I went to ask the manager to at least say sorry, he basically said my truck was too old and then tried to "puff his chest" and say basically if I think he's rude wait till I meet the owner. Then the manager acting like an absolute clown in front of his employees threatened to trespass me cause he couldn't say sorry or be in the wrong. If you want to roll the dice on your car getting damaged and then get threatened when you just ask for an apology by all means visit a Todd's place today! read more

Nothing bad to say here. Good car wash. Got the car clean. It was fast and efficient. Didn't even wake up the babies from their nap. Yay!

This recently-opened car wash (just south of the intersection of Bardstown Rd. with Fegenbush) offers $3, $7, $10 and $12 car washes. Also, there is a carwash membership for $20 a month (automatic billing) that allows unlimited carwashes in a 30-day time period. Before the wash, there is a preparation area that contains three bug wash-off areas and one truck bed clean-out area. After the preparation areas, the facility has three lanes where customers can choose a wash. These three lanes merge into one carwash "drive through" bay. I had my car washed late on a Monday evening and there was not a line at all; however, I cannot imagine this place when is it crowded. There is plenty of space for cars before the carwash choice, but hardly any space during the "merge" area (between the choice and the carwash bay). Maybe that's the design, but it seems too small of an area. The car wash ($12) that I received was actually a pretty good one. My car had 5-day old "bird droppings" (don't judge me) and one-day old bird droppings on it. The wash cleaned all bird droppings, except some of the 5-day old bird droppings. I probably should have pre-washed at the "bug off" station, but I didn't even notice the stations until after the car wash was complete and I was at the vacuums. Anyway, the number of vacuums for the car wash is phenomenally large and the first bay that I chose had hardly any suction. The second one had much better suction and I was able to vacuum my entire car using that one hose. I believe this car wash will be my regular one for now only because it is so close to home. read more

I've ran my truck through Todd's Place car wash on two occasions now. Both experiences have been positive. I choose the $15 option as my truck had been neglected for several months. The process takes about 90 seconds from start to finish. My only complaint would be that the drying portion didn't last long enough. Did a good job but left water on the vehicle. On my last visit I took advantage of many free services they offer with your wash. I vacuumed out the entire inside which easily would've take $5 in quarter at any other car wash. The floor mat cleaning machine takes you mats like a vending machine takes your dollars. It spits it out the bottom cleaner than it was. Over all I was satisfied with how clean my truck was and after all the free options the $15 wash is well worth the money. In the future I will look into their monthly deals. read more

Okay so I normally don't write reviews but I felt like this was worth it. I go here about twice a month to wash car and clean it out. My last visit, however, on my way out I dropped my American Express Card; I notice on my way home. I immediately took it for granted to be lost and locked the card. Shout out though to Juan Torres who works at the Car Wash. He literally reached out to me via Facebook to make sure I got my card back. I appreciate that honesty and integrity a lot. I currently drive for UBER/LYFT so i wash my car about 3 times a week. I had just given it a fairly thourough wash the day before, so thought I would give it a quick wash & vaccum because Saturdays are my busier days and best days for tips. I am not near my usual carwash and see this one and figure I would stop in because they were offering free vaccums. I drive through the wash and the gentleman at the entrance stops me and takes my antenna off. He is having a hard time, but is able to get it off and hands it to me. I found this pretty awkward as it has never been an issue anywhere else, and like I said previously frequent car washes. Would later find out when it started raining that he also stuck a plastic sleeve over the rear wiper blade. While in the wash I am playing on my phone and then hear a loud pop noise and look up. I dont see anything so Im assuming its just the side mirror being pushed in or out as that sometimes happens. I pull over to the vaccums and empty the trash out and give it a quick vaccum to get moving and on the road making some money. The inside was not very bad since it had recently been detailed so just needed a quick touch up. Hop in and pull out to grab some gas. While walking back to the van I notice a pretty large spot that was still dirty so do a little inspecting. Then I notice that my windshield wiper is missing, and that there are multiple areas that aren't clean. I'm sure they found my wiper blade in their wash bay when they cleaned up. I know I used the cheap wash, but given it wasn't too bad to begin with I feel like a certain level of clean should be expected. Todd's Place Car wash is located on Bardstown Road in between Fern Creek and Jeffersontown. It's an easy place to spot from the road as it has a big sign and the lots on either side of this car wash have large empty fields facing the road. I've been coming to this car wash since it first opened almost a year ago. In the year that they've been open they've managed to stay looking clean and new. There are always friendly attendants including the owner asking if anyone needs help and they're always making sure that any trash is quickly picked up to keep the place looking good. Just like most car washes, this place offers different levels of washes with prices ranging from $3 to $15 . This place also offers a couple different types of monthly memberships that I should look into instead of being concerned it's going to rain 3 days later. There are three lanes to drive up to and then you select your car wash choice on the touch screen computer. You can pay with either cash or credit card. Because the attendants only guide you onto the car wash track and don't spray your car prior to entering the wash, if you happen to have a ton of brake dust on your wheels that you have neglected for years, it just might still be there when you exit the car wash. You also might have a few droplets of water on your back window that you'll have to wipe off. This is drive through car wash and though the equipment is less than a year old, it doesn't detail the car for you as it seems some people expect. The car washes and equipment are great though. This place does seem single use detailing equipment at a vending machine by the way. It also has a bug prep area prior to entering the paying lane. It also has a mat cleaning station where you run your mat through a machine that brushes off all those crumbs you've dropped on your way to work. I haven't had a bad experience at this place. The place is super clean, the vacuum hoses have great suction compared to some other places in town, and prices are comparable to other places in town. It's near my house and it's still relatively new. They don't offer detailing services unfortunately but for a good car wash, Todd's Place is a great choice. read more

