I had a terrible experience. My wife made a mistake and signed up for a long-term package. I called up and explained it was a mistake. They would not refund my money. It was terrible management. I believe there was a Mathew who was a "higher-up" who could not care less if were happy. I would NOT go to this facility. read more

This review is only about the facility itself and not the teams. This is a large indoor soccer facility with two fields and a practice area. There is a small field fenced in for younger children and a large adult field. Although this is an indoor facility, the weather still affects the temperature but you don't get rained or or have to deal with freezing winds. Once you walk in there is an associate desk to the right. This is where you can sign up for a team or purchase soccer equipment. It is not a large selection but they do have some balls and various small equipments pieces. Across the desk is a party room available for rent. Straight ahead from the entrance door is the little soccer field with a metal bench for spectators. Bring a blanket to sit on because the beach is cold in the winter. Next to the field is the bathrooms and a concession stand. Don't get the funnel cakes, they are prelate and just sot there. Going further down the facility is the adult field, also fenced in and a small practice area. This is a nice area if your kids are serious about playing soccer. We have played for the city and at Blue Sky and much prefer the indoor soccer experience. read more

I really have bad experience tonight with the workers at toca at Keller. They are really un respectful. Special a worker call Steve. I don't agree that an employe can be a referee and don't take his job seriously. I know they get paid for it but they need to learn how to be more professional and respectful with the people. read more

horrible experience. My daughter went up to buy some water and ice cream, the lady "conviently" away without giving change to help another guy, even when she asked for it. When I walked up to get my change, she then said she could help, walked into an office away from the concession stand, and then helped three guys who walked up. I Don't understand it just have an issue with helping women or being called on the error. Never should have had to even walk up to correct this. Wish it went back to Blue Sky. read more

Incredibly poor management. The facility is dirty. No soap in the bathroom. Not even sure the staff ever looked up to my team as we entered the facility (a few teens on their phone). I'm pretty sure the property is more valuable than the current business. We will be going to Frisco after this season. read more

I should have checked reviews first.. The way Karen runs this facility is so terrible. When I originally signed my daughter up I opted to purchase the starter pack. The night before she was supposed to start class I have not heard anything about class at all and I called and they said that they were out of starter pack and they neglected to let anybody know. Fine, I'll figure out a way to get the items required for class. First Class went great. Second class they call us 45 minutes before we are supposed to be there and said that they don't have a coach. That's fine I understand. Today was supposed to be the third class and they sent an email 30 minutes before class started saying that they didn't have a coach again. We are literally in the car ready to go and now I have a crying 3 year old because Karen knew that there was not going to be a coach for over a week now and neglected to tell any parents. I called and she literally would not even let me speak she just kept saying "sorry, sorry, sorry." At least let someone speak when youve wasted their time, their money and their gas. You need to keep parents in the loop, you need to be organized, you need to have a back up for this like this- ESP when you have known for over a week. Overall this place is amazing. But I am giving it three stars for a few reasons. One is the website is a complete joke. It doesn't work. We had our 2 year old in an indoor league here this past winter. We opted for the league because all of the skills classes are during the day on weekdays so as a working parent, I am unable to make it. At this age, I would definitely opt for the skills class. The games were cute, but really was just a bunch of kids running around with no direction. The facility is decent although they could use a bigger parking lot as most of it is gravel. The pro shop is also not that appealing. There is a small and a large indoor field. There is an area with couches to gather either after games or while you wait for yours. The staff here is helpful, I think their website could be a little easier to use. read more

Paid for a full season which was cancelled due to COVID. Owner refused to provide refunds or credits to players for missing weeks not played. They kept our money and we didn't receive service. A good reputable business would at least provide a credit to be used for next season for the value of the missed weeks. read more

My son ended up in a 4 team league here. Our coach was told it was a rec league, but it's really our rec team and 3 other academy teams. Thankfully one of the opposing coaches actually displayed some class and had his kids let up so our team could get a couple of goals, but every other game is 0-8 (they stop the scoreboard at 8). This facility is clearly in it for the money, not for creating a competitive league for the kids to develop. If you are looking for a rec league, steer very clear of this place. read more

