or charge. I payed cash and they took the Uncharge off the bill. Its not the 2.00$, its the principal. Ask me first and then let me decide. If i didn't look at the bill im paying the up charge. it was fine. nothing really wow'd us but Danielle did like her Cuban sandwich and I liked her coleslaw (something was different about it - maybe sweet and sour dressing added?). anyway, server was good and my tacos were fine - though the corn and cabbage slaw on it was a little weird tasting. the chips served w/ salsa were also nice. the seafood dip was probably the least appealing we'd had all week but was still fine. it was served w/ the same corn chips (and those little melba toast things) and maybe that was part of the issue... captain's wafers all the way. anyway, not much seafood on the menu other than that but the if you don't want seafood it might be a good place to try. read more

Our first time in and we ordered chips and salsa for appetizer $6, Turkey avocado and cheddar sandwich with a side garden salad $12, and seared ahi tuna tacos on romaine leafs with side of chips and salsa $13.50. Everything was soooo good. I don't usually like salads but I'm trying to reduce my carb intake when I can and this salad with a balsamic vinaigrette was really good. The lettuce was fresh and not full of the white stalks that I really hate. Tomatoes were chopped(I don't usually eat tomato's on a salad), pickled onions, shavings of cheese. Every bit of it was really good. The Turkey avocado and cheddar sandwich was also very tasty. The ahi tacos were very tasty especially with the wasabi aoli. The chips and salsa were really good too. The salsa wasn't chunky and had a perfect flavor, not overly spicy. Our only complaint was the low amount of salsa. This is a very small restaurant and bar with indoor and outdoor seating. 8 tables inside and an 8 seat bar inside but the bar also faces the covered porch and the restaurant is open air and there is good airflow throughout. Our server was Violet and she was friendly and charming. We recommend a visit to the Lucky Lizard Tap House. read more

Recently moved in the area and Just happen to find this little quaint spot near the beach. It's a new spot and what I like most about it was the friendliness and no fuss on parking spots like most on the strip near the beach. I came on a Sunday noon no wait. The clean inside area, also serves outside bar area. It's a perfect place to hop in for a quick delicious bite to eat and have a few beers before heading back to the beach. read more

The brand new "Lucky Lizard Tap House" in North Madeira Beach next to the Daiquiri Shak has just opened their doors Wednesday and we just had to try-out their great "Happy Hour Specials" from 3-6PM. Domestic Draft Beer is 75¢ off and $1 off of domestic bottles and glasses of wine. My 3 favorite lite beers are on tap, Mich Ultra, Miller Lite and Bud Lite. The glasses are tall and served ice cold with very friendly & attentive service. The open-aire atmosphere of the Gulf Boulevard outside bar is welcoming for locals and tourists alike. Our first impression as long-time Madeira Beach residents was that we had really liked it and felt both comfortable and very welcome! This brand new establishment is sparkling clean and quite tastefully done, but does appear slightly lacking in the decor/accessory category and management has assured us they are just getting started in the "accessory category" and declared "But Wait, there's more!" coming soon! We then decided to try a few of their appetizers off the newly printed limited menu and were quite impressed by the kitchens performance. Our first try, "Street Corn Dip (spicy) w/Crostini" was a crunchy toasted bread with a very tasty & cheesy spicy dip full of Mexican street corn kernels and we just loved it! Our next sampling was the "Seared Ahi Tuna" with soy sauce & wasabi and it rivaled any Sushi Bar we've visited in recent past, excellent! The arugula base was drizzled in dressing and delicious as well. Our third choice, as we're still a little hungry ... the Lucky Natcho's but we ordered it vegetarian style with avocado and added beans. This was very good with an absolutely delicious house made cheese sauce that made us completely clean the plate! After these great apps, we were still a lil Hungree so we ordered the Parmesan & Garlic Pretzel Nuggets with Beer Cheese and were simply "WOWED" once more! Little skewered pretzel bits with a bowl of beer cheese that was plenty for all the pretzels. For a three day new establishment we were quite impressed by the prompt attentive service, the welcoming atmosphere and the delicious culinary offerings! We have been anxiously awaiting their opening as locals walking past almost daily for many months and were very impressed by our first visit of what we expect to be many more! Came here today on a whim. The service was AMAZING!!! Our waitress was so kind and helpful. Food, however., was VERRRY OVERPRICED we just ordered an app due to the overpricing. We got 8 pretzel balls for $7 . They also offered a puppy-plate for $5. We said sure! It was 3 rolled pieces of thinly sliced meat and took 4 medium sized bones and put them on a plate. However, we ended up at the 'Lucky Lizard' after having the worst experience EVER from a neighboring bar (which WAS a favorite place of ours... until now).
