Wan wan is really good at their job, excellent and meticulous with grooming and very diligent. Our maltipoo came in all tangled and they didn't buzz off all her hair like a different grooming place did which I really appreciated!! They're really respectful and even gave us a call that they would have to cut her hair shorter than normal, but even still it turned out really great. They charge a little more for poodle fees, and the total came out to ~$90, which is worth the service and attention they provide. The only thing was that our dog was very scared initially since it was her first time here, so we have to see if she's gonna be okay her 2nd time around. read more

Did you know that in Japan, the sound of a dog is taught as "wan-wan"? I'm guessing this is the inspiration behind the name Wan Wan Paradise. Naomi and Kumi at Wan Wan Paradise have been grooming my fur babies for several years now. This is the first time I'm reviewing Wan Wan and they do an excellent job for a reasonable price. Today, in just under two hours for $65 my pup, Abbie had a nice haircut on her face, neck, body, fanny and feet, her nails trimmed, anal glands expressed, ears cleaned, bathed, and for an extra $10 her teeth were brushed. They always take a cute themed photo of my pup, just in time for Easter! Prior to that it was for New Year's! I just love picking Abbie up and seeing her "kawaii" little smiling face and she's usually wearing a little bandana or other accessory. I admired the work of art by the groomer. Today was Kumi! On my way out, Kumi offered to make my next appointment, which I did. They're very popular, so appointments are 3-4 months out. They will always try her best to accommodate your schedule. If your appointment is later in the day and you need to drop your pup off earlier, they will also allow you to do that. Just contact them to arrange. Naomi will also respond to appointment requests or other questions via Yelp! Wan Wan also sells treats, leashes and other accessories at the shop. Abbie's favorites are the chicken beef, ahi and pork jerkies ($11). I like that there's a locked door behind where the dogs are groomed and kenneled to ensure no dog accidentally escapes. Their response to my questions through Yelp were timely/quick. Walk-in for nails (no appointment necessary). They stopped what they were doing to bring my two in. I cannot say sorry enough to them but also thanked them. My boy is a STRUGGLE. I've tried to do it myself since adopting him July 2024, and today is April 2025. His nails were so LONG. This is the first place I even considered trying. And we will continue to come back when needing to. It came out to about $25 each. I tipped them 30% because they did whatever they could for their safety and my pups safety. So it did come out to $68. But this was necessary and needed after my multiple failed attempts to get their nails managed. What started as 1 aunty for each pup ended with 2 aunties on Sweetie (because she tried to mouth one) and 1 uncle holding Kama like a football baby while 1 aunty tried to clip/dremmel and 1 more aunty to help towards the end. Took in the dog I was sitting for a nail trim. They open at 7AM and nail trims are by walk-in. They had about 3 dogs at different tables being groomed. The dogs were pretty calm and collected. I was impressed by how busy the salon was. A technician took our dog right away and gently soothed her as she was trembling little in anticipation. Nails were quickly trimmed and buffed under 15 minutes! Total came out to around $16. Super excellent service and very convenient as well. There are 2 designated parking stalls right in front of the shop for their customers. The salon is quite small but they use the space efficiently. I love Wan Wan Paradise! I am very picky with dog groomers because like many other do parents I've seen my fair share of nails cut too short, upset pup, & hair left all over. Wan Wan Paradise is everything I could ask for in a groomer! Location- The salon is right off of Ward and has several stalls in front to pull right in. With Covid restrictions you should call, (or ring the bell,) first- and wear a mask! You will drop your pup off, fill out your information if it's your first time, and then you're off. The salon is small, but always cold with AC on, and extremely clean which is a must. Service- I pay $35 for a full groom for my French Bulldog , (so be advised that this price probably reflects that he doesn't have a long coat to groom!) I think the price is very reasonable for the service level and quality of groom. My pup ALWAYS comes home w perfect nails, ears, wrinkles, etc. I've even left on occasion and had some scooting and the owner, Naiomi told me I could bring him back to recheck his glands. My pups have been coming to Wan Wan Paradise for about 1.5 years and I feel at peace every time I drop off my pups. My fur child has black nails. Trimming them myself gives me anxiety since I can't see where the quick is. So I take him to this place to get his pawdicure. This place is great when it comes to caring for your beloved fur child and Naomi provided amazing service by answering all my questions through the phone (side note: they won't answer your call right away due to their fur clients but they call back to answer your questions). The staff here are super sweet and even talk to the fur kids to help them calm down. They make sure to sanitize and clean the tables in between fur clients. Nail trim and buff at this place does not require an appointment and walking in was no issue for me. Naomi is the best! Nugget had his very first puppy haircut and she did a GREAT job with him! Idk how she managed to cut his fur because he's the squirmiest puppy ever and he's also really tiny but he was looking VERY SHAGGY and I don't think he could even see very well anymore because of the fur in front of his eyes! I dropped him off in the morning and it felt a little like leaving him at preschool for the first time but I needn't have worried because he was in great hands. A little less than 