Blue Ridge, GA , is known for its awesome fly fishing environment. I myself have never had the opportunity to try this activity, but am so intrigued by the culture built around this sport. Kyle was informative and very knowledgeable as well as friendly. If felt like I wanted to "hang"! This is a nice shop with state on the art equipment. Although a bit small with a limited selection, Kyle said he had more options if ordering was necessary. Andrew is so very kind, and really made sure i was ready for anything. i walked into this knowing very, very little about kayaks at all, but when i left i felt prepared to handle it on my own. he even took the time to help me load it on my car, and he showed me how to tie it down safely. not only does the store have a great kayak selection, but it also has live crickets, fishing gear, rods, reels, coolers, kayak accessories, paddles, life vest, paddle boards, canoes, and my personal favorite... ice cream! i 100/10 recommend buying a kayak from Lake Blue Ridge Outfitters even if it's a long drive. it's worth it!

The young guy who works the firearms display looks like a double from the show "Duck Dynasty" and is the most helpful and friendly of the bunch, and his knowledge of firearms is outstanding (The kind of guy you WANT working that particular counter.) Prices for items vary; Merchandise takes advantage of tourism, and is priced absurdly. The firearms are decently priced, and so is the accessory's. The store is small, so don't expect to have breathing room. There is one issue with the store: The owner- he is rude and not so friendly, but when he's not there, expect to have a good time!
