Tim called me to tell me about this. Estimated cost $10,000-$11,000. He suggested that I call M-B and see if it was under warranty. I did not have an extended warranty with them but called anyway. Found out that this is a special situation that is covered.....all parts and labor. I felt bad that I wasn't able to give Roundel any business so I texted Tim and told him to give me an oil change. He called me to say that an oil change will be part of the cylinder head replacement and that to do it through him would be a waste of my money. What a breath of fresh air this company is. Brought it in Saturday, and was told that because of the location, it couldn't be patched and I would need a new tire. unfortunately, they did not have one in stock that would fit my car so Tom called off cape and was able to locate a tire and get it over to Wareham, which he went and picked up the same day. I assured him that I was not in any rush, recognizing that they were busy and it was the holiday weekend, but he was just as adamant that they would get it done for me today if they could.
