YUM!! Best of the tofu salads if you like lots of flavor!
Mick W.

Toveggie Balls, Woodear Mushroom Salad, and Zesty Five Spice Tofu salad are my reliable comfort foods. You can eat them all and still want more. Toveggie Balls have a nice fried flavor. Woodear Mushroom and Zetsy Five Spice Tofu have many more flavorful veggies in the salad to make a great symphony of flavors: carrots, green and red bell peppers, celery. Zetsy Five Spice Tofu is my top favorite! Even if you are not a fan of these raw veggies individually (I am not), try them all together in this salad and you'll love it! Zesty Five Spice Tofu has a dash of chili oil too...and I'm not a spicy food lover, but the oil just makes all the flavors come together! I can definitely eat multiple ones in a sitting...and am very satisfied afterwards!

Amazing organic sushi for an awesome price! I love it

I have only tried the teriyaki tofu sushi pack and loved it at the Stonestown farmers market - never thought tofu sushi would be so yummy!

My parents and I are huge durian fans and have been wanting to come here since it opened…read more My parents were really excited to finally come here and were asking a lot of curious questions about the different varieties & tastes to the sales person. Unfortunately, the sales person was really dismissive and rude to my parents, talking down to & interrupting my parents' excited comments. One particular offputting moment was when my parents casually brought up Costco durians in conversation to each other and the sales person immediately cut off my parents to say that we should just go to Costco if we want lower class durian. I think there was definitely some major miscommunication. Maybe we're just not the target audience, but then who is the target audience if not fellow Southeast Asian durian lovers?!?!? We ended up leaving the store & not buying anything because of the service and I'm just really sad that someone would talk to my aging parents that way :(

TL;DR - really cute durian store and friendly staff, but the durian fruit is a gamble…read more THE STORE: This place sells durian and durian accessories. You'll find cute durian theme items like candle, plushies, and cups to decorate your home without stinking it up. THE DURIAN: We must have had a bad luck. We bought a small mao sha wang durian and it was so disappointing. Absolutely no durian flavor and each piece barely had any flesh! For $70+ you would think there is some level of quality guarantee? You can get a cheaper durian at the grocery store.

I've been meaning to explore this farmer's market. The first time we were driving by and decided to…read morestop. It has a good variety of vendors for produce, meat, cheese, mushrooms, breads, body products, jewelry and more. There are a variety food vendors where you can get your fill of dim sum, burgers, Laos sausages, and a wonderful coffee vendor. I think you want to get there earlier than noon. The first time we went, it was about 1pm. We strolled up and down the aisle. By 1:30 there seemed to be little produce and a couple of vendors were starting to pick up. The second time we went a bit earlier. It is about a 20 minute bike ride from the Point so it is convenient. We walked around and saw the same vendors so I feel confident they will be there regularly. Great location with views of the marina and bay from the parking lot. There is a no pet sign but it was posted only at one entrance - and not the one we went through. It was warm and I couldn't leave her in the car. Because she was self-contained in her personal buggy, I didn't think it would be an issue. Still, probably best to leave your furbabies at home. The only negative I have is one vendor blasting music from their booth. I enjoy listening to music but it's so loud that I can't have a conversation with the vendor without yelling, so I move on. Quickly. When you get to the water end of the market, you are blessed with sounds of the bay and birds. Now, that's nice. The second time we rode our bikes from home. It's about a 20 minute bike ride from the Point so it is convenient and it was a beautiful morning. As we rolled up, we were greeted by loud music. Again. Sigh. There are a few tables set up at one end with coloring books and games, entertainment for both grownups and kids alike. You can also grab a bite to eat or something to drink, sit down and enjoy the vibes. Pleasant way to enjoy a sunny day by the bay in Richmond.

What is so great about The Richmond Farmers Market in Marina Bay is the space that is being used. The vendors at this market are very kind. You say hi to them and they start a conversation with you. It is a friendly Farmers Market to come to. I love seeing the people that attend the Farmers Markets. I have not seen anybody trying to bring their pets to the market which is not allowed. I do love how people come here on a Sunday Morning checking out the vendors. When I attended this market I only saw one vendor that had fruits/vegetables. Every other vendor were take out food or clothes. I am not disappointed that the market didn't have much produce vendor but it is still a market nobody if you call it a Farmers Market. Keep up the great work serving Richmond.
