The swimming experience was enjoyable, but the food was very disappointing. After swimming for a while, we decided to visit the food stand. We ordered two ICEEs, two pizzas, and one order of nachos. Unfortunately, the ICEEs were not very cold, were only partially filled, and did not meet our expectations. The pizzas were also disappointing. They were extremely small--about the size of my hand--and much smaller than a typical personal pizza. The sauce appeared dried out, and the pizza was served cold. The nachos were equally underwhelming and did not seem fresh. Overall, while we enjoyed the swimming facilities, the food quality did not match the experience. I would recommend bringing your own food if permitted, rather than purchasing food on-site. 30$ was the cost by the way

We got there mid afternoon and, by chance, were able to score a table. Outdoor pool is divided into shallow and deep ends. Also, it has a diving board an adjacent overhead shaded overhang, seats, loungers and a cantina for concessions. Mind the cantina hours. I purchased the nachos with jalapeños. Cheese topping was ample. Portion was totally share-able. Remember to ask for paper towels! Staff was on their game. Door staff was able to locate our reservation pretty efficiently. Life guards were alert. Outdoor pool has a process where all kids are asked out of the pool for the last 20 minutes on the hour. This allows for adults to share in an adults only swim. There's an outdoor shower, water fountain and restroom with hand dryers. Indoor area includes a waiting pool connected to the Lazy River, a couple slides, and another break out pool. There are chairs that hugged the walls for bathing suit cover ups, shoes, etc. There are no indoor cubbies. I would say bring toys/ etc items in here at your own risk. The Lazy River keeps a decent pace. There was an incident of sick child in the water and life guards handled it accordingly. The area was restricted for the rest of our time spent there. Splash pad section rocked. Fountains that would dump water, play squirting cannons, frogs to sit upon and so on. All and all, this was a solid place to have a kid's birthday. Additional families had the same idea. Many a celebration was had that day. Parking available for the center. Our party had a blast with the party favor being that kids slept hard that evening. A perfect regrouping before school beginning again. Enjoy!

I've had an obligation to go to this park at least once a year for basically my entire life (that I…read moreknow of) for one of the many family reunions I attend. Over the course of this time, I've seen this park go from it's best days to it's worst. Thank goodness, during the last couple of years the City of Hillsboro has been diligently cleaning, updating and repairing this place into something they can be proud of again. So, currently this park has a walking path, a few playground areas, some basketball hoops, one pavilion, a concert area (with working xylophones), a couple of baseball "areas" (I can't say diamonds, because they're just grassy areas with a fence for guarding foul balls) and one soccer field. With all the work they've been doing for this park, it's not perfect. The (one and only) bathrooms are usually a mess, the pavilion is old (as in, been there since I was a kid with the only repair being a paint job), the only thing you'll be doing on that basketball court is shooting baskets and the exercise break areas on the walking path are either fine or in poor shape. Aside from those issues though, this is a great place to take the kids for bike riding or playing on the playground equipment. But if you're looking for a more sports orientated park, I would suggest going to Wallace Park instead (just north of this park on Hwy 81).

We manage a nonprofit organization with all required federal documents needed to ensure we provide gear and equipment for our players. We visited this store on 06/14/2026 with the clear understanding that I was make various items purchases for a few players in our organization. The manager stated he needed to clarify with the owner who was attending a fifa game. As we he was confirming we attempted to find to correct size and items our players needed. Note I had informed the manager we are originally a hour away from them but just bc we came from a game near by we decided to stop their, I had already provided proof of our tax exemption. While waiting for a confirmation from management one of the employees that was supposed to be getting the kids shoe size was rudely attempting to blow off my player. As this associate was more concerned over the game on their tv than providing his service. Finally the manager stated that they could do the tax exemption as long as i provided the form that the store utilize to file their tax exemption purchases. I corrected the guy stating that the form he was asking for is what the stores have the clients fill out and it is not our responsibility to provide. At the end of the day we told them if they don't want our business we would gladly leave after making us waste our Sunday afternoon. Now today 06/15/2026 the manager calls me to tell me he found the form he was telling I had to bring. If I wanted to come back. The complex also charges $15 per car to park which makes them one of the only places we have to pay to play in a tournament as well as pay to park. There is also no running water which means there are only port-o-potties available. Most of the time there is no snack bar either. Compared to all the field complexes around the DFW area this one is at the bottom.
