It came with a perfect medium egg on request, sour creme, chorizo and crispy chips. Bloody Marty was delightfully fresh tasting. Garnish was a good genoa salami and seasoned veggies. I asked for the spicy (sometimes a dangerous choice), it was a good balance of heat and did not overpower the flavor. The wife ordered the fried rice and ham. She enjoyed it faster than I could take a Pic, so try it for sure. Service from John was prompt, and attentive and always with a smile. As we walked in you could tell some of the staff was overwhelmed the vibe was a little tense & waiter tried seating two parties but all empty tables were still dirty so he had to apologize and clean them off. We got seated & waitress came to see what we wanted to drink but also seamed stressed. Honestly felt bad for her. But food was good. We didn't get some of the condiments we asked for like jelly for our toast but there was butter on our plates so all was well. read more

Tried Toasty's for the first time and it was pretty solid. Service was great and the food was all delish. Here's a quick rundown of what we got: Breakfast sandwich Biscuits and gravy Hangover fried rice Corned beef hash Blueberry pancakes Original platter Doughnut holes for the table Coffee Grapefruit juice I really liked the space and décor, but they missed the mark on the bench seating. The seat is just not deep enough and very uncomfortable for the average person. I'm small and petite and it even bothered me. I actually witnessed another patron who appeared perplexed as he tried his best to adjust on the small bench seat. Perhaps they were trying to maximize the long and narrow galley-sized space, but this is going to be an on-going problem unless they fix it. If they truly want their patrons to dine, chill and hang out for awhile...the seating had better be comfy. Otherwise it's a great new addition to the Montrose community and we welcome them wholeheartedly - you just won't ever find us sitting at a table with the bench seating. read more

Sadly, I have been here 4 times and each time I leave disappointed. The atmosphere is cute and the staff is friendly, but the food is not good. The chicken is tough, I couldn't even bite into it. Before leaving Montrose I was able get some breakfast at Toasty. It's a great restaurant with friendly service and tasty food. I had the Breakfast Bowl, which has breakfast potatoes, sausage, your choice of egg, and sausage gravy. You can also get it with green chili for an additional charge. I had it with the green chili and it was delicious. I was worried that having the chili and gravy might be too much but it worked really well together. The other food coming out looked good and I am hoping to come back and try some of their other dishes. read more

The all-day eatery doesn't mean it's open all day (they close after the lunch rush at 2:00 p.m.) but they serve outstanding burgers, berry avocado toast with eggs your way, a homemade corned beef hash which is not as salty as other restaurants - add your own if you need sodium, people, and fluffy buttermilk pancakes with just a hint of cinnamon served alongside fresh berries and warmed maple syrup. This is a really cute place with a good selection of menu items. It was a busy Sunday morning and I was able to find a seat at the bar & was greeted quickly. The staff were friendly and the food was very good. The crab cake Benedict had perfectly cooked poached eggs, tasty sauce with a kick of old bay, and the crab tasted sweet and delicious. Food was good BUT took 55 unreasonable minutes to be served. I was disappointed. I was about to leave when the food came.

Most uncomfortable chairs ever. I tried 3. No I am not obese. Urban grunge decor. Ordered, waited 45 minutes, and saw other people who had come in long after us get food. We had to leave without eating. I personally dislike urban grunge - not comfortable, and usually loud because of lack of soft surfaces. However, I didn't notice excessive noise even though it was full. 2 restrooms, one stayed locked the entire time we waited. It's up to you. read more

Toasty's - still has some major hiccups with service, menu items were limited due to order of food supplies during my visit, and my server was very uncomfortable with the menu not seeming to know the basics of the dishes. We ordered a dirty vanilla chai, a cappuccino, a basic two egg breakfast and their Chilaquiles dish. The drinks were good but not coffee house quality. The food ordered was good but took quite some time to the table. I believe a lot of these things will be worked out over the next few weeks as they have just recently opened. Montrose is and was in desperate need of good breakfast places so I'm hoping my next experience here will be better. We want to see all of our new restaurants succeed. This is a nice addition to the breakfast scene in Montrose. Their food is tasty. The menu is eclectic, choices of more unusual breakfasts like Hangover fried rice. I had the Breakfast bowl of potatoes, sausage, and gravy with an egg on top! Green chile on the side if you want. Nice. Friends had the Chilaquiles which is a huge plate of food. If I could give the service of this place NEGATIVE stars I would. I came in for a nice breakfast with my mother and toddler, I have never been treated so terribly by a waitress. We sat in the back of the building to be away from everyone since we understand toddlers can be messy, my son had gotten his breakfast potato's on the floor and our waitress had walked up shook her head at the floor and walked off, then came back with a broom and aggressively cleaned under my child and then said under her breath "Ugh this kid". As she was cleaning up one singular person had walked by and our waitress made it her time to shine by turning around and saying to the lady walking by "Sorry I need to clean this mess up before someone breaks their neck". The lady had just blankly stared at her and walked off. Aside from that fiasco towards the end of our experience. We had been ignored for a majority of the time we had been there, she had helped everyone around us at least 5 times before she had even batted an eye at us. We sat down at about 9:56 ordered our food at about 10:20 we didn't get our food until about 11:00 and hadn't left until about 11:25 while we waited for our food our empty drinks were ignored, and we were not even checked on once. When we had ordered our food she was smug and acted annoyed by us. After my toddler had gotten his food the service only got worse she would walk around and glare at him while we were trying to eat. Our waitress was the older waitress working, and made us feel terrible, the food was okay, but we payed $73 not including the tip for terrible service and "okay" food.
