The drunken clam is a fun restaurant/ bar! The atmosphere is loud and lively and a great vacation spot to drink and hang out. However, I wouldn't recommend their food. They had a sign that says they have award winning wings. We ordered the garlic Parmesan ones and they were good, but nothing special. For my main course I had the blackened mahi mahi over yellow rice. It wasn't hot and wasn't very good. Full bar menu and the bar tender was very friendly! We were visiting and told to check this spot out. Did not disappoint. The little lady bartending on July 22nd was the SWEETEST and made us not want to leave. Ahi Tuna at a Dive This is the premiere local (dive bar) in St. Pete. I say that with love--if you are looking for a fancy place to get an over priced meal this is not the place. If you are looking for a fun bar with awesome food this is the only place for you! Mostly locals in the daytime enjoying a beer at the bar and the evening gets very busy with a mix of locals and tourists. Try the wings and the ahi tuna--fantastic! Now this is a dive bar. TVs lining the bar area and everyone's eyes are watching them. Small little area inside with a bunch of bar tables for people to watch the games and seats lining the bar. There are a few tables outside for just grabbing something to eat here. There were two ladies taking drink orders and food orders. They were holding the fort down making sure everyone in the place was being taken care of and this place did get busy for Sunday football. Everyone here was nice and very into the games cheering, yelling at the screens, and bantering with fellow football watchers. Chicken Wing Review: The sauce was what you would expect from a medium buffalo. The right amount of flavor and heat to them. I do wish the sauce clung to the wings a bit better. We came here for an early dinner. It took quite a while to get waited on. There were two servers, one in white and one in black. The one in white was so extremely rude! Sad for the girl in black because girl in white lost their tip (they both waited on us). We were there on Sunday, 4/26/26. Ordered our food and got it about 40 mins later. The drunken clam is always a must go to whenever I am in St Pete's Beach. It's a dive bar with a laid back atmosphere. The wings are MOUTHWATERING! I ordered their Cajun Parmesan wings- which is what they are famous for! They are fresh wings that are made to order. So it's possible to take up to 22 min to receive them, but it's definitely worth it! Unfortunately the prices of the wings have basically doubled. They went from 5 wings for $5.95, 10 piece wings for $8.25 and 20 piece wings for $13.96 to market price. I took one of the staff members recommendations and got the blackened Mahi Mahi with a side salad. Good quality fish- would order again! The fries are also addictively delicious here as well. The Drunken Clam is a straw free bar/ restaurant so don't forget your environmentally friendly reusable straw! This place rocks. At 2 on a Sunday afternoon we stopped in and sat at the last 4-top available!. Missed the Sunday make your own Bloody Mary by minutes butwill go earlier next time. This is a must go-to old Florida beach bar. There is bar seating, inside and outside seating. The floor leans a bit which adds to the ambiance. Four of us enjoyed reasonably prices cocktails served quickly and proficiently by one or the other bartenders. Both were pleasant and ensured we had a good time. We ordered a hot dog (Chicago-style with chili), Beach Burger (1/2# with lettuce, tomato & onion), 2-piece Big Fish Fry (hand-battered filet served with coleslaw, French fries & tartar sauce, and Breaded Fried Clam Strips w/fries, All of the food was decent bar food but the fish fry was the best that day (sorry for only posting the clams and fries which I truly enjoyed). The food was served hot and in a timely fashion. One day soon we'll stop in for breakfast. I love this place. We staycation in St. Pete Beach all the time and love this place because it's full of locals, has live music and plenty of tv's in case it's football season! If you do not like local dive bars, don't go here. But if you do, this place is super cool. Really good drinks, pitchers, and reasonable prices. The chicken wings are awesome. They had live music the night we were there which was very fun. We visited while staying down the street within walking distance. We will be back on our next trip to St. Pete. read more

We were visiting St. Pete's Beach and stumbled at this local restaurant. When looking online it appears to be a seafood place along with other options. For starters the outside seats were incredibly uncomfortable. We waited a good amount of time for our food which is fine because we thought we were getting fresh seafood, this was not the case. The shrimp plate I got tasted like bagged shrimped that was breaded and deep fried twice. It was absolutely gross! I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

Super cool beach bar!!!! We loved the name in our Beach Dive Bar Quest... is fun and has perfect ambiance.... servers were so friendly and did a great job recommending food and drink. We were there for snacks & cocktails! Tuna Dip and beers... so delicious and really hit the spot after all day at the beach. Many customers were super friendly and came there to eat from all over.
