Within about five minutes they were able to diagnose the problem with the washer, but advised me to buy a new one instead of spending the money on a repair. They were able to fix the dryer, though. I thought their fee was reasonable. They were very polite and explained everything they did. As a bonus, both of the repairmen were veterans of the US armed services. I would recommend Major Appliance to anyone who needs an appliance repaired.

He said he was returning the next day but a week later hadn't returned. After discussing the issue with him he said it would be an add'l $480 to repair a $700 dryer. Needless to say I declined and was compelled to clean up the mess he left in the living area. Also, at the same time he was repairing my daughters oven door hinge. He said she needed new hinges which she ordered. He came to install and 3 hours later he installed the original hinge and charged her $400. He told her that the door was delicate and be careful not to pull on it. He never fixed the problem. Find someone else to repair your appliance or just get a new one before you spend more money than its worrth.