I went to Todd's on 4-8-2017. I was driving my Tahoe that had lots of pollen on it. The truck was not to dirty but, I went ahead and purchased the $15 car wash. I didn't use the vacuum's I went straight to the grocery store. As I came out I notice big streaks going down the back of my truck. It looked terrible. I left a voice mail and emailed the car wash. This is by far one of the worst places on earth! If you want your car to get pulled off the track & get blamed for it! On top of being refused to be allowed to see the drivers side view of the film were it came off track. On top of being threatened to have to replace the whole car wash system, Bc you broke it by getting off track! ( only for them to tell your insurance you were under the influence at 11:04 a.m.! & they are not proceeding if I'm not! If someone threatens you, you cover your ass! I then told them, that they could and would never handle a day in the life of a 41 year old 5x stroke survivor!! Call me drunk again! So. I have a monthly subscription here, the expensive option. I have my car washed at least 2 times a week here. I have mentioned to the employees a few times that the pre wetting sprayers are not spraying. The car needs to be wet first or the dirt is just being scrapped across your cars paint. Right now soap hits the car then immediately the brushes. Less than 1 second. No time for any wash away or softening of dirt. These sprayers are there but they are turned off. I assume to save on water cost. Yesterday the big flat brushes were not even moving. This is not normal. Usually this place is maintained well I believe. So PLEASE turn on the pre soak sprayers! If you do I will change my review to 5 stars and continue to be your happy customer. If not the other car wash down the street has great pre soak sprayers. I will take my monthly subscription there. I would rather keep doing business with you guys. read more

I went to Todds Place after returning from vacation to get my van washed. Choose the $15 wash & asked the male attendant if it would remove the break dust from the tires. He assured me all dust would be removed & I "would not be disappointed " When the van came out, the rims still had brake dust all over them. I called the same attendant over to show him & he rubbed the dirt with his finger, told me it was "stained" & that I "had to put a little elbow grease into it". What did I pay $15 for?!?!Told him that's what I paid him for & I wouldn't be returning He offered no apology, no offer to run it back through, nothing. I have used this carwash before and in the past have gotten very good service. Today, all that changed. I went throuugh on the $12 wash; my tires were supposed to be cleaned and shined. That did not happen. When I talked to the attendant about it he told me that the tire cleaner was broken and did not work properly. He proceeded to hand me a packet of tire shine to wipe them down myself. I asked for a partial refund, which I should have gotten without asking. He just ignored me and about his business. Worst car wash in town! Brushes on the passenger side of car never even came on. I went out and told attendees, and they said oh it's just a $3.00 car wash and it's supposed to be that way. Now the brushes went down the drivers side. So I guess you get half your car washed for $3.00 bucks. I have used the more expensive washes in there many times, but I won't be back. Went to this car wash on Friday 7pm. Not my first visit but, this will be my last. Always get the $15 wash. 2 Attendants on duty. Signs are posted everywhere indicating loud music is not acceptable. A car pulls in with 2 young men and as they open the car doors VERY LOUD PROFANE language music spilled across the complete complex. There were younger children present. The two young men looked sround ssinf to dare anyone to say anything to them. No one, including the Attendants did. Not opposed to music, enjoy it very much but, the enviroment and the rules of the establishment are set so that everyone has a pleasant experience washing their vehicle. Dont post signs if you are not going to enforce. Won't be back. read more