I am forced to give them 1 star because 0 stars is not a option. This place will take your money and mislead you. I signed my son up for recreational boys U9 indoor soccer. We later discovered that there were going to be girls in his league. That did not bother us until we realized that we are the only team in the league with girls. This is a competitive league since they are playing to be the league campions. We are a coed team but are not playing at coed rules. Then to make things worse our league of 6 teams has 3 club teams so technically we are playing in a club league with beginner players. I have personally tried to talk to the president / COO Jane Nauman but she refused to listen or attempt to come up with a solution. This is not the only case, I also have my girl signed up for U7 girls soccer on the little field and that league also a beginners league has club teams in it. It seems like both of my kids teams are just away for their club teams to get in a workout. Blue Sky Sports Center in the Colony only cares about taking your money and filling their leagues even it is on the backs of the young kids looking to learn the game of soccer and compete against other kids with the same skill level. Buyer beware and give them your money at your own risk. There are other indoor soccer locations in this area I would definitely look into them before making a decision to use this place. read more

My hubs plays in an over 30 soccer league here, and he really likes it. I haven't had the same negative experience that a previous reviewer had, but then again, I just go to watch the games. I have not had any dealings with the management or staff. There are several soccer places that are similiar to this one, but I think the field is bigger here. They have a little concession stand with snacks and drinks and their nets go really high around the field which is great---I don't have to watch for wild balls trying to hit me in the head. (Yup, that HAS happened at other places.) As far as location goes...this field is OUT THERE! Great facility! read more

OMG! I signed up my two kids for the first time for indoor soccer for Winter 2013. One for the large field and one younger kid for the small field. They have been playing since 4 years old at outdoor soccer associations and this facility and management is the absolute worse I have seen in some time. The referee's are ridiculous ( I don't think they are certified with NTSSA), the management is rude when you express a concern, and the other Coach's of the Teams that play here are total pompous men who like to ring up the score, even if it is 20-0. No control at all. Please, please, please note, if your child has played recreational soccer for years or if you Coach a recreational team, do not bring them to play at Blue Sky. You will find no recreational teams and brackets are 2-6 Competitive Soccer Teams that play each other twice in a 8-10 game Season. The Compeititve Team Coach's will take no mercy on you and the only reason they play indoor is to make their players feel proud for ringing up the score. Total waste of time and money! I would like the Owner or Investment Owners of Blue Sky Sport Center in the Dallas area to listen to what Customers are experiencing and make changes. I would imagine you all are losing tons of revenue!!! read more

Unless your child is already playing "academy/select" soccer, don't waste your money with this place. Your child will be placed on a team of 8-9 players ( where only 4 play at a time ) and get fed to the wolves. There is no intention of "fair" play. First time soccer players end up getting paired up with these elite teams so that their egos are stroked and Blue Sky gets rich. read more

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!! I enrolled my daughter for the junior league in the fall of 2010. I checked back online after I never heard from anyone and noticed that an extension was given a full 2 weeks and the fall league would be delayed. I received an email at 1:oo from this piece of trash business and was informed a parent meeting would be held at 7:00 that night. ( so much for an advanced notice for this working mom) I attended the meeting which was poorly planned and was then told you should have been in contact with the coach, which I had not. Several parents were upset, because this was the first line of communication from this organization and we were now being told someone should have contacted us by now. I faxed in a refund request as I didn't want my child to be apart of this mess! Two weeks later I emailed Jane, the "manager" and was informed they out refunds once a month. After this time had passed, I sent my first of 6 emails/ phone calls to Jane and after NO reply from her was told by other blue sky staff that my information would be forwarded to the owner, Pete. I didn't hear from Pete after I sent it 2 requests (WOW, way to conduct a business Pete) and received an email from Jane 2 months later that my refund request was on her desk and that they didn't do refunds. So not only did I waste 110.00 dollars, these sorry idiots had me wait a full two months to tell me they wouldn't return the money even though my child didn't step foot on the soccer field, nor attend any of the 3 private practices I paid for. I just had the most horrible experience at Blue Sky Soccer Center in the Colony! The management was incredibly rude and disrespectful. My daughter and I paid $25 to practice on their smaller indoor field from 4:30 - 5:00pm this Tuesday evening. When we arrived at 4:15pm, we found the place completely empty, lights off, and trash throughout the building and on the field. We picked up the trash on the Field ourselves and asked the manager to turn on the lights. She did so indifferently. At 4:45, she told us to leave because our 30 minutes were up and that we had arrived 15 minutes early! I questioned her rational for wanting us to leave since we were the only ones there and finally offered to pay for an additional 15 minutes but she was so rude and so disrespectful that we ended up leaving. We are new to Frisco, TX and will definitely look for another soccer venue. As a father of two children who play for club teams, I will definitely be boycotting this horrible place! read more
