The atmosphere is very positive and uplifting, my daughter (who is now 8) does not feel stressed out by math anymore and in fact she told me she loves going to best brains but sometimes hates going to school. I think its the people who work there that make the place so inviting for the kids. And of course after attending for almost a year now, her grades have really improved and she is now in her own words " second smartest kid in her class". There's a difference between giving parents a realistic picture and openly mocking a kid's potential to their face, and this was the latter. We walked out that day in shame, thinking we were silly to have aspirations of 1550+ SAT score. We ended up signing up for one of their prep packages because we were successfully scared into thinking our child was woefully inadequate. In retrospect, the score for the section we signed up for barely budged between the start and the end of the tutoring we paid for. The part that still sticks with me: my child went on to score above that seemingly impossible number in under three months! If you're a parent considering this place, go in with your eyes open and don't let anyone talk down what your child is capable of.
