Within about five minutes they were able to diagnose the problem with the washer, but advised me to buy a new one instead of spending the money on a repair. They were able to fix the dryer, though. I thought their fee was reasonable. They were very polite and explained everything they did. As a bonus, both of the repairmen were veterans of the US armed services.
