Such a great experience! Instructions were clear and scooping up and pushing around mud is so much fun! We had a great time. It's also really fun to watch others crush cars.

Amazing! Great way to renew my man-card.

Todd is the ultimate host and photo expert! We celebrated a buddies 40th with destroying a Honda Civic and shooting the M1919 on 10/17/20. Through the entire experience, Todd didn't rush us and made sure we all had a great time. We had a crew of 8 total adults (2 from Fargo, ND; 2 from Minneapolis, MN; and 4 from Nashville, TN) and we all had a fantastic time! Every picture and video is like reliving the very positive and fun experience. Thank you to Todd for making it so great!

Tank Town USA is an absolute must if you're in town for a bachelor party/bachelorette party/birthday party/stress relief seminar. A one of a kind experience that I would readily do again, and plan to when I have the chance. If you're reading this review because you're unsure if its worth it, stop wondering. Its worth every cent. The long and short of it. 1. TANKS! We christened our ride Tanky McTankface and did laps around the track in groups of 3. Each person took a turn driving, riding in the back cabin, and sitting in the top bucket seat (all with lit cigars in mouth...... because that's how you roll with tanks). The tank maneuvers surprisingly well for such a large vehicle and tops out much faster than I would have expected. With a little mud available from the rain the night before, we had an awesome time hap handedly rolling through puddles, kicking up dirt and being all tank-y. Would definitely do again. 2. Excavation. After we left the tank we were directed to an excavator and a big hole. We proceeded to make the big hole even bigger in a variety of ways (digging, pushing, more digging). It wasn't anything I had really had any desire to do previously but was surprisingly interesting and fun. I would spend more time in that cabin if I had the chance. 3. Car Crushing. The final stage of our afternoon, we were presented with a less than mint condition Ford Explorer and a few cans of spray-paint. After some creativity and a whole bunch of inside jokes, as well as the date of our buddies wedding, the bachelor boarded Tanky McTankface and did a few laps, making sure to shatter every part of the poor truck. Needless to say the sound of a several ton tank rolling over pane glass is pretty satisfying. After the damage was done we were allowed to go to town on the remains with a sledge hammer. Who the hell needs a therapist? 4. Staff. It would be unfair for me to not mention the awesome guys running this place. They really went out of their way to make sure that we got the full experience we were looking for. I want to thank them for their infinite patience when showing us how to use the machinery as well as taking about a million photos. These guys know what they're doing, know what their guests are looking for, and helped provide an experience that we'll all remember for a long, long time. While we weren't wreaking havoc, we were provided with a couple chairs in a shaded truck with a fan to keep cool and watch our buddies have the time of their lives. I'm really glad we were able to have such an awesome experience and would highly recommend it to anyone who happens to be up the way of Blue Ridge. Overall Grade: A

Let boys (21 & 19 yrs old) drive a tank on this vacation. The one-man show is incredible and is run very professionally. The boys enjoyed immensely and the "biggest-child", the father, enjoyed riding on top during their driving times.

Party of seven on a cold January afternoon, LOVING TANK TOWN USA!

This place is AWESOME! We brought a party of seven of all ages and everyone of us left there ready to go again. They are a little hard to get a hold of at first but once you talk with Todd he responds quickly by email. We didn't pay to crush a car but we will be paying to do that next time.

Thank you to Todd with Tank Town USA for helping me surprise my husband for our 2nd anniversary. After looking online it said the date I wanted was not available. I contacted Todd and he was able to personally schedule the date and time that worked best for our vacation schedule. He was very responsive and helpful! We arrived for the tank driving and car crush experience and my husband was very surprised and excited! We spray painted the car and banged it up before my husband took the wheel of the tank to crush it! Todd was very knowledgable and explained the history of the tanks. He took tons of cool pictures and videos for us! It was a great experience and I would recommend to anyone who wants to tap into their wild side! Todd also suggested a beautiful scenic route and hike for us to check out on our way to Helen and we are so happy we followed his advice!

    We loved Tank Town!!!

My 88 year old dad went on a tank and loved it! The tank just runs over everything and it's fun to go when it's a little muddy.

Don's range is exactly what I've been looking for! B and B is a place for adults - shooters who…read moreknow what they're doing and don't want to deal with arbitrary nonsense rules that many ranges have in place. As long as you follow the cardinal rules of firearm safety, you'll fall in love with B and B just like I did. As far as the range itself, Don has built multiple ranges, each with steel targets, paper target holders, and plenty of spots to line up other kinds of bullet-worthy items (soda cans, plastic bottles, pumpkins, or whatever else you care to bring). There are AR500 steel plates at each range and there are also target devices on hand that you can use (target trees, pepper poppers, etc). The short range is ~30 meters, the medium range I believe goes up to 175 meters, and there is a third range (which I didn't get to see because of really wet weather) which I believe goes up to 250 meters. The setup lends itself to shooting from all sorts of places (behind cover, from the woods, etc) and from any position you can imagine. The setup truly is great and Don has clearly used his military experience to put together a fantastic, very practical range that beats anything else in the area as far as letting you hone your skills and getting to know your tools. And he has awesome additions in the works as well so I can't wait to get back. To wrap it up, this ain't some high-faluten indoor gun range with a bar & grille and safe-queen ARs on the wall for sale - this is a range for those of us who want to get down to business. The only downside I can think of is that B and B will ruin all other ranges for you because they just won't be able to compare to what B and B offers.

Wide variety of shooting venues with friendly people. Sunday…read moreskeet shoots are a great way to get know the members and staff

Rebel against the Tourist magnet go cart tracks, mini golf, bungee jumping carnival like fun house…read morerides and go shooting. Tennessee is the patron state of shootin' stuff. Mark Wahberg even said so in the movie "Shooter". Escape from the valley of tourist hell and head up the hill to Gatlinburg, make a left and BOOYAH, you're there. Bring your shotgun or rent one for 5 bucks. Try your hand at skeet or trap shooting. I shoot pretty regular and was looking for some practice time. Mike greeted me at the range and was super nice, not because he was sipping out of a moonshine jug and said I had a purty mouth (Mike was dressed in a uniform and super professional). No pressure...no stupid house rules...take your time, get out on the range and have a good time. These folks run a clean friendly range and are nicer than Mother Theresa. I brought a buddy who had never shot a gun before and they made him feel like a regular. When his rookie ass dropped a shell somewhere and ended up 1 short at the end of the round, Mike handed him a spare shell and said his box probably came short 1 round. I want to play poker with this guy! Value! $6 for a round of skeet is butt ass cheap. $5 for gun rental....really? That's a steal. Friendly conversation and a swell time in the hills of Tennessee ...away from the wife, kids and tourist hell called Pigeon Forge. Priceless. FYI, call ahead since this is a private club and you need a code to get through the gate. I don't have the number...google it yourself. Bottom Line: If you aspire to something more than doing laps in a NASCAR replica 1.5 HP go cart or playing Putt Putt with Sponge Bob, go on over to Gatlinburg Sportsmans Club and shoot some trap or skeet. Wipe the funnel cake sugar from your face and go shoot some real guns. Mabe you'll score some man points with the fellas around the water cooler when you say you went shooting on your miserable vacation.
