It's not exactly something that we really think about, much less discuss with any regularity. That is, until you actually need to have something cleaned...then you've got options-o-plenty and some potentially costly decisions to make. So, let's start there. I really want to do this one justice because I think it can save people some time and money depending on their circumstances. While you're reading, you may want to keep in mind, this particular job was what I'm sure most would consider a worse case scenario. I recently prepped a clients investment property for sale and he had a few decisions to make. The biggest of which was whether we should replace the carpet in this home or try and have it cleaned first. The difference in cash would've been thousands... As you can see by the 'before' photos below, I honestly didn't think there was much hope for this carpet when I first spoke with Ashton at Xtreme Dry. He was gracious enough to work on a couple test spots before giving us his opinion. He explained we were flirting with more of a restoration than a cleaning, but he accepted the challenge. To say we were impressed with initial test areas would be an understatement. The decision was made to give this process a try rather than face the aforementioned replacement costs. I simply can't articulate how bad this carpet originally looked. It truly looked like a crime scene. It would be no exaggeration whatsoever to suggest this carpet looked like a couple junkies shot-up and died on it. It was truly that bad... just years of wear. Anyway, you get the picture. Flash forward 24 hours and you'd never know you were standing in the same home. This was truly a case of money having been well spent. It's also a glowing testimonial to the power of on-line reviews. Like you, (right now) I read about Xtreme Dry on Yelp and decided to give them a call. Ashton and his team did an exceptional job on this home. He and his crew were professional, courteous and attentive. My wife and I will not hesitate to recommend them to anyone in the future. In fact, we plan to schedule them to give our own home a once-over very soon. I won't attempt to explain the difference between this particular process and traditional carpet shampooing, but as I understand it, traditional carpet cleaning/shampooing is a wet process and it creates more of a muddy environment within the carpet. This is why stains can return, etc. This process uses a textured material more akin to sand, allowing for a cleaner, dry extraction. It's a truly impressive process. Check out the pics below. I was quoted $275.00 for a septic to be pumped. After the…read moresystem was pumped I was told that it would be $350.00 I reluctantly paid him. I didn't want to argue with the individual and I told my wife and Son that I will just contact the company. I phoned the company and I was told by the receptionist that he told her I gave him a $75.00 tip. Driver phoned me and said he never told her that I gave him a tip. I have been trying to resolve this in a nice manner but then he called me and said that he never told the receptionist that I gave him a tip. I phoned her back and she said that she has it in her notes and that they gave him the $75.00 I spoke with the Owner and he began interrogating me as to why I paid him the $350.00. Then he said that he repaired an outlet to the septic pump. That is completely false. Not only that he is not a licensed electrician anyway. I did have a licensed electrician replace the outlet to repair the pump. So in short they lied to me and also stole my money. As of this writing they still have not offered to refund my money. I do have to say this: The receptionist was as professional, honest and pleasant as I could have ever expected.

for one thing, their prices are high and they charge me for three visits which they did come three…read moretimes but only because the guy needed to take measurements and then several weeks later he came back to clean my vent and then several weeks later he came back to repair my exhaust fan. I sent him pictures of the exhaust fan and he charged me three times when he could've done the work in two times. It took him forever to get a replacement and his communication led me to believe that he was able to get an exhaust fan, but it took him weeks to get back here. When he clean the one vent, I don't think he did a good job. He took the vent cover off, wiped it down and sprayed for mildew, but he didn't go up in the vent and clean the whole vent. The total cost of replacing one exhaust fan and wiping down, another vent cover with 630 something dollars. He was recommended to me, but even the person that recommended him said that those prices were extremely high for the work he did and for the extra trip had he been more organized he could've done this in two trips, I had to pay for the trip. If I had to write them on yelp, there is not a star for a minus. His assistant seem to know more.

Master Tech arrived at my rental property with his 2 sons to inspect for mold in my townhouse. His son climbed up on a dresser and lifted himself into the attic to take pictures for him. I have to tell ya, when a so called professional shows up to do a mold inspection and doesn't bring a ladder or a flashlight and then has his son do most of the work would definitely keep me from referring or hiring this company in the future.