2 hours later, I got a call that he was ready! I was so anxious to see him! We zoomed over there and she brought him out. He was so cute! And he could see! She advised we bring him back in about 4-5 weeks for another haircut. We'll be back! A few designated parking spaces in front; hard to make a left turn because of the traffic light. Took my doggie in for a teeth cleaning. It was our first time ever at a groomer as my dog has short hair and very low maintenance. However, his teeth required a much needed cleaning, which was also a first. Naomi kept in great contact through the appointment process despite the covid situation. She also sent a reminder the day before and was absolutely the greatest. My fur-baby's teeth are now looking new as ever, we both couldn't be happier. I LOVE Naomi and Wan Wan! This review is WAY overdue. My dogs have been seeing Naomi for 8 years. They got their first haircut with her and have been with her ever since. Dogs are so special to us so finding a groomer that you feel will be safe and loving to your pet is hard to find. Naomi is a true professional! The process is so easy. She is in high demand so don't think you can just call and make an appointment for your doggie for the next day. Sometimes, especially weekends, she can be booked months in advance. BUT SHE IS WORTH THE WAIT! I have my appointments booked 6 months out . Drop off is smooth and easy and she will text you when your little one is done. Usually takes about 2 hours. Being a first time dog owner, I relied on yelp and recommendations from friends to see where I wanted to get my fur baby groomed. Wan wan came up has a recommendation and I used the message feature on yelp! It was easy to contact and set up an appointment. My puppy got his fur washed, cut and nail trimmed. He is 15 lb and it was $55. I also added on teeth cleaning for an additional $10. The salon is small and only one family is allowed at a time - I had to fill out a form since it was my puppy's first time. It took about 3 minutes to get checked in and it was about 2 hours since there were so many puppers going to the salon that day - it was a Saturday. I was a little worried since my puppy has separation anxiety but when we came to pick him up they let me know that he was well behaved and he was so happy at the salon! They also took pictures with my puppy all dressed up in Halloween themed! It was so cute. They emailed it to me that day. They also gave him a bow tie haha. After months of searching for a groomer, we were recommended Naomi at Wan Wan Paradise from my good friend. We called to leave a message and they returned our call within a day to schedule the appointment. They even texted a reminder the day before. My dog hasn't been into a groomer so we were not sure how he would react. He typically doesn't react badly to other dogs and people in public settings. The day of the appointment, we went 10 minutes early to fill out general forms and Naomi asked what type of cut we would prefer. Wan Wan would do bath, grooming & nails, which is amazing. Their pricing is also reasonable as well. Our dog Kobe, was very scared and we haven't seen him like that before. He was shaking and jumping up for us to carry him. But Naomi was very calm and let Kobe calm down. She not only took him but went with his mood and vibe and didn't try to rush him into something he wasn't comfortable with. You can tell Naomi and her staff are dog lovers. Based on how anxious Kobe was, it also made me anxious and worried but after seeing Naomi's level of care, I knew all would be great. The appointment lasted 2 hours. When picking Kobe up, his tail was wagging and he looked very happy. Naomi said goodbye to him and he reacted well to her after their time together. She is truly a dog whisperer! Naomi did a great job on his grooming, nails were perfect and she even did a mini photoshoot and emailed us a picture of Kobe the same day. I highly recommend Wan Wan paradise for your pet grooming needs. Naomi does a fantastic job at cutting my 9-year-old Shih Tzu's hair. The prices are reasonable, and contacting is easy since she has the option to text or call if changes happen. The drop off and pick up method is now low contact since she comes to your car. She is also super fast! With previous groomers, I've had to wait 5-6 hours sometimes for them to be finished. Wan Wan is great at having your animal ready within 2 hours. The length of the hair on my dogs ears are left long where it's gets into his water and food, so I trimmed one side to the perfect length unfortunately my son cut the other side way to short. Kindest people you'll meet ^_^ This was Luffy's first ever salon appointment so I researched for days looking for the right place for my little pompom and I stumbled across this cute little Japanese shop. Making an phone appointment was fairly simple. Just call in, schedule a day, and she asks information about your dog. The only thing that concerned me was she didn't really ask for my name or for my pet's name O_O just the breed.....so I was kind of scared that there was going to be a mix up later on but rest assured, the day of the appointment went smoothly! (Though I called the day before just to confirm LOL) This place was easy to find! And turns out I pass by it quite often. It's located literally right across from sports authority with a bright yellow/orange sign that says WanWan Paradise. How on earth did I miss that? Idk....Parking is limited but they have maybe 2-3 stalls in front of the shop and some street parking but when in doubt, park at Sports x) It's a small little shop where you can just sit and watch your pet get groomed but since it was our first time, we have to fill out a small piece of paper work. I wanted to watch my Luffy get groomed but he was too hyper/hesitant and wouldn't sit still so I had to leave and come back in an hour or so :( When I came back, his mood seemed so much happier :D and he looked so much "cleaner" and lighter. The only thing I was kinda upset was that he didn't look that much different?
