I take my Bella girl here every five weeks. She's hates getting groomed but Toko's always takes good care of my baby. I love that I can drop her off and she doesn't have to wait in a kennel. She's done within two hours and she always comes back looking so cute and happy. I get a cute picture of her every time she's groomed and scheduling is such a breeze. Anytime I've needed to make a change it's been easy and she's been more than accommodating getting me rescheduled asap. As much as I'd like to gate keep this spot I always recommend her to friends and family that are looking for a grooming spot that is affordable and treats their furbaby like family. We brought our Bichon Frise, "Mochi", to Toko's Pet Spa for grooming and we were a bit disappointed. We wanted her head shaped like a standard Bichon Frise "helmet", (pictured below in first photo). When Mochi was finished, she had a small flat shaped helmet resembling a "pin-head". As mentioned above, this was quite disappointing. We would like to find a dog groomer that is familiar with the shape of a standard Bichon Frise helmet and who can groom accordingly. Any suggestions? read more

First timer at Tokopetspaday Conveniently located on Queen Street! Ample parking. Hiroko was so accommodating and efficient! Our appointment was at 6p and service ended shortly after (6:30ish). It was my doggo's first Ultrasonic Teeth Cleaning There's only so much you can do as a Paw Parent.. I brush his teeth nearly every morning but I had difficulty with those "hard to reach" areas which Hiroko clearly addressed Services are affordable. Maintenance is key to avoid those high vet bills! Highly recommend Toko's service. Amazing work on my Chewy's teeth. Chewy is 17 years old and is not a candidate for anesthetic dental cleaning. Toko was patient, and gentle with Chewy. The facility was clean and comfortable. We tried another non anesthetic clinician and after 3 scrapes she said chewy was "reactive" , however with Toko, Chewy was calm " he did so good" . Our pup has had a hard time getting his teeth cleaned and nails trimmed no matter where we take him. Our friend recommended Hiroko at Toko's Pet spa. I told her of my concerns and she said "just come in and we can try!" It was so easy to make an appointment with their online booking system, Hiroko san reached out to me to find out more information, then sent me info on their location and parking. We dropped him off and she was so kind and welcoming. There are multiple parking spots right outside their front door. 30 minutes later she sent us photos and told us how great he did! She cleaned his teeth beautifully and even trimmed his nails while waiting for us! She got him to trust him and he was totally comfortable when I went to pick him up! Hiroko took such excellent care of my dog Dottie. She clearly has experience in all aspects of grooming from start to finish. She was extremely professional and friendly while booking my appointment and answered all questions I had. On the day of my appointment I brought Dottie inside the building and I got to see where Hiroko would be doing the grooming, which gave me lots of peace of mind. It is bright and clean and welcoming inside. The front of the building can be a bit misleading- if you are in the area, definitely check out the inside for yourself! There is even a cute retail section! When I got Dottie back she smelled so fresh and clean- and her nails were buffed so nicely! While waiting for Dottie to be finished up, Hiroko sent me cute picture updates along the way which was appreciated. Hiroko is an answer to prayer!!! My Poki is turning 14 this year and I really do not want him to go under anesthesia again...plus the vet gave me a quote of $4000.
