I've seen some not so great reviews on here and that really surprises me. Every time I come to tobacco world both the owner, and the other gentleman that works there consistently are a huge help. They have a fantastic selection of both cigars and pipes, additionally they have a great bulk tobacco variety! People often shop online these days for "a better price", I have found that buying local really doesn't cost more once you take into consideration shipping, time waiting for your item and lack of customer service the internet provides you. Instead I prefer to support local shops, with knowledge staff, a great selection and good pricing. I love this place and will continue to support them for years to come. read more

This shop is fantastic. Has worked wonderfully for me since my 1st visit 2+ years ago.

I know nothing about smoking anything and asked around the office for thoughts as I had purchased a cigar assortment from an online retailer for my son's 21st birthday. He also doesn't smoke so I was just looking for advise. Someone suggested reaching out to Tobacco World and after reading reviews of how helpful they are I decided to go ahead and call. I led up front with the fact that I know nothing and didn't know about Tobacco World before making my purchase online but was still hopeful they could give me some thoughts. I suspected they might even try and get me in the door to buy something else instead (which I wouldn't have been totally opposed to as I want this to be a good experience for my son). He could've even talked down the cigars I had and I would've probably believed him. Instead, the guy just said "so you bought cigars somewhere else and you want my thoughts on them, eh?" I again apologized but said yes, that is what I was hoping for. He just said "that's not cool, is it?" I admit, it's not necessarily "cool" and a side of me can even see how it looks to him, but it also wasn't meant as a slight and he could've tried to earn a customer but instead chose to try and belittle or humiliate me so not only will I NOT be a customer there, but I took time to let others know of the experience. That won't detract some (and isn't really meant to), but may detract others. read more

This spot is one of the few regrets I have moving away from Spokane. Pope selection that would make old Bing blush. Cigar selection and cigar knowledge fitting for a front lawn beer drinking king. Easily a must go whenever I'm in the neighborhood! read more

My father and I went in to your store on the 2 th of September at around 2. When we entered the employee sat on his laptop was uninterested in the customer service at all. Tried to pay in cash was indignant because we did not use credit cards and then persuaded to tell me the computer was down, telling me that He didn't like it either.. After that experience I WILL NEVER RETURN. Your employee should aquire some work ethics. Because of his attitude he shouldn't even work there. EXTREMELY BAD!!!!! read more

The service and selection are fantastic, and I won't go anywhere else to get my tobacco. TWIMC - this is a cut 'n paste from Google plus review - I stand by it, I just didn't want to type it twice: Tobacco World is the only real cigar shop in all of greater Spokane. Selection is very good, customer service has always been excellent and the price is reasonable. I bought cigars from Cuba rollers makers in the Keys, ditto Little Italy and other than those 2 experiences this is as good as it gets in terms of Tobacco World. An unqualified 5 stars from someone whose opinion matters. ( and who is going out to the hot tub and have a Dominican Cohiba now)! read more

The best tobacco shop in Spokane Washington!!! I go there weekly, and I have never been let down. The gentleman running this shop do an amazing job , the love to chat, they know there products, and have never let me down. They have a wide selection of tobacco, and if the don't have it, They will special order it for you. They are also the only place that sells Swedish snus. I'm am I'mpressed all around with this shop. I'm a beginner pipe smoker so I'm still learning what types of pipes and tobaccos I like. I was a little anxious about my first trip to a pipe shop just because there's so many different types of pipes and tobacco and it seemed like it'd be overwhelming. It wasn't. I went here in search of a Christmas present for my husband, who occasionally enjoys a nice pipe smoke. This place is delightful! Not only did they help me find a lovely pipe tobacco that smells amazing for me to be around, but they were very helpful in finding a new pipe to go along with it. Very knowledgeable, very helpful with advice, and my husband LOVED the Jubilee tobacco. The best part - it's not a head shop. read more

Thought I'd try pipe smoking and these folks have been very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful during several of my times shopping there. I also like their low key style. They are the best place for buying cigars, pipe tobacco, and the various needed accesories that I have found in the Spokane area. I'd like to give them 4 1/2 stars (after all 5 stars is 'perfection' and not many things are that). I recommend them highly to cigar & pipe smokers or to any of their friends/family wanted to buy a gift for those who enjoy fine tobacco. read more
